    Hibachi Steak

It's been close to a year since we been back. We are rarely in concord or would frequent here more. Still got the same great service and the same great taste. Plenty of food for a great price. Still a bit much on the buttery side but still pretty good food! Definitely worth a shot if you craving hibachi and have a big appetite!

Great experience! Without reservations at dinner time on Valentine's Day, we called several places and landed here when they had a wait time less than 30 mins. If you're looking for an intimate, romantic date night spot, this isn't the place. It was difficult to have a conversation because of the noise level and our table was essentially connected to the one next to us. BUT if you're looking for quick service, friendly staff, and delicious food, then you're in luck! The menu is to the point and very easy to customize exactly how you want. I had the hibachi plate with chicken, shrimp, fried rice, veggies, yum yum sauce & sriracha. You get to choose what protein, sides, & sauces you want with lots of options to choose from. The food was honestly pretty fantastic! Chicken was cooked perfectly, very well seasoned and juicy. Some of the veggies were cooked unevenly, however, I had some very undercooked broccoli on my plate. The fried rice needed just a touch more seasoning, but of course the sauces helped with that. The value is definitely there. The portions are HUGE. My takeout box literally looked as if I'd taken 2 bites of my food, and believe me I was stuffed when we left. I'd be more than happy to come back here.

I ordered the Plate, comes with two entrees, two sides, and two sauces. Lots of leftovers!

Food is incredible every time. Huge portions. Only reason it's a 4 star is because it is always a long wait for our food. The food makes up for it, but don't go intending to be in and out! Yesterday we went and were the first customer or second since they opened at 11. We figured - great! This will be quicker today.. took at least 30 mins for our appetizer to come out- which was steamed edamame. We're thinking oh great so another 20 plus mins for our entrees then.. nope came out 3 mins later, so only had a moment to enjoy appetizer. Portions were great, which is good because prices have gone up (like everything else !) after tip it was $70 for two people, one appetizer and one soda. We don't go a lot, but we're celebrating my bday a little early. So it was a nice treat. It's always very clean inside and nice staff.

Hibachi rice with chicken and shrimp and sweet& spicy sauce on the side. By itself, the chicken was good but the shrimp and rice needed some flavor. Very bland. I added the sauce all over and stirred it up real good and the meal came to life. For a hibachi spot the food preparation needs some work.

Truly my favorite hibachi spot in all the land, I'm devastated we don't live closer! They've changed and rearranged their menu over time but the quality has always been spot on. I love the fact that you can build your own plate - they have tons of options where you can mix and match including plate size, proteins, and side items. They also have great sauces on the side for dipping. The service is always friendly and quick. You better bet if I'm in concord I'm stopping by hibachi pit, full stop!

I've been hearing from a lot of people the food is amazing and I wanted to go check it out for myself (really didn't feel like cooking ) I went expecting to have food cooked in from of me and was super excited. I realized this was a sit in restaurant that don't cook in front of you. I was a little disappointed but it was fine. The food looked amazing but I wasn't too impressed. I wanted more flavor and it kind of lacked it. The customer service was truly amazing and wish this type was everywhere! I will go back and try something different, but go check them out for yourself!

Hibachi Chicken with Fried Rice and Hibachi Vegetables

A very nice place to stop in and have a good experience and enjoy delicious food. The atmosphere is bright, staff are friendly. We had excellent service. I had the chicken hibachi with fried rice and hibachi vegetables. The food was so delicious that I didn't want to have any sauce. I would highly recommend The Hibachi Pit.

Great atmosphere and the food was fantastic. The menu was laid out in a simple format to build your own bowl or plate with the ability to choose your protein, carb, veg and sauce. We got bowls and the portions were large enough for two meals. The service was impeccable as well.

Three headed dragon with broccoli and 1/2 fried rice 1/2 noodles

This review is for takeout only. I ordered online and picked up my food about 30-40 min later at the pickup counter towards the back. The process was super simple. I should have looked in my bag before I left because they gave me 4 yum yum sauces instead of the 2 mustard sauces I selected. Don't get me wrong the yum yum sauces is ok but I like to switch up the flavors when I dip my meats and veggies. Plus I love mustard sauces and so I was disappointed. I ordered the three headed dragon with 1/2 fried rice and 1/2 noodles. The fried rice was on point but the noodles were lacking. Flavor wise it was decent but they were plain. I ended up adding soy sauce to it. They could have jazzed it up a bit with some green onions or something. The filet mignon was not bad but wasn't medium well like I had selected. The shrimp was perfect and served with the tail on. The chicken is a cut of chicken breast and cubed. They both were good. Idk how I ended up selecting no mushrooms bc I love mushrooms so I'll have to make sure I get those next time. For my veggie I did broccoli which pairs great with the ginger sauce. Overall this place is good. I'd order takeout again but will check my bag before leaving next time. They had limited seating and do not cook the food in front of you but tons of parking.

This is my second time eating from The Hibachi Pit. The food is always flavorful and hot. The service is good. The young lady, Cassidy, that took my order was very nice and helpful with a few things I asked about. The restaurant is always clean. This is a good place for families. I saw several with small children who were all enjoying themselves. I will continue to go here when I want Hibachi because I have not been disappointed.

I was quickly seated and served my food, it was not very busy however on this Saturday @6:30pm. The food was okay. I've seen in other reviews that the meat wasn't cooked well and I agree. Really tough chicken. It tasted good at first then after each bite I was less and less interested. I left thinking I wish I ate anywhere else for $20.

Hibachi pit is so underrated, honestly I've never gotten anything from there that wasn't very good and packed with flavor. This time I tried the wings and as per usual they were amazing. I also really appreciate the different entrees that available from seafood to chicken and beef. Please give them a try.

This place has huge portions. My favorite is the teriyaki noodles and the hibachi shrimp. The egg roll was good it had a nice spicy kick too it. The beef hibachi flavor was good. The fried rice and the hibachi chicken were good but it was slightly too salty for me. Next time I am going to try the sauces. Everyone was friendly and the service was quick.

We place large orders every time we go, always tipping well, as the wait staff were fantastic. Tonight I called and ordered like I always do, and my sister went and picked it up. I noticed the bags and containers were different, portions were much smaller, and most upsetting, the Pink Lady roll I always get had spicy tuna mash in the middle instead of the normal whole salmon (which has always been my absolute favorite). I tasted it, realized what it was, and was disgusted. To me, spicy tuna is inedible, so I took it back to be remade, thinking that it was a simple mistake. Upon arriving, there is a new girl at the counter, and I inform her my roll was made incorrectly. She looked at it and said, "No, that's a Pink Lady." Since I had never seen her before, I assumed she was new and didn't know what she was talking about, so I told her I've been coming here for over 10 years, this isn't a Pink Lady. She then informs me that the menu has changed due to a change in ownership from the old owners to their son. So I glance at the new menu and I'm like oooookkk, so the Pink Lady is different now. Can I have the rolls remade the way I would like them please? She walks back to talk to who, I assume, is the owner, and she comes back saying that they will remake them the old way. So I'm like ok, thank you, just for my clarification, when I call in the future, how do I order to get my favorite roll, as I do not like spicy tuna. She goes back to talk to who I assume is the owner, taking a long time, before returning and saying, "This is how the menu is now, there is no way to make the modifications you want as we do not want to confuse the new sushi chef, he has only been trained on the new menu and there is simply no way to make any modifications." It was in that moment I knew I wouldn't be returning to my favorite restaurant. The interaction was very rude and dismissive and I was not informed of the change of ownership or menu changes when I called to place the order either. I don't know if it's lesser quality ingredients, inexperienced staff, cutting corners, or just the general way customers are treated during this change, but me and many more people I know will not be returning, and I've seen other people reviewing similar unsatisfied experiences. I miss it the way it was, and it's crushing to know it will never be the same. If I were the old owners who had built this into the thriving family business it has always been, I would be disappointed at the current reviews.

Noodle entree explicitly had vegetarian choices but most of the rice dishes had some or other meat. While they were flexible to change the ingredient but I wish they made the rice vegetables and specific meats to add just as the left side. You get plenty of it for either a lunch or dinner portion, but I'm missing flavor. I did have the basic chicken and broccoli, but I've had chicken and broccoli from other places where the sauce is GREAT. Here, the sauce isn't horrible but it also isn't memorable. Same goes for the fried rice. I had to doctor it up to get some flavor. And I'll say it again here, I think their sushi is amazing, but I've yet to get a main dish that wows me with unmatched flavor I can't get anywhere else.
