I had not submitted any work orders and did not receive any written or verbal notice that anyone would be entering my unit. Immediately after the incident, I contacted the leasing office. When I spoke with Lindia, my concerns were dismissed and the conversation shifted toward blaming me, despite my explanation that I still have the original keys issued at move in. Given my background in property management, I understand that maintenance staff commonly carry master keys for access. The individual appeared to be maintenance personnel. After waiting approximately 15 minutes to speak with a manager, I spoke with Shayla. She stated that it would be "impossible" for maintenance to have entered my unit because she has known them for a long time. When I requested corporate contact information to escalate the matter, she refused to provide any corporate details aside from a phone number. The voicemail for that number is automatically directed to Nick, who was already physically present in the office when I initially called. This effectively prevented me from escalating the issue beyond the on site staff. Her only response during the call was, "What do you want me to do?" I had to request that the locks be changed immediately. The handling of this situation was unacceptable. My safety concerns were minimized rather than investigated. The appropriate response should have included immediate verification of who accessed my unit, documentation of the incident, and prompt action to secure my home

I had to break my lease due to a family emergency and informed management in writing, yet they made no real effort to re-rent my unit until four months later. Then, without warning or explanation, they sent me to collections for an outrageous amount. Completely unprofessional and unethical. Avoid renting from them at all costs. I have never had such a weird, negative experience from a company. At 9900 Memorial I tried several times to contact the Manager to inform her of my family emergency and discuss options. Her name is Tammy and she never got back to me. My apartment was rented by my friend who initiated the lease on it. Now, I am trying to contact a woman Ms. Tito at the Finger's corporate office to discuss the creditors issue as they say I owe nearly 8,000$ which is totally inaccurate. She, too, is not responding to my emails. And this all has happened six months after I moved (had to move out of TX, leave my teaching job to another state up North; that is how dire my situation was/is).

I wanted to bring this matter as it gets out of hand. Mrs. Medel is extremely rude , disrespectful and mean. She discriminates people based on their race, age, sex and accent. Besides that, she never answers the phone, email and avoid dealing with her direct duties regarding maintenance and property issues. She is never in the office and never follows up on anything. She shows no signs of concern to address her resident's issues. Every time we are able to catch her at the work place - she is always on her phone, no eye contact, speaks in the sarcastic manner and clearly lacking any sort of professional knowledge or skills.
