Hopefully they get this repaired soon. I kinda really need my shelves lol

I called and asked if I could bring in a piece of wood to be cut and was told I could only to arrive and find out their saw was out of order and has been for over two months. I asked an associate for help he points to a hand saw station "...for [me] to do it myself ". At that point I gave up on the wood and head to get paint where I'm told the paint brand I want is not in stock in gallon or sample size. There were little to no available alternatives without holding up the ever growing line more than I already had. Check out though went surprisingly smooth.

They don't care about their plants!

How on earth does this Home Depot get away with this? They don't care about their plants they overwater them. They underwater them and they don't even take care of them, but they want to charge lots of money for them. It's a joke. They have killed ferns. How do they kill ferns? Ferns grow and volcanic ashes of these people can't even take care of any type of plants. It's sad and disgusting.

I practically live in Home Depot and lowes lol but it's rare that you go to one and actually have great service. When I go to this location, I'm helped and I'm in and out. Can't complain!

Good morning all. Let me tell you guys my experience I had this morning at Home Depot 03/14/20 08:20-25 AM. I went to buy a BOX of 3mil construction bags, I went to the express checkout to pay for the item I think it was 2nd or 3rd aisle, I completed the purchase but the receipt didn't come out. So I saw a sale attendant I asked her for help, So I told her I paid for the item but the receipt didn't come out, in her nasty Voice and shook her head right to left and asked me DID YOU "REALLY" PAY FOR THE ITEM! I WAS SHOCKED. I admittedly placed the Box down on the counter, I grab my phone to show her my debit card purchase, I didn't get the chance to show her because she's realized that the receipt was jammed in the machine, as soon as she received the receipt, she turned around and told me she's sorry. But she didn't apologize of accusing me of stealing. I'm REALLY UPSET ON HOW SHE HANDLED THIS SITUATION!!.

First time at this location. I needed assistance in the paint section and excellent assistance was provided. The store was neat, not crowded and all staff I interacted with were pleasant. I usually like to support my local hardware store but in this case a friend suggested what I needed and that Home Depot was the place to get it. I was successful in picking up what I needed.

If you are ever in the building materials section - ASK FOR RYAN! Trust me, you want to read this review. By far the best experience I've EVER had at a Home Depot. I was greeted while looking lost in an aisle, and the friendly gentleman explained that he couldn't help me with my project since he wasn't familiar with wood supplies and building BUT he directed me to one specific person in the Building Materials section - Ryan. Ryan was such a breath of fresh air to deal with. He patiently listened to all of the ideas I had (while trying to decipher what I meant since my terminology was way off lol). He made sure that he understood exactly what I wanted, and then presented me with every option that fit my budget. He was even able to explain all the little differences so that I could really make an informed decision! Ryan encouraged me to take pictures of the SKU numbers so I could come back and know exactly what to get, and helped me find the most cost efficient way to put my outdoor cat house project together. I really wish every experience at Home Depot could be this great - where a patient and knowledgeable employee really listens and actually gives this much effort. It took me 4 separate trips of bad advice to get to this point and EVERYTHING he said worked exactly right. Ask for Ryan!

Beware of the employee in the photo I posted. He is not only willing to fight a customer but ready to fight a woman customer. His name is Charles, D28 is his employee ID. On this day, today, he was standing by the back exit checking receipts. This person is looking for trouble and will jump at the chance for any sort of confrontation but will refuse to offer or provide help if he is asked. He is rude with a really nasty disposition and I advise any and everyone to double the social distance rules if you come into contact with him. He's a loose cannon and should be considered dangerous and kept away from the general public. I very kindly asked him to watch my lumber cart for 2 minutes so I could put my elderly father into my car as he was tired, in some pain and was very agitated. My father wanted to leave and I needed to get him out of there. Charles replied "I can't guarantee it's going to be there when you get back". I was surprised by that answer but again stated I would only be 2 minutes, just going into the lot to escort my father into my car. He again said he could not guarantee it will be there. pretty much telling me he would not secure my merchandise for me. I'd been there for over an hour getting wood for shelving cut and I didn't want to take the chance of anyone taking the lumber cart, thinking it was abandoned. If you've ever needed a lumber cart at Home Depot, you know they are hard to get your hands on. So, I said fine, then I'll take it with me and come back and pay for it and I told him he could follow me if he wanted to. I was going to secure my own merchandise,,,,inside the store. I never left the store, since I couldn't get assistance from Charles. Now, this is when he woke up and was ready to attack. He marched over to me, grabbed the lumber cart and said I can't let you leave with this cart. He actually tussled with me over the cart. I pulled the cart and he was pulling it as well, he put his foot on it and was ready for a fight. The irony of all of this is that I asked him to perform a simple function that required no physical energy or any energy at all really,,, and he refused... but when he saw an opportunity to be combative, he was more than willing to participate. I then asked him for his manager, he yelled at me "I'm the manager!" I yelled back, " there is no way you're a manager behaving the way you're behaving" And of course he was lying because someone went to get the actual manager. As the manager, Pablo, approached me, he could see I was upset and I asked him, are you the manager, he said yes, I then asked if Charles was a manger, he said Charles was one of his supervisors...but if you're in service and a customer asks to speak with the manager, you get the manager,,, you don't lie and say that you're the manager... anyway, as I was explaining what had just happened, upset obviously, my father was still there, he is now even more aggravated...Charles presence was not needed, but he was still hanging around and yelling and acting crazy,,, even in front of his manager!!! I told Charles to go away, he wouldn't, I called him a "b*#ch", yes I know it wasn't the most mature thing to do but at the moment, it just came out as he continued to escalate the situation... Charles turned his head as other workers were trying to force him to leave the area,,, he was resistant .. he wanted to stay and fight..., so he turned his head and he said "bitch?" ,he then proceeded to aggressively approach me as if he was going to strike me, he lunged toward me, his coworkers and manager had to hold him back and literally drag him away...as he was verbalizing threats at me. If they were not there I believe he would have physically attacked me. They had to hold him back... can you imagine? I can't believe someone, especially at work, in a customer oriented job at that... would behave that way. this could have been avoided and it was unnecessary. Home Depot needs to evaluate the people they hire a little better. Charles should not be working a job like this one with the outlook he has toward customers.

I skipped out on a night of hanging out (destroying my liver) with friends and coworkers for a hot date with Home Depot. Before you begin the "lame Pedro" chants, I had to go with my contractor friend after work to get necessary parts in order to finish one of several bathroom remodels. It had to be done. If I am correct, the Zerega Avenue location closed down and moved here. Therefore this location is relatively new. For home owners and land lords, you can come here and find almost anything in terms of home improvement. Here are a few highlights: Good: + Store associates, if you grab one, can be very, very courteous and helpful. On one occasion, Dawna, a store associate, saw I was buying an entire bathroom. She ended up staying with me, answering my questions and making sure I left with everything I needed/wanted. + There is so much "free knowledge" floating around this place besides literature. Just walk in and say, "hey, I want to retile my floor" and an associate will find you the right person to help. In addition, he/she will help you get all the toys you need. + I have seen a few of the baddest, I mean baddest badadonk-a-donks strutting in the aisles. Wow. I mean "Wreckx-n-Effect Rump Shaker" wow. Bad: - Parking lot is almost always full. I've come at different times of the day, too. - Checkout lines can be rough. - Inventory of sale items depletes quickly. - After you are finished with your shopping cart, there is no good place to return it. That's why douchebags leave them next to parked cars. It's pathetic. - You can get lost in this store and try to buy everything. If you come here for light bulbs, you will see something else... Oooh, let me pick up this miter saw. Oooh, let me pick up this 18 gauge sink. Oooh, let me pick up this chandelier. - I have seen some of the most ugliest, homeliest women ever walking the aisles. Ugly: - I have no choice but to keep coming back and buying something else for my never ending money pit. IFHTP 3+

Don't let the exterior and lack of reviews fool you though, once you talk with them, you'll discover they really know their stuff and have some great deals. After further chatting, I also found out they do have a commercial sales team and real estate developers who buy 143 washers at a time don't write Yelp reviews. Happy Appliances has an incredibly-wide selection: from everyday names like Samsung to higher-end such as Miele and they can procure pretty much anything. John and his team worked hard to find specific models, such as a Bosch 800 series dishwasher, that we were searching for. From start-to-end, our team was very responsive to all follow-up questions via email and even with the pandemic supply chain issues, they tracked down and delivered all appliances within the quoted timeline and price--to a multi-floor walk-up nonetheless! Other retailers, such as Lowes, Home Depot, AJ Madison, and PC Richards were quoting 8-10 month backorder for some appliances. We got all of ours in three. Additionally, Happy Appliances (and its parent company: Happy Electronics) is an authorized vendor for all products we bought (did some independent research before purchasing), so warranty was never a worry. I feel like we discovered a hidden gem and we readily recommend them to our family and friends. As a matter-of-fact, I just went back to replace an old washer/dryer. Ask for John when you go. He's great and really down to earth.

Tim did the research on the top brand name appliances based on dimensions governing the tight gallery sized apartment kitchen. He offered me choices so I could compare and read the reviews. He was upfront about the delivery, installation and haul away costs. He was able to provide a Certificate of Insurance required by my building. Despite a glitch due to the building's aging plumbing, the delivery team was able to reschedule the installation of the dishwasher for a nominal extra fee. Everything fits in its proper place and is working. Very pleased with the selections. Tim is honest and provided great service along with reasonable pricing. I won't be dealing with big box appliance stores any more. Happy Appliances has won my business.
