I recently visited Home Depot (61316 Lake Worth II 5750 Jog Road) to rent a truck and get cart boxes for a move. And had two different and totally opposite experiences. The process for reservation on line was very clear and straight forward. I got there on time (transaction 94897, registerer #90) and had to wait 30 minutes in line because they only had 1 person at the counter. His name was Simon, he did the best he could, called a manager for help apologize for the situation and was professional respectful and very helpful. Great Job!!!Thank you for the help and patience. Retuning the truck was totally the opposite (transaction 94897 & 95829, registerer #90) There was no line and still the process was slow and very uncomfortable. I did not get the young mans name but he was rude, impersonal, never made eye contact and got visibly annoyed because I questioned my bill. I literally had to tell him to please finish so I could leave. The price was competitive. The Truck worked perfectly. This review is related to a purchase at Homedepot. My rating is based on a product purchased there. Hampton Bay Riverbrook outdoor dining set by Coronado Casuals. Coronado Casuals refused to honor 3 year warranty. The set is rusting and I was told warranty doesn't cover natural disasters. Their definition of natural disaster, is outdoor patio set rusting due to moisture in the air. This company does not stand behind their products. Make sure when purchasing it is not backed by Coronado Casuals. I have no issue with Homedepot. Homedepot business Mgr. Replied on Yelp, requesting I fill out WEBFORM in hopes of finding a resolution. I was unable to open link, so I sent information through email to HDCARES@homedepot com. Spent 3 hours with the head of the bathroom tile section and WTH his wonderful help we finally came up with shower tiles walls and floor as well as tub tiles. Then came up with the flooring for the entire bathroom tile floor. Then we walked over to the faucets and towel holders etc. I had come in early and another gentleman helped me first from another area that had a great sense of humor but handed me over to the boss. It was a great experience and they will deliver in 2 weeks. I truly feel like I got a good deal! Can't wait for my modern bathroom!!! read more

So I really wanted to support my local Home Depot. I come here all the time. Sure it's hard to find an associate. But I usually can with in 10 or 15 minutes. I've heard about some who reported they were never able to get the help they needed and today it was my turn. I came for the Milwaukee M12 combo. The cost is $169.00. The product is behind the locked cabinet. You can see the item you want but you can't get it without help. I went to one associate who went to get help. After talking with a customer who wanted to know which cordless tools I use about 15 minutes. When we were done talking I walked over to customer service and asked another associate for help. She immediately got on the intercom and asked for help for 2 customers. I asked the other customer what she was looking for. Thank god for the app as she found what she was looking for on isle 12 bay 20. But I'm still waiting for an item I can see and touch but it's locked in a cabinet. 15 minutes later I get my phone look up my $169.00 Milwaukee combo on Amazon and order it for $139.00 and it will be delivered tomorrow. On the way out I tell the associate I'm grateful for her help. I'm pretty sure I'll be buying more on Amazon and less at Home Depot. So Sad. read more

I placed an order online for pickup. It was simply for 2 8 packs of HDX totes. The online description clearly said the package size was 8. I then drove 15 miles to Home Depot to pick up my totes. 2 totes were brought out. I spoke with the manager Matt and he told me the quantity selected was 2. I pulled up the website and showed Matt that it clearly said 8 to which he acknowledged but refused to fulfill. I then left and drove another 15 miles back to my house. I called the Home Depot customer service line and spoke to Cassia. She acknowledged that it was a mistake online but that it was the stores discission to honor. I explained that Matt refused and she offered to move the order to another store.... I'm so disappointed in Home Depot. I spent well over $50k at HD over the past 5 years. I will ONLY shop at Lowe's going forward unless this is made right. These were HDX products. The margin is likely very high and would have been little to no loss to HONOR there own website. First they changed their checkout process. I understand the need to save money but sometimes when you eliminate jobs; that hurts everybody. My fiance and I are currently working on big landscaping projects at our home. This location is very close to home so this is our go-to Home Depot. I have gone multiple times but this experience was too good not to talk about. We went to the Lawn & Garden Department and had the pleasure of meeting Kensman and Richardson aka "Rich". They gave us THE BEST shopping experience I had ever had from ANY Home Depot store....period. They were extremely polite, very entertaining, and knew their stuff extremely well. We laughed the entire time. The overall experience they gave us made it fun and makes it that much more enjoyable. They literally helped us with our entire shopping. My fiance and I got so much mulch, stones, soil, plants etc and they grabbed almost everything for us and put it on the 2 big dollies we were using, pushed the carts for us to each isle while shopping, to the register, all the way to my SUV, and helped us unload everything. We didn't even have to ask them to do any of this. I said "No fellas that's ok. We can push our carts. You dont have to do that." but they didnt take no for an answer. They just took it upon themselves to do everything. Now THAT'S customer service! Her and I were more than capable of pushing our carts and unloading everything but the fact they went the extra mile was unreal. It blew me away because not 1 person(s) gave us this kind of shopping experience at any Home Depot. For anyone in management, upper management or corporate, please give these guys a raise and/or a promotion and praise. The fact they gave us a phenomenal experience, went above and beyond, and made it fun is what shopping should be all about. Just went there 30 minutes ago. Definitely not my idea of shopping and a good time. However for my home product needs to be fulfilled this place might be a great choice. Basically all home necessary things can be found from range of lights, to outside furniture/grills, different gadgets, appliances, etc. Basically you know name it, they have it at Home Depot. What we really needed this time was different sprays to get rid of hornets/wasps outside our house and also weed killer etc. We didn't find what we were looking for at a different brand of store, so we decided to check out a Home Depot. This location of Home Depot is off of Lantana and not my usual HD location. However two employees were fixing a aisle but were quick to help us find what we were looking for. Check out was hassle free as well since they had self check out lanes as well. And no wait time. Overall I would go here again if needed for house related needs.~ read more

This is the big store they got alot to choose from in here. The store has pretty much everything you need for you home. The smaller stores are very limited cause of the amount of space. That is not the case here. The lighting department has tons of inside and outside Lights to choose. There is also a ton of different ceiling fans to pick. The outside garden is also huge. Everthing from plants to pavers. The only problem is the parking lot is on the small side. The week days there is plenty of space. But on the weekend it can be tuff to find a spot. But the staff is great here also. They always help you with your needs. read more

Went in looking with the items I had in mind, immediately found them thanks to the large signs hanging from the ceiling (I was offered assistance, but I declined) and I was on my way. One of my items rang up higher than the sticker price, and when I brought this to the young woman's attention, she shrugged it off. After my receipt was printed, she pointed out the price and I, again, said "That's not what the sticker said where I found it." She replies, "Oh, I could have adjusted that for you. I'm sorry." Home Depot Interiors is a subsidiary of The Home Depot. You were approached in a THD store or called by a THD telemarketing agent to set a "free appointment" and told a "designer" would help you design your remodel. They then send high-pressure sales associates (NOT designers or contractors) to your home to "design" your kitchen/bath renovation, limited to and including refacing your kitchen (new doors on your old base) and recovering your bath. They are a HUGE RIPOFF!! Management teaches and encourages their high-pressure sales associates to over price a job so they may then take off a "same day" discount bc you're a veteran/first responder/teacher/new neighbor/human being. This is against THD policy, even though top HDI management is fully aware of this scam and turns a blind eye. Most of these people are the same managers and sales people that had multiple law suits under the business US Remodelers and if you were to sign a contract, that's the subsidiary with which you still sign contracts to date, NOT NOT NOT The Home Depot. As a subsidiary, the contract acts as protection for THD and US Remodelers is an acting arm of THD. If you were to sue them, it would take very good lawyering to get to THD! And you will want to if you unwisely chose this business to work for you. There is NO actual orange trust bc they are owned by THD, do NOT be fooled!! All the work is done by contractors, the same as in the stores. There is one person with a license and when they tell you all their workers are "licensed and bonded" it is a sole person holding said license, NOT THD; again, protecting them from lawsuits. As contractors, they do not have to uphold the "values" of THD and license and bonding is up to their business owners, NOT said sole license holder in THD store. And these high-pressure sales associates say a myriad of untruths to get you to buy the same day bc they are on 100% commission - THD does NOT pay them a dime for the appointment unless they sell you, sometimes even if they do sell you they go unpaid bc they are not properly trained or HDI finds bogus reasons to not pay them and line more pockets, instead!! And the contractors, though they are good people, they are forced to work for pennies on the dollar bc the orange big box middleman is taking the larger part of the pie! Everyone having a hand in the pie is why the prices are considerably higher than if you directly bought from your local contractor! You have to ask yourself, why would I hire a company so intent on protecting themselves from lawsuits if orange trust is what they claim to sell and their only selling point?!! My recommendation, go to the blue box store or better yet, find a competent contractor and avoid the middlemen, altogether!! Do your due diligence, research US Remodelers and HDI and you won't be a victim!!! read more

Went to rent a truck the other night and although the line was long it moved along and employees at the counter making eye contact and thinking us for being patient. Store manager was in the front entrance greeting people and asking them if they needed help, which is always a pleasure to see someone not hiding out in their office. Shopping Date:June 10th 2019 I can't begin to thank the staff at Home Depot for their professional guidance, as I went about seeking the proper tools, and materials for my home project. I was assisted by 3 superb examples of excellence in customer service. The three employees that assisted my friend, and I as we searched for the products we required were Bob, Kervin, & Raul. I've no knowledge of their last names, or I would have included the initial of it in this review. I hope they receive the recognition they deserve. Each one took the time required in order to be sure I had exactly what was necessary for me to complete my home project. Not once did I feel rushed, or that I was wasting their time; as so many employees at other businesses tend to do these days. They actually followed my friend, and I around your large Home Depot store to be sure that I chose the proper materials for my project. They also took the time to explain in detail why, or why not a specific material would not, or would work with my specific project. Each employee noticed that I was in a bit of a quandary, and was not familiar with much of the materials needed, and patiently, and respectfully made it their business to assist me without judgment. I am extremely grateful for their professional assistance that day. Their Superior Customer Service didn't go unnoticed at all. That is exactly why I made it my priority to write this review. I hope that their superiors actually see this post, and reward each of them for their wonderful customer service, because they each deserve it. They truly do deserve recognition in my opinion. Thank you Home Depot for supplying a wide variety of materials, and making it easy to purchase everything that I needed for my project in a single place. It's especially appreciated by my friend, and I because we had many places to go that day. We did not have to waste enormous amounts of time hunting down those materials required for our home project. I give the credit to those three employees. Please continue to provide that specific level of quality customer care, and I will continue to shop at Home Depot. -I come here about once a week. It's a typical Home Depot, but I think the employees are a little more knowledgeable than some of the other locations or Lowes that I have been to. In particular there is a guy in plumbing that knows his stuff and some customers make it a point to get his opinion. Other knowledgeable staff are in Garden, electric, paint, and lumber. The cashier ladies are real nice. -The prices are on par with Walmart. I found this out when I was doing comparison shopping on gas cans. Those SOB's cost an arm and a leg. So door push brooms. Their best values are the stuff in the front and in the holiday sections. They also have good deals on their generic brand which is very high quality and cheap - such as their new huge plastic "tough" storage bins which are an amazing value at 9 or 10 bucks. If something is massively expensive try amazon prime which probably has it. -The parking lot is always a frustration - it's always packed and I have to park far away. The bathrooms are good here - kinda counter-intuitive for a construction worker place. -Couple other handy tips - 1) you can get keys cut here 2) if you bring in a color sample, they can put it on a scanner and give you an exact matching paint by mixing several colors. 3) checkout gives you an option to pay with paypal and also option to have receipt emailed. 4) don't try to scam on refunds - they have a video camera that zooms in on your face. 5) If you need a piece of wood they'll cut it into different sizes for you 6) out front is a station that has twine you can use for tie-downs on trunks or roofs. read more

He went above and beyond and truly seemed to careabout helping us out. He made some great recommendations and spent a great deal of time work us. He was very polite, patient and quite funny.
