Went to Home Depot in Concord NH about 2 months back. Had my young kids with me and they needed to use the bathroom. Nothing out of the ordinary, what was odd was Amelia or whatever her name is it's hard to read her name on her apron with that purple ice cream cone painted on it. She works in the front end at the self checkout. So finished my shopping. Went to check Amelia pulls me aside to tell me that as kids start using the bathroom on their own they shouldn't be using the handicapped stall because if her disabled coworker was there that day she wouldn't be able to Go to the bathroom. Needless to say luckily I'm a nice guy cause other people would make a huge scene over this. So I walked away and she continued to follow me to make her point when I clearly did not want to hear it trying keep my cool till I got home. After getting home I called the store to file complaint about her inappropriate behavior. To recap this woman was watching my minor child in the bathroom!!! She continued to harass me at the check out about her stall choice. What this woman fails miserably at is not all disabilities are external. My Daughter is autistic and has severe claustrophobia. And when she needs to use that bathroom at her age she is going to use whatever stall she feels comfortable in! Final note I was in the Concord Home Depot a couple of weeks ago by myself because I will no longer take my kids there, and Amelia still works there even after watching a minor in the bathroom and harassing me at the checkout. I walked to homedepot, concord and i walked down to lumber near the saw. There was employee cutting wood .I waited to till he was done and he asked if needed help i said yes I do . I have an odd request I need a piece of wood 29x21 preferably plywood.He brought me over to show me some cut wood so I wouldnt need to to buy a full sheet. He pulled it out and cut it to my specs for a reasonable price. Don't let the man go he was very polite and he new where everything was. I was impressed. Thank you for the great service read more

Home Depot said my delivery would arrive on a Friday. We had to rent specialized equipment delivered on Friday for the weekend. On Friday I received an email saying the delivery failed because we werent there to receive. Never received a call as they said they would either. Not true. Called the 800 number in email. Got Home Deport corporate. They said they couldnt and wouldnt help. Called the store and they said they were short staffed and hoped to deliver it sometime Saturday morning. I asked why they didnt call me or let me know earlier - NO ANSWER. I have a special piece of equipment that cost over $600 to rent per day sitting idle and a crew on stand by trying to keep the construction on schedule. read more

Warning. I signed an agreement with Total Climate Control through Home Depot to clean my tenants' furnaces. Unfortunately, the appointment was canceled at the last minute and postponed for months which resulted in a furnace failing to work. Then Total Climate Control broke their agreement trying to charge me 4x the original agreed price to get the furnace running and charged me an exorbitant amount just to tell me this. This really seems like a scam to me. read more

Do NOT go through Home Depot to get windows installed. I have been dealing with a nightmare for the last 5 months. I had them come out and install late last year. The installers, we're nice, but didn't speak very good English and when I noticed that slider door they were putting on was backwards he wasn't understanding my issue. I called the sales guy and told him about this and he said no problem just call the home office and they can order you a new one. I called them that day and they said yeah no problem. The people there installing made me sign off on their work even though it was the wrong door, but everyone assured me that it would be fine. Then I had to deal with family issues in Washington (my mom dying) and when I got home they told me I was crazy and I had signed off on everything so it's out of their hands now. So now my door slides the wrong direction and they won't fix it. Please go anywhere else!! Not work the headaches! read more

Home Depot does not mark which appliances are out of stock and can't be ordered and EVERYTHING is out of stock. Their website don't easily mark which items are out of stock and can't be ordered either. We wasted an hour and a half there picking out appliances and then watching the sales clerk have to pull up each item individually only to tell us nothing could be ordered. I'm really disgusted with the experience and would strongly encourage you to go elsewhere if you are looking for appliances. read more

We called ahead to rent a truck they said yup we have a truck you need proof of insurance drivers license and 150 bucks. So we drove down there asked to rent a truck. She said yup let's just get some info took our insurance and license and said swipe your card for payment. We swiped our card and she said it didn't go through, we swiped again she said the computer won't let me process this payment. We looked at our app and it said home depot took out 150.00 and 64.00. She said I don't even know what that 64.00 is and it won't let me go through on the computer. So the manager came down and said we can't continue it on the computer so we can't give you a truck, but they were holding our money. So we walked out of there with them holding 214.00 dollars of our money but with no truck. We called our bank and said to put a stop payment on the home depot charges and she said she can't I have to cancel my card or let the payment go through and dispute it. I can't just cancel my card I have all my bills coming out of that card. So they totally messed up and that's not cool. The manager didn't care at all. I will never be coming here again. read more

I used the Home Depot credit card services to purchase a snow blower at the end of the 2017 year. I have never experienced worst customer service or relay of information vital to me being able to pay off the card. It started with a representative taking down incorrect information which resulted in a fraud alert and then when I called to make everything right I was told I needed to bring numerous documents to the Home Depot just in order to make a payment. Since doing so every interaction while calling to make a payment has resulted in me essentially begging to take a payment for my account and even on a couple of occasions I was unsuccessful and being able to put money towards my balance which resulted in an overdue charge. read more

I ordered online this morning, so that I could pick up 2 items during my lunch hour. I got there, and received nothing but blank looks. It was suggested that I "browse" while they scrambled. 20 minutes in, they had dispatched a manager to see what the hold up was. Chaos all over the customer service area, yet there seemed to be a number of store employees standing around talking in the aisles. When my two items FINALLY arrived, I grabbed them, and raced to my car. It wasn't until I put them in the back, that I realized that the Scott's "Whizz" hand held Weed N Feed was not only filthy dirty, but also previously used. I had asked the guy who hauled them out about directions and packaging, and he just shrugged. He must have just hauled it out of a neglected corner. I chose Home Depot today, although reluctantly. I have always been disappointed. Today was no exception. I saved myself not only no time by purchasing ahead online, but also was utterly disappointed by the quality of items finally delivered. read more

I live about 23 miles from the Concord H.D. , we have BEEN researching kitchen Cabinets there for about a month, finally decided 12/11 went into store to pick up or order, they had no wall cabinets that fit our needs in Dove Gray. Tried to talk to cabinet sales person at 1:20pm. Was advised she was out to lunch and also delivering parts to one of her valued customer. We waited at her desk till 3:30pm no show could not wait any longer and left. We returned today pm. Met with a very nice and knowledgeable lady put in our order for such cabinets, could not order one 30"x36 wall cabinet, out of stock, substituted 2- 15 " cabinets at a higher price almost double. Accepted substitute at this time. On to our checking out we tried to use our 15% discount card which we received as VALUED CUSTOMER AROUND Christmas, would not work after several tries. We were then referred to front head cashier who was unable to make it work. we were then interrupted by another cashier which cashier stating oh those don't work. Our cabinet lady specialist contacted her manager or store manager received an offer for 100.00 off purchase which was a joke as I recently receive a Veterans 10% discount. Store mgr was an a.....hole as we walked away with a $2000. Sale for HD and went to Lowes where we are treated with respect. Concord HD management SUCKS. read more

To bad we cannot give zero stars. We will never use the Concord Home Depot again. We ordered flooring in September and knew we would have to wait for it. (Set up Installation fro December 2nd and 3rd.) Long story short, in Early November we were told the flooring was in and awaiting the installation date. (Has to be delivered 72 hours before install to acclimate). On the day the delivery was to occur we get a call from someone at the Concord Home Depot that started like this "I don't know how to tell you this...." NEVER a good sign. Turns out they shouldn't have sold us that flooring because they cannot get it in stock and for 2 months no one thought to tell us this. AND they even LIED and told us it was in already and awaiting the installation date. THEN when they gave us a different "upgraded" flooring, there was no moulding or any of the other things that go with it. "Oh, thats fine, the installers will just come back in a week or two when it is in to install that stuff". Well, that would void every warranty because the floors would be unsecured for two weeks! So they finally managed to get the moulding from other stores in NH and delivered it on the second day of the install. Though they NEVER emailed to let us know they found it or to even let us look at it (since it was a different style from the floor we got). The Installation company, American Carpet South (ACS) was Fantastic! We can't say enough good things about them and their efficiency and professionalism. We have more work to do and will be trying to go through them directly. But Home Depot, at least the Concord store.... We will try not to ever set foot in again. We'll go to Lowes or through a local lumber company/hardware store for our needs. read more

I always seem to find what I'm looking for at The Home Depot. The store is huge so plan on walking a great deal if you're looking to purchase several items. The staffing has been greatly reduced but everyone is always very friendly and helpful. read more

I called ahead to make sure one my order would be ready and two that one of the items a shed that was suppose to be on a pallet. Would be able to be placed in my truck. Full size 1 Ton truck long bed. I was told no problem we can do that. I told them I would be there about 6pm. I arrived at Home Depot in concord at 6pm. Purchased additional items while there. Cashed out at 6:20. Loaded said items and walked over to customer service where we saw a sign for curb side pick up. Stood there for 20 minutes one person over at return counter with a line of 7 people. Saw two associates walk by asked for assistance if they could call someone over. One associate replied this is the right place but I can't help you I don't that department. The second associate standing in front the curbside desk told us he didn't know this system, we have to wait for the girl at the return, who's line grew as we where waiting for some one to help us in front of the designated sign. I walked over to a woman in paint asked if she could call someone over to customer service for help. She must not have been listening as a what came next as her response is that not my department I can't help you I don't know that system. I replied I'm not looking for you to complete my transaction, I am looking for you to call for a representative or a manager. At this point it's 6:50pm. At 6:58 I finally get the woman's help. At this point I'm in the return line. I must say given the amount of pressure she was under she did very well as I was not the only unhappy customer she had been attending too. She instructed me to meet the person with my order at the pro over hang which worked out great I was parked and ready to go there. As I thought that would be the easiest point to load up the shed. I was wrong. I see a kid name Reed, I asked him if he had some osb board and a shed as well. With a attitude or annoyed sarcastic voice I got idk anything about a shed I was just told to bring this up. So I replied well can you find out where it is. Yep I'll find out. Waiting and waiting. At 7:18 I walk back to the customer service area. And I told her I'm still waiting on my shed and she the three sheets of osb. She re pages for help From Reed. I said he was suppose to be helping track the shed why was he surprised I was still waiting???? I was also told that they normally don't load things in the back of trucks with a fork lift???? I said I called to make sure as I was driving a hour to get there. So after another 5 minutes or so I'm instructed to go around back to there loading center in the back of there building where lumber is. Really? So I get back there. I see Reed trying to operate a fork lift, appears to be first time. I then step out waiting for them to get the shed on the fork lift as it's on a cart. As I am sitting there watching Reed man over the fork lift he almost drops it off the cart and fork lift. The whole bundle is severely bending ( I have yet to unwrap but will note if any pieces are broken.) I also have video of this incident for record. Then they are trying to put it in the truck. My father luckily was there and is very familiar with moving logistics, heavy equipment etc. was there to direct the kid and the help. So my truck was not damaged. So at 7:58pm we are finally on our way home. Two hours for a curb side pick up. Worst experience with Home Depot and yes there have been plenty others. So at 9pm I finally get home. So disappointed and dissatisfied. I ordered online thinking it would be a easier and quicker than me pulling the products myself. I was severely wrong. I would like a follow up call. If you are going to provide a service you best know how to execute. read more
