This location is great, for the most part. Yes, a few employees know absolutely nothing about customer service. Good luck trying to find someone knowledgeable as well. However, there many great employees who try their best to help you out. The store is maintained pretty good. This location is good for a quick run in to get what you need but if you require anything in depth, that might present a challenge. read more

I suppose the days of the helpful and knowledgeable hardware guy are long gone, and we have entered the era of finding employees who will work cheap but don't actually know anything... That's not entirely true, there is one old guy that knows where everything is and how to best use it, but they have him in the screws and bolts section, doing inventory. Won't matter though, they don't stock replacement parts or accessories for most brands they sell... The saw over in lumber is out of order most days, but that doesn't matter because the one guy that has to help you is on break. The cashiers are friendly but you'll still get through a lot faster if you use the self checkout. Parking is atrocious. read more

Since Home Depot went to self-service the whole store went down hill. Both customer service and short on people on the floor to help with your projects. All the stores were so were very customer friendly, now all they want is to take your money to get you in and out. When you need help it takes a half of day to find someone. When you do they get out a phone and go to the web. Well tonto I could have stayed home and did the same. Well I do all my business at Ace were they have personal that have the knowhow and the knowledge of what you are working on. Thanks Franco, while you sat in the paint department on your phone rather than helping customers we wasted $80 on the wrong paint because we had no one to ask about paint. My wife asked him if this was what we needed but he looked at her and went back to texting on his phone without saying a word. Turned out we bought paint meant for a sprayer. We wasted an entire day rolling paint onto walls that would never blend properly. Now we can't return it and are stuck with a large bucket of paint we will never use. IF you can find an employee and that is harder than you think they usually have several other customers in front of you who has that kind of time ?... Not me I'm 76 yrs old I'd have to hope I outlive the other customers ahead of me. I gratefully have found Lowe's on Ocheechobie Blvd and they have a great bunch of employees willing to help and they even have phones in different multiple areas you can just pick up and request a attendant to come to jour assistance. Follow up from an earlier post: So, I have returned to Home Depot. Still the same process for employees doing inventory and not really knowing what's in the store. However, the store is frequently out of supplies on the shelves. When I talk to for employees, they look on their computers to see that there is stock in the store but cannot find it. In many cases I am told that me inventory is incorrect and unreliable. So, what is the point of having all these employees doing inventory when employees can neither find supplies that are Siberian stock and / or the inventory is wrong. Not sure what will happen with this post. I have become more and more frustrated with the Home Depot and there new staffing/business model . First they changed their checkout process. I understand the need to save money but sometimes when you eliminate jobs; that hurts everybody. I would have expected they would use some of those saved payroll dollars to enhance their floor associates. Now they've added some sales associates that absolutely no clue. Twice in the last week I have asked a store associate for help to find something and I was told that they "are just training and can't help me. Both times the employees just walked away from me. Years of being a loyal Florida customer buying thousands a month for my small business was told they could not return my products without a receipt. Their policy has been the same for years you could return a product without receipt as long as you use your drivers license. Store Manager Jay would not help me. "Says his hands are tided it's the new policy" looks like I'm taking my business across the street and to competitors that treat their loyal customers better. This Home Depot, like all of them, is filled with employees who don't know where anything is and don't know what they're talking about. However, if you do your research ahead of time and are persistent and polite, you can eventually get help, and also some really great recommendations on products and their uses, even when you don't know to ask. Without going into specifics (not wanting to get anyone into trouble) I've received exceptionally good help at this location on several different occasions. That said, still, it's a Home Despot, so need the persistence (and hence, lots of time) in order to get what you are looking for. Coming late on a weeknight when they're virtually empty doesn't hurt, either. read more

May not have the one your looking for.But do have all things needed to get the job done. The staff there is very friendly and helpful. Witch is not always the case at other stores. The parking lot at this store is very small.There is times that it's hard to find a parking space. This is a very busy Home Depot and it's always well stocked. My knock on this location is that despite an abundance of staff, it's generally hard to get help when you have a question. Once I did find someone they were great and gave me free delivery which was an added bonus. It's usually about $80 so that a win! Everything arrived intact and my order was complete. I am writing this review which actually is not against this particular Home Depot location, but Home Depot in general; I ordered a Generac full house generator on line and received an email stating that it would be delivered around June 12; this email also stated that when it was shipped, I would receive another email. I arrived home today from the grocery store to find that the generator had been delivered and placed in front of my garage door. No email/phone call advising me that it had been shipped nor that it was out for delivery. After spending approximately 2 hours on hold with customer service, I was transferred to a lady name Brianna. Her response to me was that she couldn't help me at all, that the order is delivered whenever as soon after it is shipped and there was nothing she could do about anything. I was hoping the least that would happen is that HD would return and move the generator from in front of my garage so I could at least put my car in it. No such luck. I then went onto the HD website to find an address to write a letter (and vent, if nothing else)...no address to be found. So, being persistent, I called customer service again, was on hold for 36 minutes and spoke with a lady that told me that there was no address that I could write to!!! I have been a customer with HD for over 15 years and spent thousands of dollars with this company. I am just SOOO disappointed that I found absolutely no satisfaction and nothing more than basically, "tough luck, lady!" If there was a way to give no stars, I would! read more

We spoke to 3 different employees that called for someone to come to the flooring aisle and for 20 minutes we stood waiting time after time as employees walked by and no one ever came to flooring to help. What an awful place!! Every time I drive to Home Depot to pick up and order I have to wait an hour. Tonight was the absolute worst or the worse experiences. I remained at the store one hour and a half after closing because NO ONE not even the supervisor was able to process a return for me. I ordered thousands of dollars worth of flooring to remodel my home and ended up with 23 boxes left and equivalent of 1,600 dollars and I drove to the store to make a return of the excess boxes. I provided receipts and the original payment method and still one one hour and a half later no one could process the return. Not even the supervisor and they dared to offer store credit (AWFUL). Long behold they sent us home and keep the product for tomorrow so another associate can try to process the return in the morning. I'm speechless I just cannot believe the amount of time I have wasted over the last two months at this store. Going to Home Depot has been by far the worst retail experience I have ever had. So, why choose this bank to manage a Credit Card of an iconic US retailer when clearly their interest in not the US consumer nor market?...go figure!. After spending close to over 100,000 with Home Depot for projects for my home, I paid to have someone estimate a tile job for me. After not hearing back, I attempted to follow up with my estimate. After spending hours on the phone, being switched to different people at least 25 times, they had no clue of my estimate and I was never able to get an estimate. Imagine spending that kind of money and they had no clue of my inquiry and spending at least 1 and 1/2 hour chasing my estimate they were totally clueless. This is a scary thought, especially in light of the fact that I had a pending order for hurricane windows. Needless to say, I cancelled windows as I have no desire to do business with incompetence. I'm sure there's a company more on the ball than they are. When I asked for my deposit for windows, I was informed that I paid for tile job. I only paid the fee for estimate and was trying to get the cost of the project. I, personally, have never seen such ia disaster and would suggest that you go for plan b. it is a Third-World Country Store; this store should not be in American but somewhere in Africa or South America. If you have a question to ask before you buy something good luck: the store is empty, obviously they care more about labor than their Costumers. Anytime you go there it seems like their employees are overwhelmed, frustrated.... Or they will tell you that "I don't Know" "let me call someone" " You have to wait". it is not their employees fault: they are just short handed. Worse is after 6 PM. Every Home Depot I go to I can never find one person to help me. This one is no different, and actually even worse. We needed blinds cut, every person I asked said they were with a customer but 5 minutes later I saw them just standing there talking to another coworker. We then spoke will a girl who called over speaker for someone to come help multiple times. Needless to say no one ever came although once again we saw employees standing doing nothing or just chatting with one another not even 10 feet away from where we were waiting. We left empty handed after waiting for 20 minutes with no help in sight. I will never shop at any home depot ever again and I will never recommend anyone to home depot ever again.
