Unless you're a Local and a regular, don't bother going. Totally different vibe than the wonderful Hideaway restaurant in Bend. This place caters only to regulars. Been there six or seven times trying to give it a good try since I moved from Bend to Redmond, will never go there again. I will make the drive to Bend any day of the week to go to the Hideaway in Bend. Great atmosphere in Bend, great crowd, great interactions. So disappointed in Redmond. Horrible customer service. Waited to get a table outside since we had our dog with us. Stood for about 5-10 minutes without being acknowledged. When a table finally opened we were told a table inside was waiting to sit outside and we could go to their patio. We have been a few times now and really love this place. Reminds us of a our favorite place back home. Food is good....atmosphere is pretty chill. It is a little weird when you go in new and you feel a little out of place because they really do treat regulars a bit different...maybe we need to be regulars! Also...when you come in and have to wait for a table...you can see in the kitchen. As we were waiting we saw a girl in the kitchen with glasses, with no mask putting her hand right into a tub of some sort of food and eating it right there. That was a little disturbing, given the place we are in right now. But let's hope that was a fluke. Breakfast was amazing! Lots of TV's. Went for a birthday breakfast with a group of friends. The waitress was friendly and when she got tied up the bartender came out and helped. I ordered the Huevos Rancheros and I found it tasty even though the salsa was very tomato based rather than spicy. I found it to be fairly priced for the amount of food (I find most breakfast food overpriced in general). The manmosa was good and $11 for a pint glass size. The biscuits and gravy with carnitas that came to the table looked amazing! Large biscuit and sausage gravy with large chunks of sausage. Didn't get to taste it but no complaints by the owner of the meal. In fact no one complained about their meal. The waitress willingly split our bill despite there being 8 of us, without us asking but by her offering. Great venue to watch sports on comfy chairs and coaches. I do like that there is a separate bar area, unlike the Bend location. We moved to the bar after breakfast to play Golden Tee and found excellent service in there too. We were here last weekend. We went against the reviews and went in because they really do have an awesome TV set up. The food was really good. There was a large group of us 6 adults 3 kids. It was full but there was enough staff on to support it. We had full meals, beers, Bloody Mary's... we spent over a couple of hundred dollars. The food was great. The drinks were good. And the waitress was not rude. The service just sucked. From forgetting our drinks, ordering our food, no refills on waters or sodas for the kids, brought the check before we were done... took plates before we were done. We even got the wrong bill back with someone else's credit card and they got ours. We had planned on settling in and drinking for the game. We were in and out in under an hour because the service sucked and well brought us the bill before ever asking for even a round two of drinks. We would have been good customers. And easy customers. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS PLACE AND THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING HERE!! Very greedy management it seems like! First off the food isn't worth the price they think (14-16 bucks for a burger, 18 bucks for small pizza). The bar and beers are ok even though the bartenders don't know what beers they are and seem to just read from the menu just like you can as a customer. Be prepared to pay 8 dollars for a beer. The last horrible very unethical thing that this place does is during UFC fights they promote a 10 dollar cover charge and then when you get there early to save a seat they tell you it will be 20 dollars instead for your seat and not the 10 dollars that is advertised (false advertisement much??). Don't waste your time many more local places you can go that will treat you right and your money goes alot further. IF YOU LIKE LOUD SPORTS BARS AND PAYING TOO MUCH FOR SO-SO FOOD AND DRINKS, THEN THIS IS YOUR PLACE. If you are in to hanging out in loud sports bars watching pretty much nothing but football, high-fiving with your bros, and like to pay a lot of for average bar food, you should check out the Hideaway in Redmond. I was a semi-frequent customer of the former Dawg House which had pretty decent food and atmosphere. They also catered to the sports fans, although not at the caliber of the Hideaway. We often ate lunch or dinner here. I am not a sports fan and do not go to restaurants/bars to watch TV, so it being changed to a sports bar didn't really matter much to me. Since it is local, and the food, service, etc. was okay before, we wanted to give it a shot. First try was breakfast. We are always up for breakfast out on the weekend and were excited about a new breakfast restaurant. But when we showed up shortly after they advertised opening, we were greeted at the door and told they weren't open yet. Okay, no big deal. Running behind schedule or whatever. There are lots of other breakfast places in town. The next try was lunch. The restaurant was pretty empty, so it was quiet. I was disappointed that a lot of the original food items were gone, but my usual, the roasted beet salad, was still there. The staff were still messing around with the TV's and installation and there were electronics in boxes sitting around the room. No big deal really, but a tad unprofessional. The service, which was typically good, wasn't so great on this day. But we didn't give it too much thought. The atmosphere just didn't feel the same, so we don't go out of our way to go there. We haven't been there in about 4 months or so until yesterday afternoon. Here is why we won't be back: It was about 1:00 pm and the place was absolutely packed due to all the games on TV. We contemplated going someplace else, but there was a small table in the bar and so we decided to stay. The bar, along with the rest of the restaurant, packed with football fans, as you can imagine, was very loud. Our waitress was doing her best to get the games on the TV everyone wanted to watch and in doing so also turned up the volume of the TV to compete with the patrons. It was overwhelmingly loud. We were sitting across from each other at a very tiny table and had to shout. I finally asked her if she could turn it down. She was able to turn it down a bit, which helped, but it was still so loud we could not carry on a conversation. She could tell we were not having a good experience and checked on us frequently. But we are the type of people who It's hard to mess up a salad, but our Reuben sandwich was a disaster. It was soggy, apparently from them not draining the sauerkraut before putting it on the bread, and then trying to grill it dry. It was falling apart in gooey clumps. Not appetizing at all. The whole experience was horrible and I wish we would have turned around and gone someplace else. Especially when we got the bill. Over $50 for just two of us. A salad, sandwich and two beers. Unless you really like the loud sports bar thing, and don't mind paying a lot for food and drinks, then I would suggest skipping this place. Not good. Generally good, always pricey. We come here to watch multiple football games. Today it was all set up, service a little slow. Then an off duty bartender drinking at the bar commanded the tv remotes and started changing channels, pissing off long time customers. Turns out he and his friends were more interested in their fantasy football than what other patrons wanted. Several of us told him we won't be back. I suspect the owner won't give a sh** either but since we drop $50 a week here maybe they'll miss the money. read more

The food here is delicious and the service is great! I got a bacon cheeseburger with crispy bacon and it was cooked perfectly and the fries are amazing. The portions are great if you are hungry and the environment is really fun. It gets loud on game nights but that's to be expected. read more
