I truly enjoy this place! Great food at an amazing price! Plus I really like the sushi, which is made to order! The sushi is also a great deal! I am different but really like the veggie roll! They have an insane take-out business but you can eat-in and I high recommend doing so. if i could give zero stars i would. I ordered 6 rolls an wasn't able to eat. I tried one piece of each and it was uneaten i had to spit out. The sushi rice was mushy the seaweed was old tasting. AN THE RAW FISH WAS tasted horrible. The salmon was not the right color tasted fishy and old. Do not order the sushi. Grubhub compensated me back for it thank god. Had to order a whole new food. We really enjoyed this place! This location looks like a tiny hole in the wall, but it has really good food! The guy behind the counter was very patient with us, and answered all of our questions. We each ordered the chicken teriyaki. I loved how we got to pick the rice and the veggies that come with it. So many times there are just standard veggies, most of which I do not like, so this was good. You got to choose from broccoli, mushrooms, zucchini, and onions. I chose just mushrooms this time, but will be adding zucchini next time! And they ask if you want the sweet carrots with it (so as not to waste), and who doesn't want the carrots?!? We sat inside. There was cucumber in my sushi roll AND the "crab" salad was maybe 1/4 crab meat that was lazily cubed up over a bed of julienned CUCUMBERS. The best tasting thing was the spring rolls and even then they were practically cold when they got here. Glad I at least tried this place when my go-to was closed. It used to be different owners from what I've heard- and never seemed to be open- so we always just kept driving....but we noticed a change and finally tried it! This is a quick grab and go hibachi place in a small plaza, right on 49 near 49 yard line bar. There's a few tables inside, but it seems like most of the business is "to go". They have the typical hibachi and teriyaki meals, but also had a "ichi" that says a white garlic sauce which I'd like to try! Portions were good, and food was on par with most places like this. They also have a sushi menu, which we may try next time! With the lack of options in Harrisburg, it's nice that we can stay in town to get some decent Japanese takeout. My husband likes the sushi. Hibachi and other dishes are OK. They don't do online ordering on Saturday, which you find out after you complete the whole order. They also often don't answer the phone at all during busy times. Going in is your best option to order. Every box includes a large section of of obviously canned, sweetened carrot coins, even if you don't request it...if they were fresh I would give them more stars because I love steamed vegetables. While I don't eat much Japanese, my family loves this place. You can miss it on HWY49 in Harrisburg, but it does a steady takeout business. The food deserves 5 stars but the service deserves less than 1. The woman at the register was rude and kept stepping back to flirt with a cook instead of answering the phone. So I think I started eating here almost a year ago when the owner of this place bought it from the owner of Ishi in University City. Since then, he's made a ton of improvements, and the food has always been delicious. Pretty decent prices, and the portions are huge. The steak and chicken hibachi meal is a pretty big dinner, and you can always call ahead and order and they'll have it ready in 5-10 mins.
