I was struggling for over 45 minutes trying to put it back on, and these guys stepped in without hesitation. They were more than willing to help, and after getting it fixed, Don even took the time to give us helpful tips so we don't run into that issue again. Great customer service and genuine people really appreciate you both! However it is a poor design and for the Edger and anyone that does buy it the would need the replacement part of the upgraded head for the edger. read more

We have been slowly moving away from Home Depot, it started when we bought a new house we needed a refrigerator, but the models on their floor had busted handles, broken shelves. We were really turned off. But after not getting help and now rude Customer Service we are fully dedicated to moving from them, at it was easier than we thought. We replaced our Traeger with a Pit Boss and love it, the outdoor furniture is better elsewhere. I really thought I would miss BEHR paint, I was very loyal. But Sherwin Williams, while more expensive, is the epitome of you get what you pay for. Other stores carry Craftsman and have better help. We also got onto reward programs so when we replace large appliances at other retailers. Now we won't even go there for a simple repair or a furnace filter. We simply refuse to put up with technically lacking staff and rude customer service. read more

Came in as a representative of a nonprofit organization. One of the managers, Tim, was fantastic and quickly offered our organization a gift card to help support an event we have coming up. Though he was busy with interviews and meetings that week, he was able to process our paperwork and called me to come back in to pick up. I didn't make it in for about a week, but he had informed the other managers so when I came in it was quick and easy. Had my voucher in hand. Turned out I needed to place an order for store pickup and the employee, James, was quick to help me. He was able to get my order figured out and placed for store pickup within a couple days, while also redeeming my voucher and accommodating our tax exempt status. We went in for some garden plants... and decided to look at counter tops and a cook top as we have 20 year old laminate counters and a broken cook top. While just window shppping, the 2 support folks were amazing! They worked with us to look at affordable options... and by the end, with sales and different options, we were able to find something that will look awesome in our kitchen, give our counters a modern look and not break the bank! I like Home Depot for the fact that they do have a nice selection in their greenhouse and really do cater to the DIYer. Noticed the service has been on the decline for awhile now. I couldn't find anyone to help me with the bagged river rock and it is heavy! I ended up loading 6 bags by myself so it proved to be a good workout I guess. Friendly tip: Take heed of the prices when checking out. Before heading to the cashier, take a photo of the price tag(s) on the bins for proof. When the cashier rung me up, the register noted the price of $5.47 but the bin noted $4.98. Not a huge difference but it does buy one a hot dog and chips at the food truck. read more

This is by far the worst Home Depot I've ever set foot in. There is always crap all over the place. You can barely navigate a cart around the store. There's never enough wood stocked where it should be and it's just overall poorly managed. This does come down to management. This is management's fault. I've been in here five or six times in the past two weeks and I've just never been more frustrated. A mess everywhere carts everywhere and there's barely anyone shopping in there. I had to get a replacement from the manufacturer. Ok. So I ordered a refrigerator from this location. Everything was great until they delivered the appliance. The door swing was incorrect. Mistake on their part as I told them what to do when I ordered it. The install people said they could change it but it was missing a specific part. I told them to wait and I'll call Home Depot to get the part. Turns out they want to charge me 50$ for the part, which is not right as it should have been there all along. I refuse to pay for the part and have been given the "run-around". I've talked to 5 different people about this issue, all of whom have been ZERO help. This Home Depot is right around the bend from my house and so it is my go-to home improvement store. If it wasn't so close, my guess is I wouldn't frequent this particular location. Here is the deal, if you need to run in and get some screws or light bulbs you are golden. In and out with no problem. If you actually need HELP or someone to interact with you, well you are shit out of luck! We have gone there twice in the last 6 months to make major purchases (over 1K both times) and I swear we had to practically beg to get someone to help us! In fact we ended up going to another Home Depot in Parker to buy our washer/dryers and we decided to go another way with our flooring - all because of their lack of service at this location. It is really a shame, because it is convenient to our home and the store itself is clean and well stocked. read more

6:30-7:00pm tonight tried to find an associate to cut plywood for us. From one end of the store to the other no associates, just several of us looking for help in various departments. Asked the window person twice to page someone- she did once. Asked a young person at the front of the store- it was her 1st day but she brought me to the manager. The female mngr w/ long dark hair and glasses couldn't have cared less. Called someone- they were on break. Her response was there's no one to help you. I asked if she knew the saw code she said no. Extremely poor management to not at the least see when someone would be back, or to offer an apology for the inconvenience, or the even acknowledge the poor scheduling situation. Truly did not care when I walked away. Simply turned around and continued talking to 2 other female staff at the customer account desk. As we left another gentleman who had been looking for plumbing help was asking a cashier what parts she thought he needed. So apparently the plumbing department was on break this entire time with the wood department, the lighting department and the key cutting (heard them paged) and the tool rental cafe (also heard them paged). Imagine just needing to ask a question about a base color White that does not even need mixing and being overlooked 30 minutes! The girl working there looked all of 16 or so. This location did a great job of rehiring horrible staff and really cleaning up their act a couple years ago. But, I'm afraid they are back to their old ways. I recently went there and had questions about a possible French door installation. Keith was incredibly rude and spoke in such a condescending manner, I'm shocked he's even allowed to interact with customers. I know nothing about doors and didn't appreciate being made to feel like an idiot. This is why I'm asking the "experts" at Home Depot. If you hate your job Keith, then find something new, but don't take it out on customers. I'm taking my business to Lowes from now on. read more

Where to start? Bought an Electrolux dryer in April. Didn't seem to work very well. After a couple of weeks, I called Home Depot to get it serviced and was told that unless the unit was damaged and I reported it within 48 hours of installation, they would neither replace it or service it (news to me, and I read *everything* before making any purchase). I was told to call Electrolux and get their contracted repair company to come out. Three or four visits and six weeks later, the dryer has had a heating part replaced (made no difference), but still had problems on every cycle with drying and timing. Finally, two days ago, it started emitting a horrible smell. I called Xcel Energy and they confirmed no gas leak anywhere, but that the dryer did smell like Diesel fuel! The repair guy came out the following day and was here for two or three hours, calling Electrolux multiple times, who talked to him like he was an idiot, saying that the smell he was smelling was definitely gas, but that he was probably using "different terms" to describe it. I disputed the charges with my credit-card company (Citibank -- a Home Depot card) and am getting the paperwork from the repair company to support my claim that Home Depot failed to honor its warranty--breach of contract, plain and simple--and in the unlikely event that Electrolux would screw up this badly on another dryer (I own the washer, which is great, and the two form a stackable set, which I like having), I've ordered the same one from Lowe's. read more

Called home depot.com and after a 50 minute wait on hold they told me they would just need to call the store themselves and never got anybody to answer the phone. When I finally got my order delivered part of the order was not there only to find out some one cancels those items and never bother to tell me until I looked it up on the website. If you go to the garden center and ask for help from the blue/purple haired woman with glasses named Stephanie, forget it and go somewhere else. This person has a real attitude and a serious communication problem. Plus she addresses customer as "honey." Disrespectful, extremely rude, and disappointing customer service. She certainly doesn't demonstrate that she values customers or her job. Even more disappointing is the Operations Manager, who makes no apology for Stephanie's rudeness. You'd think that with Lowe's just a mile down the road, the staff here would try harder. Next time, if the item I need isn't at Lowe's, I'll go anywhere but to this Home Depot. read more

I can't tell you how 'disappointed' I am in the service provided by this store, which I always shopped at vs. the Lowe's 1 mile away... I purchased a refrigerator and from the moment it was delivered, there was multiple issues... At one point, I believe he was the manager or supervisor of the appliance department verbally told me 'don't worry, having a repairman come out to look at my less than 1 week old refrigerator is just a formality, you WILL be getting a replacement'..... well after the repairman came out I was told 'this model of Whirlpool has a loud motor'...WOW. When you have to bump up the sound on your TV in the next room when the 'loud/but "normal sound" for about 5-7% these model refrigerators' there's a problem with the refrigerator... I have now had it for just over 30 days and have a 2nd repair call scheduled for next week as I have been monitoring for 3 days at different times of the day the temperature of the water that comes out of the door which ranges from 62.4 - 74.9 degrees. Next problem and I honestly thought this would take a long time to resolve but actually, the 3rd party delivery company took much better care of me than did Home Depot who was horrible. The 3rd party delivery company damaged my hardwood floors quite good. They had a representative come out and look at the damage and in about 7-10 days, they resolved the problem very professionally. I thought for sure this would end up in small claims court...surprised me. It's no wonder physical stores are having such trouble and declaring bankruptcy... is service - you must have excellent service to compete with 'Amazon'..... the day Amazon starts to sell appliances directly (not via 3rd party sellers) I will start buying my appliances thru them. I have been an Amazon customer since 7/30/2003 and they have ALWAYS taken excellent care of me as their customer and believe there have been lots of 'issues' over the past 16 years, but unlike Home Depot, I would rate their service 5 stars all the way... read more

This used to be a great store. My recent attempt to purchase $800 in landscaping material was a disaster. Ordered on the phone. The guy in lawn and garden tried to convince me to purchase on line even though product was not available online. He finally transferred me to customer service. They took my order and scheduled delivery. Delivery day arrives. When delivery was not made by 7 pm, I tried for an hour to reach someone. Customer service and the store manager never picked up despise numerous calls. I drove 40 miles to talk to customer service. They were aware of a telephone issue, but had no plans to address it. They did explain that the order, due to being 3 stepping stones short, had been transferred among three stores and deliver was delayed three days. No one ever called me after the order was placed. Meanwhile, I'm paying hourly workers to wait. I purchased better quality materials at the same price and received free same day delivery from Ace Hardware. read more

DO NOT use this store for any flooring. We have run into lack of care and lack of communication at every step in the process. The initial measurement scheduling was messed up and delayed, the transfering of information from the 3rd party measuring company to the store was delayed and inaccurate, the store process for ordering the carpet was delayed, and now the scheduling of the actual installation is delayed. We are now 3 weeks behind our planned installation date and delayed with moving into our new house. Throughout this whole process people from the store have been ignoring requests for call backs and provided no explanation of why so many issues have happened. If you care at all about meeting a timeline then expect for them to take three times longer than the discussed timeline. When expressing how frustrating this process has become, the manager didnt even apologize and said they could just refund our money. After investing 3 weeks of our time and delaying our move, that is just not an acceptable response! As somebody who has been a Home Depot customer for many years, this is by far the most disappointing experience I have ever had. read more

We were there to rent the 20V Cordless Paint Sprayer and we rapidly got pushed to go higher and rent the higher lever of spray paint (around $80 difference). We were told that the one we wanted to rent, apparently, wouldn't work for what we wanted and needed a professional one (even though we are NOT professionals of the paint at all).... the sprayer itself was good, if you know how to prep and use it, I guess, but it was a complete mess for us, we had paint everywhere in the house. Also, even though we didn't even use it for 30 minutes we had to pay the whole 24h because Home Depot was closed that night and we had to return it next day... awful experience. Arrived at the store to have someone cut them but they ruined it. So requested a refund due to their mistake and workers accused me of stealing them and they cannot help me. They called the manager and she didn't know how to give a refund or work the system. After a 2 hour conversation battle, manager wrote on a piece of paper a discount. Went here this past weekend (Memorial Weekend) for the usual. Flowers, veggie plants and things to make a fairy garden with my daughters. Even with the amount of people there with the exact same idea as I had, it wasn't uncomfortably busy (thankfully the aisles are big). The cashiers are quick, getting people in and out on a timely manner while being polite and professional. All my plants look amazing in the new dirt and as we were leaving they had a free hot dogs, popcorn, otter pops and water for Memorial Day. My girls got to put something on the Memorial Tree for the families of soldiers and we had a great lunch. We live close to here and come in all the time. Great customer service everytime. read more
