Went to the Hideaway on Mothers Day. Isn't that a day to especially treat "moms" with some niceness? No one there when we arrived early for breakfast. Food ok, but when we asked to have our coffee topped off, we were not told there was a $3.50 charge to do that!! I've never in my 71 years had to pay to get a refill on coffee! We dipped in here on a Friday afternoon and enjoyed yummy food, a nice on-tap selection and great service. Maddy was our waitress and she was very knowledgeable and bubbly. I ordered the nachos and there was plenty to share with my husband, who got the wings. I normally pick off the jalapeños and just enjoy the flavor they leave behind, without all of the heat of the actual pepper. However, the ones on my nachos were sliced so thin, I decided to chance it. To my pleasant surprise, there was a nice hint of maybe cinnamon or? Maddy said that they pickle them right there so it's their hidden ingredient. Idk what it was but it was good! I stopped going there a few months ago because of the horrible treatment I received from the manager when I told her my poached eggs were hard. One of our go to spots for food and drinks! Especially if we want to watch a game during football season. They have SO many TVs with multiple games on and a section with couches. Food and drinks are awesome. Specifically their pizzas and salads! What really shines is the service. Particularly, whenever we're served by this amazing server named Brittany. We went in last night for the UFC fights we paid $10 and thought it was for the whole fight not just dinner The waitress kept asking us if we were done and kept taking our stuff I had one glass of wine and it took 20 minutes to get it and she came back twice to ask the what kind .... definitely felt like we were being pushed out .... I am blown away from the few bad reviews! My husband and I are very picky. We decided to give this place a try and we were not disappointed at all. The food here is so good! I love the pizza sticks, and the buffalo cauliflower is my favorite! We have been back there a few times and the food has always been consistently tasty. There are not many place in Redmond that I like, maybe a few that I will eat, but most of the food is just okay or not good at all. The blonde girl working as a server and hostess tonight turned a potential 1 star experience into a 5 star. If management is reading this, I didn't catch her name but she was working at 9pm on Saturday night and she is great at her job. I came by to pick up my Uber Eats order after a 10 hour day of driving on a road trip and they had no record of my order. I was exhausted and hungry and showed her my receipt and she apologized profusely and in spite of clearly being quite busy with tables, she got the order in rushed it, was extremely apologetic, and the food was delicious.
