Do NOT Buy Furniture from Home Depot This review is for Home Depot's online furniture ordering, not this specific store. I ordered a countertop table on June 23rd with a promised delivery of the 25th. Instead, the order bounced through multiple delays -- the 27th, then the 29th, then again -- finally arriving on the 30th. Every call I made was met with confusion, excuses, and the same line: they use third‑party carriers and can't control what happens. Yet each representative confidently assured me the new dates were accurate, and every one of those dates turned out wrong. When the table finally arrived, it was damaged, blemished, peeling, and clearly not acceptable. I asked for a replacement, not a refund, and was told it would arrive July 2nd "without question." I pushed back, given the first disaster, but they insisted the issue was "incorrect delivery instructions" and everything was now fixed. July 2nd arrives -- and the replacement is delayed again, now to July 7th. Suddenly the dates they previously guaranteed were "just estimates." Meanwhile, UPS showed up to pick up the return even though I was told it would take 5-7 days and I'd be notified beforehand. They couldn't take it because Home Depot only provided a slip for one box even though the order contains two. Another mistake, another delay, another round of calls. To make matters worse, one representative asked why I chose this furniture in the first place -- as if the problem was my decision to buy it rather than Home Depot's inability to deliver it correctly. This entire experience has been a chain of errors, misinformation, and zero accountability. At this point, it's clear Home Depot is not a reliable source for furniture -- especially not online. read more

Don't Buy Milkweed from this location. I was there Wed to purchase milkweed for Monarch butterfly enclosure, asked garden specialist if the plants were sprayed with pesticides because we were raising butterflies. I was assured no pesticides were used on these plants. Today, two caterpillars died with symptoms of OE/parasite exposure, There are a dozen or more caterpillars that have been exposed. Unfortunately, we won't know if they are carrying the parasites until they attempt to form the chrysalis. If they are infected, they die a slow death, basically they are eaten alive. Very tragic to see/experience. Apparently, Home Depot is not required to disclose the use of pesticides on their plants. read more

Last Friday I rented a carpet cleaner. The equipment was clean enough although the unit still had water in the reservoir so it leaked during transport. However, the customer service I initially received when I checked out the unit was terrible. I was honestly shocked how both male staff who were working equipment checkout counter greeted in a manner that questioned if I was in the right place. I understand that from their perspective they may not experience a female to go rental tools or equipment but they didn't have to have a tone of doubt or that I must be there in a mistake and have a question. This review is for the service we received from Chris who is housed with the electrical department. I was trying to find an employee to ask for assistance and finally spotted Chris. Even though, electrical was his forte, he gladly assisted us with finding a part that we needed for our sliding mirror door. He even went out of his way to look on google for the actual name of the part cause we could not find it anywhere. The store pick up here is ridiculous. I was emailed saying my order was ready. I pick it up, get home and realize part is missing(my fault for not checking, but how did they miss it) head back, takes them 30 minutes to check, realized the pieces were never pulled, had to go to the floor stock only to find they didn't have enough. Now I have to wait a week to pick up the rest. When I should have been told from the beginning they didn't have enough. And the app is telling me they have enough? I am so disappointed in my experience at this South Chino location of Home Depot. They totally ruined Father's Day. I really wanted to surprise my dad on Father's Day with the best gift ever by getting him the stainless steel propane gas burner grill by NexGrill. Because the measurements of the grill showed it would not fit in my car, I Ordered NOT ASSEMBLED on June 14 with curbside pick up so the employees could place it in my car since I was alone. I Got there at 9:30am on Father's Day (June 19). I was so excited to give the grill to my dad at our Father's Day celebration later that day and checked in on the mobile app. A Car pulled in front of me and received his order in about 5 minutes. After 30 minutes of waiting, I rolled down my window and told the employee I had been waiting forever to receive my item. He asked if I was there for the grill. I said yes. He said, "oh one of the ladies said it was already brought out. I'll go get it for you." He and another worker came to the car with an assembled grill. As I stated when I purchased the grill, this is not what I asked for because it was assembled. I told them this and they said this was the last grill in the store smh. To make matters worse, It looked like the floor model. It Was dirty, dusty, had the advertising price tag flyer on it and everything. So the employees realized the grill was too big for my car as I already knew it would be. I had to remove my 2 car seats and strategically place them in the front seat while the employees had to try and take parts off of the grill to make it fit. This was a whole mess because now I had to leave and pick up my sister's kids which caused me to be late and I had to reinstall the car seats. Home Depot I don't understand why you couldn't have found me a brand new grill in the time ordered til' when I picked up because you had 4 days. There's a lack of communication with your team which had me waiting for 30 minutes only to bring me a used grill which I paid full price for. How does that make sense. I highly suggest no one go to this Home Depot especially if you're trying to get an important present for your loved ones. read more

I was in the line for 30 mins to place the order of landscape rocks. The 2 reps at "pro services" are calling multiple people behind me & they both knew I am waiting in the line. Then I asked why you help the people behind me. The rep told me those people were in front of you. Does Home Depot have VIP priority membership? A whimsical garden requires a lot of work and plant hunting. No doubt about that. My journey for hunting for succulents to create the perfect mini terrain was no different. During Covid 19, I discovered myself to have a green thumb. I've worked myself out to discovering I love building terrains of succulents and watch them turn into different formations. I was hunting for new succulents to grow, but most of the Home Depot's I've encounter don't have enough succulent plants available or they carry one's I've already grown in my front yard. I was on the verge of giving up, and I was going to buy some on Amazon. My fiancé told me to go to this Home Depot because they usually carry a better variety than the one nearby my house. Upon arrival, I was already eyeing on this big pot with different succulent's on it. Each succulent on that pot has its own little area. I was like OMG, this was already exciting. I've never seen it before. (Check my pictures to see what I'm talking about) although my journey wasn't about getting that type of terrain, it was enticing to my eyes. So, I moved onward to the inside. And...! I found so many different succulent's available for me to purchase. Some of them I've never seen before which was awesome! I purchased a few new one's which I'm so happy with. I'm working on my terrain project with them soon. I also asked Julie a gardener working there for a little help. She was extremely helpful and even gave me a few tips. She immediately knew what type of succulent plant I had. I basically asked her why one of my succulent is growing a long stem flower. She told me the same, but I forgot! It's ok as long as it wasn't dying. I honestly thought it was dying because it grew out a long stem of flower. Another tip she told me is, you can always pick on a succulent leaf, put it in the soil and another succulent will grow over time. I was like that is soooo cool! I'm learning something new everyday. Hey, if you knew this tip, that is cool but I learnt something new! Julie was very helpful. Awesome customer service and taught me a few beat tips and a cool trick! I'm definitely coming back to this Home Depot. Lots of selections! Loved this Home Depot with customer service that exceeds my expectations. Happy Planting!!! read more

Awesome customer service. When I went to this store, I had the next customer service experience. I was looking for a weed killer. I had no clue which to buy and Lisa saw me looking and asked if I needed help. I told her yes and she began to explain which were good to get and asked how big the are was I was going to use it on. She guided me into buying a concentrate and a pump since that was the cheaper option. I was incredibly thankful for her advice and awesome customer service. Today was a great case in point: I was looking for some of the deals in seasonal, so I went to the gardening department. There I met Dina. She has such a pleasant and welcoming demeanor. I told her what I was looking for, so she walked me to the seasonal area, and called the manager of the department, who is familiar with the deals and discounts. She stayed with me till I was able to get the product I wanted. Outstanding customer service. In general, the customer service experiences at this location are great. This time it was amazing! The old days of trying to find someone at Home Depot to help you with something, and being only marginally successful appear to be gone.
