​I haven't dropped an update here in 5 years so now's a good time. Actually, I'm glad I waited this long to update the review. About 2 years ago, I noticed there were fewer staff around, and things started to feel a little more difficult than I was used to. But in the last year or so, they've really ramped up their game, and the service has been excellent again, totally back to its normal self. I have been a fan of the brand and while factors vary by location continues to be the best I have experienced and continues to be my go-to for my many honey-do excursions. :-) ​Bottom line: These guys are still killing it. This location of Home Depot has a large amount of stuff like most Home Depots. Fortunately they do have the Home Depot app you can use to navigate around different Home Depot locations to make finding a specific item far more simple and it saves a LOT of time. Most Home Depots tend to have decent customer service and this location followed that pattern. Overall with the app this is a good spot to find the things you need in an efficient manner. As a bonus this location is very near a Lowes and close to several other hardware stores just in case you can't find exactly what you need there are multiple other nearby locations that might have it. read more

I placed an order for pickup and once they notified me that it was ready, I pushed the "on my way" button in the app. When I got to the parking lot and before I could indicate that I was there yet, there was a gentleman employee standing there with my item in his hand waiting for me. I hadn't even parked and let them know that I had arrived. I was super impressed! The employee was courteous and polite. Not only did he have my item ready for me, but he also gave me an ice cold bottle of water to go with it! That's what I call service! Highly recommend this location! So bad that they were not capable of giving me my order for pick up after about an hour wait. All while they helped several people after me. Never have I encountered such a rude cashier in outside garden. Husband and I both handicapped. When we left waiting for loading she physically laughed, took her fake cane and stood in middle of aisle and twirled it like a baton. I personally believe she needs some mental help. I will not be buying anything from Home Depot again. I ordered a grinder to be delivered and when I received it the box was really mangled (See picture) and when I sent a TM to the driver he said it works and that he opened to box and tested it to make sure (Why would I want something opened when I bought it new, it might be missing parts and it was!) so I contacted Home Depot and requested a return. They asked me to call the manager and I did, she said it was the last one and they tested it, so I asked her why in the world would anyone buy something new and accept what she sent me? She said she thought I really wanted it (I told her she made a mistake). Either they hate me and have an ax to grind or they're really bad workers and should be fired! I ended up setting up a return and they idiots came at 7:30 AM! Why would anyone accept a pickup for 7:30 AM without checking first, I wasn't even awake! I ended up eating the cost (Not wanting to deal with their evil incompetence anymore) vowing to never shop at Home Depot again (They have gone to crap lately). When I finally did open the box it was missing the manual and 2 nuts at the least (I bought the 2 nuts online). Home Depot is history to me. read more

Either no one answers the phone, I get disconnected, or a person I need to talk to in "countertops" is never there. I just moved here from out of state & don't think I'll be using this store again. We ordered a refrigerator for our house in Lillian two weeks ago. Delivery was scheduled for today. My husband took off work to accept delivery between 12:30 - 4:00. At 4:30 the Foley store called and canceled delivery. This is a second home and we we're depending on the delivery of a refrigerator. Now we have groceries without a refrigerator. They have a pretty good pickup curbside system..I downloaded their app and u can let them know u are here, what space, description of your car..also on the sign u can text them and give them the info that way..quick and easy if u are not prepared to go.into the store.. read more

They did show up Monday to install. Initially said they couldn't take away my old washer which I had paid to be removed. They said they didn't have room on their truck. Called the store but did not get anyone to answer. They did end up taking it away though. After they installed it he turned it on to make sure it was running and eve seemed to be fine. The first load I washed was about a 3/4 load. Quickly found out that they didn't level the washer when installing. read more

just nowNEW Went into Home Depot's Foley Al store on 04/25/2021, to purchase hot water heater & arrange installation. Associate did order on computer and said someone would be contacting me to schedule install & I'dpay for it then. Never heard from them, so went back to store on 05/05/21, and purchased hot water heater & paid $80 for 05/13/21 delivery. At time of purchase, associate told me it would be no problem for delivery driver to put hot water heater in my garage, and I requested they call me before delivery so I could leave work & meet them there. The driver called me WHEN he arrived at my house, and said he couldn't wait on me and even if I were home, he could not place in my garage, since I didn't pay for it to be "carried inside". Not only did they not follow directions to call me before delivery, they apparently gave me incorrect information at service desk when they told me no problem placing it in my garage. I called the store upset, and the woman that answered phone at service desk put me on hold for several minutes, then came back on phone and told me she told driver that I refused delivery. Nothing was addressed about the incorrect information they gave me, nor the driver not following directions to call me before delivery. Very unhappy with the whole experience of trying to purchase water heater from them. Very unprofessional treatment with all interaction on what turned out to be 2 unsuccessful attempts to purchase this hot water heater from them. read more

I ordered a dishwasher on May 27. It was on back order which is fine since they made me aware of this. It was scheduled to be delivered 6/25 between 1230-430. On 6/25 while looking at my order confirmation I realized it had the wrong city. I called to have them updated to correct address, spoke to a guy and he said he was going to put me on hold so he could fix it. Never came back on the phone, after an hour and a half I was sent to there survey. Called back, spoke to a female and explained again what was going on. She put me on hold and never came back, after half an hour was sent to survey. NOT ONE PHONE CALL BACK FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE KNOWING MY ISSUE WAS NOT RESOLVED. Called a third time, spoke with a different female. She put me on hold and was able to get a hold of the delivery team and update address. She also gave me a new time window of 3-7. At 658pm the delivery team called and said they had to reschedule do to "bad weather". Said someone would call me to reschedule, no one ever did. Called 6/28 and again on the phone with a lady for 30 mins, problem unresolved and then was sent to survey, NO PHONE CALL BACK AGAIN. Called again and spoke to someone and he updated my address but is telling me there soonest delivery is 7/16 because "I missed the first appointment" Um-Noooo you guys called and canceled. This is seriously the worst customer service I have ever had. He put in a request to deliver sooner and said someone should call me back with in 24 hours and if they don't to call back. WELL I KNOW NO ONE IS GOING TO CALL ME!! I guess since they already have my money I'm not a priority in getting my product. Horrible horrible horrible customer service. They do not let you finish a sentence before trying to pass you off onto someone else. I'm a person who believes that things happen and I'm extremely patient in getting issues resolved, but this specific Home Depot would benefit from a class on customer relations. What a shame. I work hard for my money and regardless of product, I will not ever again spend my money at a store that feels it's acceptable to treat their customers in such a short and unprofessional disrespectful manner. read more
