I left it up to the spouse when it comes to this type of activity as it's not high on my priority list. I can't believe that the High Roller is taller than the London Eye (554' vs. 442' high). But, now I can say we've been on both! EXPERIENCE: To get the best of both worlds of seeing the landscape and city lights, we went on at dusk. There was no line at all. The pods can fit 40, but there were just 10 of us or so. Seating is available for around 16, size-depending. Several TV's showed the history of Las Vegas. The glass was clean and photos came out decent. It takes 30 minutes to go around. TIP: One or some of the pods have alcohol bars in them. While the High roller ride was a 5 star, the payment processing was unpleasant. Regarding refund request 19737915 My wife and I were in Las Vegas and wanted to ride the High Roller feris wheel. We were required to use the Feverup online payment app. When we logged in to the UI, apparently I accidently added 1 general admission ticket. I continued and added my wife and I as seniors. When I completed the payment process, I told the High Roller staff of the error (paid for 3 seats, using 2 seats). Staff told me that I need to reach out to Feverup and ask for a refund on the unused ticket. I did reach out to Feverup and received the following reply (TLDR; " strictly non-refundable"). ------------------------------ Thanks for your message. We've looked into your case and, unfortunately, the tickets you have purchased are strictly non-refundable or amendable. If I could give 10 stars I would! There were 4 of us and we wanted one of the "bar cars." I had done this experience twice before and both times were very positive. We went early on a Friday , ( much, much more crowded on a Saturday.). We had thought about buying the tickets on Groupon, but we waited until the day we were going and they were no longer available. We decided to go anyway. (Still worth it!) We arrived shortly after noon and it wasn't busy at all. I believe there was only one bar car at that time and we were crossing our fingers that there wouldn't be many more people who showed up for it. We went early and lucked out! There were 6 passengers in our car! Our bartender was Kevin and he was pleasant and accommodating. They have several kinds of beer, several kinds of wine and all different kinds of liquor, (some name brands too like Malibu, Captain Morgan, and Tito's.). I walked on the car, and immediately asked for a Malibu/diet. I had a few and then switched to margaritas. (They were delicious!). I think I had 5 drinks total in 30 minutes, and the men in our group had 8 or 9. (We definitely got our money's worth.). Kevin was great at pourin g quickly, pointing out Vegas highlights, and even snapping photos for us. The views are spectacular, and on a clear day you can see all of the Vegas Strip, the attractions, and the airport. When we reached the apex Kevin let us know and he then gave everyone his special shot which was made with Chambord. They were yummy! The High Roller is a great attraction; and for a few dollars more you can upgrade to the bar car. It's the world's tallest Ferris wheel and well worth the prince. On a clear day, or night, I've done that too, the view is spectacular! read more

Who doesn't want to go 550ft up in the air to catch a view of the Las Vegas Strip and the surrounding area?! We chose to go up for the night view to see all the lights, but I imagine a sunset view would be very pretty. We got our tickets (anytime) at a discount through Vegas.com. There is also discount tickets on Groupon as well, but I think through Groupon they are for Daytime only (must get on by 4:30pm). It takes roughly 30 minutes to make the full revolution (15 minutes up and 15 minutes down). Before you the entry to platform area on the second floor, there is a restroom to use if needed. There is also a bar where you can purchase drinks and popcorn to bring onto the ride. I have heard people were allowed to bring their own drinks on, but others have said they weren't allowed to. Each pod can support up to 40 people, but there were probably only 15-20 people in our pod (couple toddlers). They do have an option to purchase a Bar Pod (Happy Half Hour) where a party of up to 40 people can drink the whole time through the 30 minutes ride, but everyone has to be age 21+ and everyone in the party needs to purchase the Happy Half Hour ticket. The pods were air conditioned and temperature was very comfortable. There are a handful of seats for those who want to sit, but most people are up and down walking around the pod to get a view of the city and the strip. If you are lucky, you get to see the Bellagio Dancing Fountains show from up top. You also get a great view of The Sphere from the High Roller. Im not sure how often they wipe down the seats and the windows in the pods as there are tons of handprints on the windows, so your pictures may not turn out as clear as you would like unless you wipe the window yourself. Overall, this should be something you should do at least once. I'm not sure I would pay full price to ride this, but definitely try Vegas.com and Groupon for discount tickets. read more

This is a great stop for tourists. You get a view of the strip and the rest of Las Vegas. I do recommend to go in the evening because the lights sparkle so much better at night. This is the best way to see Vegas. The tickets are a bit pricey in my opinion because it's only a thirty minute ride. We have never done the bar ride because it seems pointless on a thirty minute ride. We are locals and we're planning on there being a local discount but they removed the discount. We obviously went anyway because our friends were first time Vegas tourists. It's a slow ride to the top and you can barely feel the movement. You have 360 degree views and can stand, walk around in your round Linq cabin, or sit. We did get to see the Bellagio Fountains going off and the Linq has the best view of the Sphere. It was so much fun to watch the Sphere changing images and giving a show. That was a perfect placement of both. You will enjoy seeing Vegas from the Linq. A must do especially for first time visitors. read more

My husband and I went here Thanksgiving evening at around 7pm. Spent about 30 minutes in line. They have you stop to take a souvenir picture in weird poses while everyone stares at you which we knew we didn't want to do. We asked if we could skip taking ours and received a little bit of attitude back but she lets us bypass. We get on with two other groups both of which had screaming young uncontrolled children about 15 of us in one pod together. The floor was covered in popcorn and the seats were sticky. The windows were absolutely filthy. The ride itself was smooth and it took another 28 minutes from when we got on until we got off. The view was...nice? I wouldn't say stunning or gorgeous but nice. We get off the ride and are waiting for all these kids and their parents to move ahead towards the exit and a worker was very rude in ushering us along. We simply said we were waiting for them ahead to go and that they were a lot. By the look he gave us it appeared he did not like that response and then proceed to talk crap about us as we walked away. Did I enjoy this experience? Not really. Would have I with different circumstances? Perhaps. Would I do it again? No. read more

My friend and I purchased the two day Vegas pass and this ride was one of the options. We walked on and redeemed our ticket with no issues. The roller ride looks like some modern capsule. Once inside the roller, you don't even feel like you're moving. However, your views outside look different and the higher you go the more you go oooh and aaah at the views. You really don't feel like you're moving but your surroundings outside definitely change. We took some cool pictures of different sides. The ride is relaxing and pretty cool. One of my favorite attractions in Vegas. As a Caesar's Diamond member we get two free tickets per month and our own check in line. This place is also super friendly towards those with wheelchairs. Protip: the total ride is 30 minutes, meaning 15 mins to the top. I like to time getting to the top (skip the photo op) with a Bellagio fountain show which starts every 15 minutes from 7p to midnight. read more

We came just before noon because it was advertised as being open at noon. Then the website said 12:30 even though signs out front still said 12. They would not let people inside despite the line being in direct sun and it being 104 outside. A woman went over and asked why and was not given an answer and told there was a "delay" and they didn't know when they would open. They still wouldn't let people in to the ample indoor area. When we finally got in, there was no explanation as to the delay, and everyone was pissed that we were made to stand outside in the heat. Getting on or off the ride, you have to basically run or jump because it doesn't stop, which is fine for most, but how do elderly or less stable in their feet people do this? We only had 10 people on our car, so there was plenty of room. I wondered why the video didn't really say anything of interest (it was mostly ads) until just before the top. It's an okay view, but 30 minutes in it pales in comparison to the miserable wait. I would not have gone had I known about much of this. read more

This was a great find on a walk while in Vegas. I wanted to get away from the crowded streets, and meandered down the LINQ. Here was the high roller observation wheel. When I find myself traveling, I enjoy these wheels and the visibility over the city I'm visiting. Also the LINQ was more my speed with the quality shops and restaurants. This review is solely for the bartender, Jeremy. In only a five minute interaction, he was by far one of the best servers, and if his personality at work is the same off work, best people, ever. It's the simple interactions: 1. Immediate smile and greeting. 2. I asked for water and he asked if I wanted the bottle or a cup (a win because seems like establishment here wants to nickel and dime us) 3. My wife asked if they have mocktails. He said yes and explained her options. 4. Then the icing on the cake was he was smiling and chatting with our 3 and 1 year old. He gave them a little mini sphere toy. My son Immediately dropped it. Our Uber driver suggested this last minute while we were complaining about spending the whole day in Vegas being checked out of our hotel waiting for our flight. Turns out this was one of the best experiences I had during the week! Views were insane, the ride is a full 30 mins with the screens inside the pod telling you fun facts. We got our tickets on Expedia, a much better deal than directly on the main website. Around sunset felt like a good time to go. We didn't do the happy hour version where the tickets are pricier with the bar tender on board. Unlimited drinks wouldn't make sense in 30 mins when there's enough to do to enjoy views and take photos. Hours- 12pm-2am Friday-Sunday 12pm-12am Monday through Thursday Tickets-12 -5pm $29 Nights- $39 for adults. The only negative is they can change prices on higher volume days. You can also book Happy Hour cabins which includes open bar and bartender. These tickets start at $69. Outside drinks are allowed in the cabins No cash accepted at the bar or to purchase tickets. Terrible customer service. I definitely don't think this attraction is worth the price. Maybe if it's free I'd go again. I like the engineering design of the attraction but everything else falls short. The views are nice. It's 15 minutes to the top, 15 minutes back down. You get in line and then there's a green screen where you take photos. They give you this slip that has two barcodes on it. They told me that after 48 to 72 hours I could scan the photos to check them and if I'd like them I could purchase them. I scanned the barcodes during the ride. One did not work one did. The side that worked also had instructions on it for the buyer. After the ride they also have an area where you could look at your photos to see if you wanted to purchase them. I never like to purchase in a hurry and I had both my young kids with me. Well the lady at the booth offered to show us the picture and she seems nice at first but boy was I wrong. When I decided to change my mind and just view the photos at home ( kids wanted snacks go to the bathroom, if you have kids you understand) well she wouldn't give me the barcode slip back. She only wanted to give me the one that I already tried and it did not load for me. When I politely asked for the other one back she refused and said no. When I went to grab my paper she told me that was her space and her ticket and I had no right. Well she was very confrontational. Raised her voice at me and clearly has issues. Whether it was racist or not remains a mystery. I just want to say that was my photo ticket not hers. I don't know why she's claiming it's her property all of a sudden and I have no rights to have it back? It clearly wasn't. But I wasn't in a mood to argue or waste my precious time on the trip. She also refused to let me read the words on the ticket that said I could scan the barcode using my smartphone and it might take 48 to 72 hours after I rode the attraction to load. There was no reasoning with this lady but she should not be working there and I hardly say that about anyone when I have received bad service. Her rude attitude and disrespect for customers definitely lost photo sales for the company. Her lack of empathy, compassion and listening also rubbed me off in such a way I'm actually posting a review. let's just say I had a blast in Vegas but this is the one thing I regret doing. It's been a couple years since I've been on the High Roller and thought it be nice to get a high up view of the sphere. I arrived just as it was getting dark so that meant great views of all the lights. If you're in a large group it would probably be fun to order the pod with the bartender, but a regular pod is just fine as well. I would suggest getting tickets ahead of time so that you don't have to stop. The high roller does not stop unless special assistance is needed to get on. Otherwise, they just keep going very slowly and it takes about 30 minutes to fully go around. The views certainly did not disappoint. read more

You don't get your money's worth. For four people it was like $150 for a 27 minute ride. What they don't tell you is that the windows are so dirty you can barely see. All of our pictures had streaks. We showed management and they said they will look into it, but who knows if that will change. It's cool to say you did it, but even if the windows were clean it felt grossly overpriced. If they put some advertisements on the TVs inside they could easily reduce the prices for the customers while still generating revenue. read more

It's cool... but it's not that cool. We hopped on thinking it'd be some wild Vegas moment. What we got felt more like a slow-burn thriller in the sky. No drinks in our pod. No music. Just quiet panic once we started moving. People were posted by the glass like they wanted the view... then slowly backed away and clutched the rails like it was a middle school trust exercise. Nobody warned us this thing doesn't stop. It's one slow lap... but the silence makes it feel like a full therapy session. At one point, it got so quiet we started unpacking childhood trauma. Some girl said she was done with rides forever. And meant it. Yeah, the view is fire. Vegas looks cinematic from that high up. But the real plot twist? The photos cost as much as the tickets. We paid nearly $200 to be scared of heights in slow motion and still got suckered into buying the proof. That's how they get you. I'm not mad I did it. But I'm not racing back unless there's tequila, a playlist, and a group hyped to laugh through the fear. It's giving... therapy with a skyline view. The High Roller is an impressive 550 foot observation wheel. The 28 air-conditioned passenger cabins are enclosed by handcrafted Italian glass, where one revolution takes about 30 minutes. It's a great relief with the hot summer weather! It goes pretty slow so just take the time to enjoy!! The cabins are pretty big and you can move around to check all the different panoramic views of the city. It's prettier at night with the lights and views of the Sphere all illuminated. It does get a bit of a glare on the windows when trying to take pictures. It's located at the heart of the Las Vegas Strip inside the LINQ Promenade. Went on the Highroller at Linq, during my recent trip to Vegas, at night, to take in the vibes of the city and see the lights from above. The lines were quick when purchasing tickets online in advance (for anytime or within time slots), and we proceeded swiftly through to the observation wheel. Safety is clearly taken as a priority here, and the High roller is cleaned and checked every morning. The ride is smooth, gradual, and goes very high up. The views are amazing and there's plenty of space! We were lucky enough to only be sharing the "deck" we were on with 4 other people. Lots of space to view and walk around. Through the ride, upbeat music and information is provided to you by the sound system creating a dynamic experience. Really cool but probably won't go in it again. Great for at least once, at night, with a great view of the Sphere. Highly recommend at least once, and would be great for kids! read more

I am not a fan of heights, so when my friends suggested this, I was a bit apprehensive. We went for the bar / drinks included option. The experience was definitely a great one. We went at about 6 pm. This provided us an amazing view of the sunset as well as the moon rising over the desert. Really lovely ! Our bartender Kyle was quite the gentleman. He made me a coconut rum, ginger-ale lime juice and pineapple juice drink. It was delightful! Second drink, he made with less pineapple. Bingo. Perfect. He made a third for the 'road'.
