Bought a toolchest and needed to rent a truck. Went to get one and they were all rented. Went the next day and their computers were down. Walked over to talk to the girl at the Customer Service desk to let her know we were working on picking it up, but of the issues. She was great. She said they typically don't hold items, but given what all was going on they understood and tagged my item so it didn't get put back on the floor. Her and the guy working in the rental area both helped us find other options and another Home Depot who had rentals available. We ran over and got one and were able to pick it up. Absolutely horrible customer service. I wanted to replace a drawer in my kitchen. After being told they "only sell whole cabinets" I specifically said "I can buy a whole cabinet" and being brushed off I walked out with all my money in my pocket. Three employees sitting down and acting like I'm interrupting by asking a question is unacceptable. Countless times my husband and I have been rebuffed and downright ignored by these uninformed product ringers. I ordered 4 bags of black mulch online. After going inside to customer service I was given a paper and told to drive through the garden center gate for pickup. It was all downhill from here. Waiting for the bags, the gate was closed so traffic was at a standstill and blocked due to everyone else being told the same thing. After 10 minutes in triple digit heat in my car, I walked in to see if I could get the mulch from inside. I was told by the ladies at the register that I had to go across the parking lot and get it from inside the gate. Off I go again. The guy inside the gate said he didn't have black mulch ( found out that was a lie) and sent back inside. After telling the garden ladies what he said they agreed to get the mulch. Another 5 minutes pass and they weren't moving. So I kindly asked if they had called someone to help load it and they said yes. Another 10 minutes go by now and I'm really getting pissed. I ask for the manager to get my money back. She finally showed up but another angry customer jumped up and started his rant. She directed us both back across the parking lot.( During which time some guy with a loaded buggy walks out without paying)!!!! Another 5 minutes in the heat, for a grand total of 32 minutes waiting for 4 bags of mulch! I called the Service Desk and Amanda said she was on her way to load my mulch herself. Thanks girl!!! Tool rental customers beware. The tool I rented was not operating properly but Home Depot did nothing about it. I rented a drain cleaner for 4 hours to clear one drain. The machine had multiple attachments for the auger wire that the rental rep told me were easily interchangeable. The tool also had a self extension/retrieval function for the auger wire. Well, once I got the tool home I found out that the screw on the end of the wire was stripped so I could not change to the head best attachment suited for my job. Next I found out there automatic extension/retrieval unction was VERY SLOW. Because of the inability to use the preferred attachment and the slow retrieval speed, my 4 hour time was running out on my rental and I had to call to extend to the full day rate to avoid a penalty charge. When I turned the tool in I told the HD employee of the problems I had with the defective tool and that I did not think it was fair to charge me the whole day rate I had to incur due to those problems instead of the 4 hour rate. He said get he was sorry and then handed me my receipt showing he had charged my credit card the day rate. I'll never rent a tool from Home Depot again. read more

I had to run to the competitor across the street and decided to run in here in-between rain storms- I headed straight for the garden center and was seriously looking at the roses they had! There was another customer who caught me lowering my mask to smell the different blooms and she laughed and said she was happy it wasn't just her! We chatted up roses until the rain started pouring down again- I had just purchased roses somewhere else and we were comparing notes- she showed me her favorite that she already had in her cart and I was sure to snap a picture for future shopping. The roses here weren't very fragrant- but I had the same problem at the other place I had shopped. We agreed that specific roses have those scents we just fall in love with! With all these masks- it's easy to feel disconnected and it was so nice just to have a brief conversation about something we love with a complete stranger! So... the rain drove me inside and I picked up a couple of things. I found that the gardening tools were cheaper in price than the competitor, but the garden center- those roses were a few dollars more. I managed to check out and sprint to my car before the clouds dumped more rain- but I was happy I stopped in! I am sure I will be back! read more

We've been to this location 3 times now. The 2 previous visits were stopping in to get items we knew they carried, but didn't know where they were. During both of those visits, someone was quick to direct us to what we were looking for. I don't know if it's a company directive but both associates said "thank you for coming in" after they helped us, which I thought was nice. Our 3rd visit was last night which was an online order. We walked in, went to the counter, grabbed our order and left. Super easy, as expected. I don't really have a preference between Home Depot and their biggest competitor, we just happened to pick them the first time we needed some home items. Based on these 3 visits, I don't think I'd go anywhere else. Nothing against the competitor, I just like this store and the service we've received. read more

I love this place. Specially the Garden section, from tools to all the surprising and new plants they bring trying to keep up with the seasonal stock, not to mention the weather challenges we've had. Biggest issue for me is just stopping by for one or two items and leaving with a cart full. And, a smile on my face overdoing it. Does not make your wallet smile. Best time to buy and save $$$$ is at the end of each Season. For Seasonal products i.e. BBQs, Fans, Paint, Heaters, Pressure Cleaners, even garden tools. In Fla our Seasons are reversed from our Northern Neighbors. Produce & Herbs rest in the Summer. Due to the heat, humidity and those hungry bugs :€ **You may want to remember they offer a 10% discount to the Vets and Active Military with proper ID. Even if items are on sale. Parking can be tricky. Since, the checkout inside the store is on the totally opposite side of the Entrance Doors. Making it more difficult to get to your car. Looking for a parking space between both entrances makes it a bit easier. Do try to remember where you parked. Trust me on this, just about everyone ends up on the Exit doors at the opposite extreme end(Left side of the Store) from the garden section. ***Best place to park your car is almost center. Helps specially, during our rainy season. And, on weekends The Hot Dog Stand generally is parked at the center outside:-P ***Don't Forget Gloves and Goggles(The light cheap glasses type) are your best buy. I like the 3M. I can appreciate a store that almost always has what I need and at a fair price. However this particular Home Depot has more idiots working in it than the average. I can not even count the number of times a Regency HD employee has stood by with their thumb in their ass while something as basic as moving something out of someone's way goes unattended. Or seeing an elderly person clearly struggling and they walk right past! I've given my personal information to at least 5 grandmas because I was the person that helped them with their issue instead of an employee. I just tried to drive to contractor/pro services and pull up under the overhand to have my truck loaded and 3 employees stood by as I had to put my truck in park, get out and move a cart that was in the middle of the entire drive area and get back in and continue. Went to Home Depot for a can of polyurethane. Walked up and down the paint aisles couldn't find any. So I went to the guy behind the paint counter. I explained what polyurethane is and He said that they don't have any and never have had any. My mother-in-law-law and I were looking for a particular type of lumber. We asked the clerk at the register, and she seemed to have a "I don't know nothing about anything" look on her face. I found a bar code slip from one of the pieces of lumber we needed and took it to the pro-service desk. A clerk there was busy stuffing her 10-inch eyelashes, 20 pounds of weave, 5 tons of makeup, mouth with food. I waited for the customary " How may I help you" well I didn't get that, instead, I got the "don't you see I'm stuffing my fat mouth, what do you want look" I asked could I get a price check on this item please because the majority of the lumber wasn't marked with the prices. I then found out the saw in the lumber section was out of order. I guess this was the day of "The customer is on their own" I am pretty sure there is to be no eating at the service desk or anywhere the employees interact with customers, not professional at all. It is sad to say that there are people in positions I:E "Managers" who are supposed to instill standards in every aspect of customers service to ensure post like this doesn't happen. I then learned that the Military discount doesn't apply to lumber items because of covid. I say they're putting profits over people, regardless of the sacrifice they made. GO corporate!!! read more

** HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE** I recently placed an online order for a washer/dryer set. Unfortunately I was hospitalized immediately after for 7 days. During which the order was delivered and I wasn't able to be present for being I was still hospitalized. The delivery ended up being 2 dryers. Immediately the 2nd dryer was sent back.. when I arrived home 3 days later and was able to unbox the dryer it was the wrong one. I called the return line and Samsung who said it was up to the store! Called multiple times and spoke to Lee and Gary both of which told me there wasn't much they could do because it was past the 48 hr to return, but I was hospitalized and literally couldn't see the dryer. I offered to pay the restocking fee to avoid the store having any loss and told them the dryer I wanted was more by $300. Neither seemed to want to come to any common ground or make any exceptions, knowing they can! Gave me fluff about speaking to their manager Chad and never allowed me to speak with him or did anyone call me back! Spent 2 hours on the phone with customer service who also felt the store should be more reasonable and work with me and attempted to speak to the manager and they treated her the same. I even offered to buy the dryer I want 1st before the return just to prove my good faith of not trying to just return the product. These managers are horrible, nonempathetic, not reasonable, all about policy and the dollar and should be ashamed of themselves! I'm sure if this was their family, they wouldn't except this! read more

You have one employee asking the manager for help with a customer and cocks an attitude because we interrupted the manager having a irrelevant conversation with another employee that wasn't work related. Service doesn't seem to be a priority. We were there specifically for some boxes of floor tile. Apparently, for safety reasons both aisles are roped off while replenishing inventory and I get that and acknowledged that. HOWEVER, as you are waiting for your forklift operator to get his third trip of merchandise, maybe you could consider that the customer's time is also valuable and hold up a moment to let them get their merchandise. Your employees saw and acknowledged we were waiting patiently (20min) but we moved across the street. Paid a little more money but our time is worth it. Service means a lot when your across the street from a similar store. read more

So I am going to give you a typical visit to Home Depot. Pull in the parking lot, play a game of avoid the carts because no one takes the time to put them in the correct return area and Home Depot surely doesn't put much effort in their employees removing the hazards from the parking lot. Walk approx 1/2 mile to the front door because you found a area 1/2 mile away clear of the free range shopping carts grazing in the parking lot. Trip on the solidified Mount Rushmore size concrete that someone spilled in the 80's and is still in the parking lot. Get to the lumber section and navigate through the half loaded carts of returns that need to go on the shelf. Head toward the item you need, get stopped the the Home Depot crossing guard and his red flag. You can't go down that isle because they are moving a pallet in plumbing approx 2000 feet away. Wait approx 10 minutes while the crossing guard clears the 6 rows of possible falling debris Head toward self checkout but make sure you read each note attached to the scanner because one doesn't take cash one doesn't take credit cards and one, well that one just doesn't like people. Scan your bottle of 409 spray. Wait for the attendant to authorize it because I guess that there is a epidemic of people snorting 409 Wait for your receipt to print which is approx 24 inches and 1 dead tree in the forest because they want you to fill out a survey for a chance of 1 in 9 million 850 thousand of winning a 10 dollar gift card. Go to your vehicle and find that the free range grazing shopping carts and decided to roll down hill right in to your door. Wait for the nice person that has been soliciting money for the last year because he "broke down" in the parking lot. Maybe one day he will get that new part he needs. Drive a little further and read the nice panhandlers sign. Pass the res light and then go right to Lowe's and wonder why the hell you ever went to Home Depot. I have never posted a review for a retail store, but it's warranted because we had two, really great experiences at this specific Home Depot location. The first visit, about two weeks ago, we had to return an item purchased online. Ashley, an associate up front, assisted us with a big smile and made the process easy, while making us laugh during the exchange. The second visit, today, we went to purchase new outlets and light switches. An associate walked over and could tell we weren't sure what to buy. His name was Jerry and he was extremely helpful! He took the time to explain the pros and cons of the different items and really helped us decide what to get. We are so thankful for Jerry's assistance and super positive attitude! read more

I've gotten these baskets from Home Depot before. They were around $17 and much better quality than what I got today. Today's baskets are $20, the metal isn't as thick and the coco coir is super thin. I'm so disappointed. My husband had to put shade cloth in there to keep the soil in the basket. read more

The service that we got at this Home Depot was less than a zero. The lead Cashier, named Carlton, was beyond rude!!! If I can give this place less than one star, I would!!! I'm a retired military family who placed a huge sacrifice for the freedom of all and when we went to the checkout stand, we asked for the military discount of, excuse me 10%, we were hassled because we didn't have the Home Depot app installed and they couldn't prove it on the app or on their system. I even told them about USAA Bank..No one can get the accounts without being Military. I'm from out of town and never thought that taking a DD 214 would be so important in order to get a discount on fencing. What a disrespectful and degrading situation. Then we walked out and not one person thanked us, offered to help us load all the fencing and cement. My daughter had to go back into the store and ask for someone to help us. Honestly, I should've just gone to Lowe's and paid the extra $.20. I will never go there again. read more

As one of the largest Home Depots in town, this one definitely is easy to get lost and confused in. I needed light bulbs and luckily they were directly in front of me where I walked in. I walked in on the side closest to Steak and Shake. We browsed around for a good hour before I could even find night lights, but they had to obviously be all the way around the store (I walked in a huge circle). I noticed that there didn't seem to be a lot of associates walking around. And if there were, none of them noticed that I had this crazy confused look on my face. The lighting displays are pretty and the sconces are nice to look at. The fan display makes me think of Final Destination, as if they were all spinning they would just fly off and kill somebody... but I'm pretty morbid and have a vivid imagination. Nonetheless, I did not walk underneath that section. Hah. The cashier was very nice, and I had no problem using my gift card. Note: I also came back to return the wrong might bulb I had purchased and that was quick and easy and no hassle at all. The girl was polite, but didn't seem very interested in my transaction. My dryer needed to be replaced. I ordered a new washer and dryer online. The earliest they would deliver was a week. They were delivered on the arranged day. However they said that the existing fixtures were damaged and I would need a plumber to repair them before they could install. They left the washer and dryer in the middle of my living room and gave me a number to call after the repairs were made. I was able to get a plumber who arrived within an hour. He made the repairs. I called the Home Depot number and explained everything. I was told it would be seven days for an appointment to install. I called the store but there was nothing they could do. So now I will be two weeks without a washer or dryer and the new ones in my living room. I will never use Home Depot again. read more

Called ahead of time to see if they had white marble chip stones and the guy specifically said yes they do and that they were $3.46 a bag. We arrive there and walked around the nursery and couldn't find them. When we asked a gentleman he said he didn't know and that he needed to go ask someone else. I walked into their conversation and heard the other gentleman saying "People hear what they wanna hear." He was very rude and we didn't "hear what we wanted to hear." My fiance had him on speakerphone, and we both heard him say it. He asked us if we wanted to order some and we just said we were going to go somewhere else. Very disappointed with them. Home Depot refunded me for both items, the item with the receipt went straight back to my credit card and I received a gift card for the one without a receipt.
