I had a great nonalcoholic cocktail! Remember it's a BYOB restaurant, so don't forget to bring your favorite bottle. The dinner was very good. The foie burger was hearty and the French fries were crisp with a great dipping sauce. Fish and chips were good. Service was excellent. It's a lovely, off the beaten path place. I noticed a group of folks coming in with their wine, gathering for appetizers at a comfy sofa and chairs. Definitely a nice atmosphere.

Great service and food quality. A hidden gem! We would recommend getting here early as it was surprisingly busy.

We had to wave down the chef in the kitchen and she was able to alert someone that we were there! Happy that we stayed because the peek in the kitchen we were able to see fresh bread being made and food being prepared that I wanted to eat! After this experience in the beginning, it was all uphill from there from the service of our waitress the big booth seats to the food experience. The only thing we did not enjoy was the French onion soup, which was kind of flavorless, but we took it to go, and I will definitely doctor it up and eat it later for sure. Go here!

The last time, and I mean the last time, I went alone. The place was empty, only a few seniors there eating. my server was slow, and my food was the worse. I spent a small fortune with an appetizer and main entree... I left so disappointed that I spent about $75 was charged a service fee for using my debt card, and I did not enjoy any of my food.

EVERYTHING YOU WANT AND MORE!!!!! We first visited water street a few months ago. We were tired of…read morethe resort food at GWL and couldn't endure another generic, fast food meal. We started looking up restaurants and Water Street popped up. When we pulled up, we weren't sure if we were at the right place. Based on the raving reviews, we expected a "flashy", fancy place. Instead it was so "unassuming." Upon walking in....it was just what we needed. It felt "home-y." The hostess greeted us with a warm smile and "welcome," along with some salt water taffy. Then we met our server Caden. He was outstanding!!!! He could tell we needed some good food and drinks and boy did he deliver. My husband and I took his recommendations and ordered the "banana old fashion" and crab crostini...HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!! Then we met Cassie!!! She'd stopped by to see if our daughter (9) needed a refill. Her personality, hospitality, and attention was incredible. Between Caden and Cassie, we laughed so hard, quickly forgetting about the long day we'd had. Traveling often and coming from PA; good customer service is rare. So to find somewhere that makes us feel "right at home," is a blessing. My husband and daughter agreed, we had to come back. We returned yesterday for the second time but this time with our family (from ATL). We'd spoken (more like bragged) so much about our last experience, that they were just as excited as us to return. Once again, we saw our girl Cassie (who was just as amazing as the first time) and our server Jamie. Everything from the Chesapeake fondue, calamari, and cream of crab soup to the drinks and the double crab cakes (P.S they are huge...could barely eat one) were incredible. By the end of our meal, our family was just as impressed! Thank you Jamie and Cassie for such a unforgettable experience. We will be back again!!!

We were looking to try a different restaurant this weekend, and decided to try Seven Seas…read more We started with a yummy roasted eggplant remoulade with tomato. I put it on the fresh pita and it was an excellent starter. We ordered the Caesar Salad - it was very good - fresh, green leafy lettuce - crispy croutons, a sprinkling of grated cheese, and a delicious dressing. Next up, the Crab Bisque. I lived in Maryland for 30 years and had crab bisque many, many times. This was the first crab bisque that wasn't tomato based - it was a brownish, creamy version. It was more like chowder - although when I looked up 'bisque', it most certainly can be creamy. I might have been fine with the 'creamy version', but it lacked any crab flavor and had no crab in it - not one shred. I've never had any fish soup that had no fish in it. I took a few spoonfuls and left it. My partner tried it and came to the same conclusion. The entrees came next - I got the Seared Branzino and my partner got the Shrimp and Scallops. The Seared Branzino was okay - there were bites where I had a very fishy taste - and it was a very small piece of fish. My partner's Shrimp and Scallops came with steamed garlic spinach and mashed potatoes. The Scallops were tender and cooked perfectly - they were in a delicious sauce and had a very nice sear. However, the Shrimp were tough and chewy - we were both very surprised to have one item (scallops) so good, and another (shrimp) on the same plate, that was so bad. The steamed garlic spinach and mashed potatoes were very good. While our Caesar salad, Scallops and side dishes were very good, the rest of the meal was lacking.

This time, I confirmed with the waitress how it would be prepared, but what came out was completely different, filleted with a tomato based sauce, peppers, and onions. I told them that was not what we discussed and made it clear I'm allergic to tomatoes. I was told it wouldn't be a problem to make the fish I actually requested. Instead of remaking the dish, they took the same fish back, removed the toppings, left the tomato residue and brought it back out with the same side; including cold rice. After I clearly stated an allergy, serving the same fish with the tomato residue is unacceptable. This was careless and disappointing. If a customer mentions a food allergy, the dish should be remade, not modified and sent back out.

My wife, my brother-in-law, my niece, and a couple other relatives were having a dinner for my wife's 60th birthday on 8/15/26. I arrived late because I had been attending to some other family business. When I arrived, the two vague children at the hostess desk were unable to help me locate my family, and told me that I wasn't allowed to come in and sit with a party that had already been sat. As they were children, and seemed a little confused, I told them not to worry about it and that I would find my wife myself. I walked into the restaurant and sat next to my wife, to have the actual hostess stomp up and tell me that I could not sit with my family. I responded that of course I could, to which she replied that since she sleeps with the owner or something she had the authority to tell me that I couldn't sit with my family. As she was asking me to leave, I suggested that she could go fornicate herself and proceeded to leave. As I was walking by her on the way out the door, she did the whole dramatic "excuse me??" thing so I repeated myself because she apparently didn't understand my suggestion the first time. I have never been treated so rudely in a restaurant in my entire life. This is Amy's Baking Company level rudeness. I hope Mick's goes out of business soon, if for no other reason than to spare others the torment of this human garbage hostess and her incapacity to communicate effectively. Had she said something like "we have an all you can eat here, which is charged by the guest, so I'd be happy to put in an entrée order for you" I'd have been fine. I don't even eat crab. I would have ordered a burger and fries. At this point I will eat out of a garbage can before I eat at Mick's.
