I had a really disappointing experience at this Home Depot today that I feel management needs to address. While waiting in the returns line, the employee working the desk made it very obvious she did not want to be there or help the customers waiting. She appeared visibly frustrated and was openly complaining about how bad of a day she was having while chatting with other employees instead of assisting the people in line. When the customer in front of me politely called out the situation and asked for help, the employee escalated the situation instead of de-escalating it. She became visibly upset and started throwing his returned items onto the ground. This only made the situation worse and the customer understandably became more angry. Instead of trying to calm things down or handle the situation professionally, she refused to listen, acted like the victim, and called security after the customer walked away toward the garden area. Even though the customer was clearly upset, employees represent the company and should know how to handle difficult situations. What happened was extremely unprofessional and honestly embarrassing for everyone standing there watching. Customer service is supposed to be a priority, and this employee made it very clear she did not want to do her job. The entire interaction was uncomfortable and poorly handled from start to finish. Because of this experience, I will not be returning to this location. Management should seriously look into what happened and address the lack of professionalism at the returns desk. read more

Worst place ever to go shopping for your home repairs! You can NEVER FIND ANYONE TO HELP YOU!! My husband and I had to get our own door and it was falling on us because no one wanted to help! I guess we should have let it fall on us so we could have sued !! You would think such a huge company would have great employees but unfortunately not!!! At 1:57pm on 4/6/26 I'm experiencing this Home Depot's customer service training needs to be addressed. The attending staff at the garden center has shown signs of not willing to assist me in ordering 4 bags of top soils and 2 bags of sands to load into my car. I am a petite person so I asked her to place an order to request a loader. She commented she could order but the loader may be or not be available to assist me. With that prompt, I took it as my purchase is a self-service where there is no customer service, I'm at my own luck!. I think the CS should be trained in responding that I may need to wait a while to get a loader which is not a big deal to me to wait. It is not her responsibility to deny or reject a loader. So I canceled the transaction w her and proceeded to another CS at the pro desk. The second one after listening to my situation said, I must order online and come to the pickup line. I don't see the different in the process, but still I think the CS training must be addressed. It is either the problem of management at this location or the CS attitudes toward their customers. read more

Today is October 7th 2025. The time 1100 hrs. I'd like to recognize an employee named Pete. As he does an exceptional job at giving bad customer service and his poor work ethic is something to behold. I've never met anyone so annoyed and rude for having to do his job. Myself and another customer were told to get out of the isle so he could bring down a pallet. I understand we had to get out of the isle for safety but he literally shoed us off like stray cats coming near your door. Completely uncalled for. Not to mention the 30 minute wait just to get him to show up. I spoke to a total of 4 Home Depot employees during my visit, all of which were kind and respectful. All except Pete. Who I was surprised to find out is the shift supervisor. How he got to this position with his terrible attitude and customer service skills I couldn't tell you but he needs to be put somewhere where he doesn't deal with customers directly. We went to Home Depot last Sunday because my mom wanted to purchase a new washer. She had seen that there was a rebate she could use for 3 more days and wanted to take advantage of it. She also wanted to apply for a Home Depot card. Daejia assisted us with that. She led us to a register and showed us how to go step by step to fill it out. She didn't abandon us during the process. She stayed til we completed it. Mom was approved so we went to the washer/dryer section of the store. Since she had been there the day before she had spoken to Nae and said she was a big help. She doesn't make these decisions alone so I had to come with her to make sure everything checked out. Mom always knows what she wants and makes sure she gets what she has in mind. She wanted a Maytag washing machine with a warranty and a sliding tray for under the machine. She is a fan of Maytag and found the perfect one. Lakrecia and Julian were a big help with this transaction. Lakrecia started the order for us and applied everything as we explained what we wanted and used the card information we had just qualified for. After a few minutes, she drew up our invoice with the delivery date set. This entire crew was awesome! I really can't say enough about how helpful and patient they are. I know HD gets a lot of customers but they take the time to assist and make sure you get through your transaction. The delivery date was four days later and although I wasn't there, I did get the call for mom that the delivery guys were 10 minutes away. My mom said the guys were so nice and helpful. She was so pleased with how easy the delivery was, in fact, the whole experience, she asked me to write a Yelp review to let you know. Needed boards cut for a project, 2 43" cuts per 2x12. The employee we dealt with cut the boards at an angle and when confronted, she pointed to they sign and told us to deal with it. The cuts didn't have to be precision, they just needed to be straight. The wood cutting machine states for employees to wear gloves and eye protection. She wore neither. She also cut the boards with her braids hanging down into the cutting area. read more

Just another disappointing trip to Home Depot. Checked that not only exactly what I wanted was in stock in this particular store, but several other workable options were in stock as well, all in relatively significant quantities to make me believe that I would be able to get something that would work. But, noooo! Not in stock. None of them. No other lengths, no other diameter, no other options at all. We're taking about standard eye bolts, in common sizes...nothing! Ok. Well at least I'll be able to get the lumber that I need. No, not that either. (sarcasm font starts now) it's understandable though, stocking specialty items like sheets of pressure treated plywood at a major big box home improvement store may be expecting too much. So, I settle for a sheet that is not PT and head to the cutting center. Oh no. Not allowed to cut plywood on your own. The associate says that he's new and hasn't been trained on the saw. Sure thing, totally get that... safety first...always. He gets someone that can do it, and the new guy says no problem, I'll be right back and I'll meet you over at the saw. Never saw him again. Walked to the front asked for help at the cutting center and was told someone would be right there. No one ever showed. So, I am finishing this review, getting out of the truck at Lowe's! Recently bought a home so The Home Depot has been my go-to spot for home improvement needs. I have refreshed the look of the exterior by buying light fixtures for the front porch and garage (above door). Bought replacement shower heads and new door locks. I was able to get most items on sale which made it even better. I have also purchased weed killer online to tackle my front yard area. All items were ordered online and picked up in store. The process was so easy to go in and even do curbside pick up. My only issue with curbside is it stops at 6pm so depending on when you get off work you may not get off in time and have to go in store. read more

Ordering for pickup is a waste of time. I have tried several times and am waiting in my car for nearly 30 minutes. It is faster to go in and get whatever you need yourself, however with a van full of kids I try to take advantage of pickup especially with stores that aren't very child friendly. read more

Home Depot provided more closet for less money and I must tell you it's very sturdy. But.... Something bad happened last week. The molding at the top fell off. That's not acceptable and because we are still trying to get another Home Depot project completed for the last 6 months, I don't think I'll ever do another project by them again. They lack follow up. Don't know why this place has such an overall low score. It's really a nice store as far as Home Depot goes. Any time I've gone there all staff has been friendly, helpful and knowledgable. I love that it's easy to get my military discount at checkout. At Lowe's they have to get a manager or lead cashier to approve it and that slows down your checkout. Not so at Home Depot. Show them proof of military service and the cashier is authorized to approve it on the spot. No waiting for someone else to come over for approval. No holding up the line and pissing off the other customers. Lots of sales today in the garden center but I was on a mission so didn't stop to browse. Ordinarily I would stop and when I do I hit the 50% off rack. You get some great half dead flowers at ridiculously low prices. A little TLC is all it takes to bring them back. Tonight I was in a rush to find foam noodles to cover my pipes for a winter freeze and Koby was standing at the front holding one lonely pool noodle. This little lady knows her garden stuff, and was extremely helpful when I asked questions. She even came around a couple of times after helping us to make sure that we were still ok. She is also very tough and a hard working woman from what I could see in the little time we were there. I'm not sure how it is on the weekend, but today (Friday), I felt like I really received good service. Went there yesterday before noon trying to buy a washer a dryer but before that we visited location by I 45 and spring we left cause no one help us,so we decided to come to this location hoping that someone will help us out. Once we arrived to the appliances section we looked at washer and dryer and we were ready to buy. Guess what??one no one support us. There was this associate ( in his probably late 50 early 60) In charge of appliances and saw us and ignored us. He was to busy with manager name DONA talking and ignoring customer. When I asked another associate to help us he called this associate and told him they need and he saw us and you don't talk to see people face when they feel bother because they are too busy talking to another associate. I talked this lady in customer service Sydney who was very nice and she listened how frustrated I was trying to buy from you and You didn't care for My Business. Over all Sydney was very professional and nice to me. Too bad you don't have sales people like on your sales floor. Trust me you are loosing business. read more

This review is for their door installation service. Process was fairly easy. Paid $35 for a pre-measure installation. There was some confusion in their system because I got several calls for scheduling a pre installation, even after someone had already came out. Must have been miscommunication on their part. Selected the door and handles I wanted. On the day of installation, the contractors came with the wrong model door. Normally, I would have been upset, but the contractors were so professional and they offered to come back out on Saturday for the install. They called me 15 minutes before arrival. Installation took about 45 minutes. Overall, a very positive experience and very happy with my new storm door. As for the store itself, this store, in my opinion, is one of the nicer Home Depots. Well stocked and everything is easy to find. read more

Interesting that Home Depot has a special on the Ryobi 1/2" impact wrench with battery, charger and bag for $99 AND site says they have 11 in stock in this store and other stores have stock but you can't purchase.
