Bait and Switch! If you order online and then say you'll pick-up in store, the price for certain items may be higher as they charge different prices for certain items on-line compared to in store. Tired of the games . . . will never enter ANY Home Depot again. read more

Came to buy lumber I bought in over $5000 in treated lumber this month sitting here for 20 boards for the last of 45 minutes trying to get a key to get it out of the store. Absolutely ridiculous and nobody has a key to open the back door to lumber department to get treated lumber. Completely disorganized and out of touch with how busy the store is today and nobody can open the door. read more

Hard to find prices. Have to open boxes yourself to see things like tile because they don't display one. Customer service is lacking. They answer your questions but seem to be bothered by you spending your money paying their salaries. read more

If you need building materials, this is the place to go. They have everything. The Gardening department can be pricier than Wal-Mart but sometimes the selection is better. Not to mention that returns here are easy and at Wal-Mart they are next to impossible! read more

Wasted a whole week of time dealing with the flooring department and management at the Moses Lake Home Depot. Like the other reviews on this page - our problems with them stemmed from complete incompetence or lack of customer service (except Assistant Manager Tory). The last straw was their system unable to process our credit card for payment - not our fault. We are fixing up a historic home in the area and have spent $10,000 in materials so far. We love Home Depot. It has everything you need to build small projects to huge renovations. We were able to get fast deliveries on our urgently need kitchen electrics. And yes returns are a breeze. I do wish they have more sales person. It takes 5 minutes to track down a sales person, and it takes them another 10 minutes to get a ladder, and then another 15 minutes to move something down from the shelves. Really guys, all I want is a BBQ. read more

One thing I know about this store is that MANY, not all, of the employees are just plain clueless, and far from being problem solvers. I have been building a huge deck and find myself in that store nearly every week throughout the summer. I just hesitate to ask questions anymore, I've been told so many times that "we can't do that" or just plain "I don't know" without so much of a call to someone who can solve the problem. Here is a great example from my last visit.....Recently I used the self check out and put in a $100 bill. The machine didn't have enough change so I told the young man who was overseeing the self check area. He called someone, then turned to me and said "It's going to be 15 to 20 minutes (before you will get your change)" because apparently the person who had the key for that register was at lunch. I honestly was not surprised to here this! LOL I was prepared and already had a solution for him which was to get the change out of one of the open checkstands and then return the money to that checkstand when the person with the keys could return. He wouldn't have it. "No I can't do that" Of course I understood he would need permission, but he didn't even ask his supervisor before telling me NO. Fortunately there was another, older employee who I have happily dealt with a couple times, and I wish so badly I could remember his name, but he heard my suggestion, and got right on that, I was out of the store in probably 2 minutes after telling him. Bottom line is the employees need to be better trained, and the ones who get hired need to have at least better common sense before they hit the sales floor. Other than these types of issues the store is stocked well, clean, prices are typical home depot prices, bathrooms are great etc, just I dread needing any assistance on anything, from loading pallets of material on my truck to having something cut to fit in my truck bed.....it just seems like the goal is to find a way to NOT make it work with most of these employees. read more

On March 28, 2020 I paid for an item online. I called the store and was told that it was ready for pick up that day. I drove to the neighboring town where our closest Home Depot is located. When I got there I noticed a long line out front. When I asked the employee managing the line if there was any way they could just bring my item out to me since I had my receipt and ID for verification. I was told they couldn't and that I would have to stand in line and wait. I looked at the line and customers were not standing 6 feet apart and I was the only one wearing a mask. I opted to drive back home without my item (35 mi round trip). I called the store again and asked them to please consider curbside pickup for small online prepaid orders and explained what happened. I was just told there was nothing they could do and to have a happy day!. The reason they gave was that their signature pads are not portable and can't go outside! I would think they could think of some other way to get a signature. The sad part is that my item was wire I was purchasing to use in the masks that I am making to donate. My paid for item is still sitting there. read more

Ordered 5 interior Jeld-Wen doors from Home Depot and paid for them on July 4th, 2017. Was told doors would be 4 weeks out. 8 weeks later we called to check on doors, and Home depot shared that the doors were in. We didn't receive the promised phone call. We picked up doors. 3 of the door we installed and look terrific. 1 was poorly assembled and 1 was too large for opening. Returned 2 doors and were told they would be reordered and we should receive them in 2 weeks. Home Depot called in 1 week and told us our doors were ready for pick up. Went to store and they tried to give us the same doors we had returned. Home Depot called a week later and the same thing happened. Then we discovered the new doors had yet to be ordered. This is after they have had our money since July and we had stripped off trim in our house in preparing for the door's installation. Was not pleasant that we had a memorial in our house for my mother and had to explain why we were in a state of remodel. We were then told by Home Depot, that the custom doors from Jeld-Wen didn't come in custom measurements previously promised. We would either have to demo into our walls or fur out the opening to allow for a smaller door. These options were never discussed when paying for our doors. Because we had become disgruntled, Home Depot said that we could get the remaining 2 doors installed free of charge. The installer measured and left saying, "Now all you have to do is pick out your doors and I'll install." At this point we were hoping this would happen before Thanksgiving. No doors for our Thanksgiving family gathering! Still no doors for our Christmas family gathering! After the new year, we received a vague response about when we could expect the doors to arrive. As of the first of February, we were told the doors had finally arrived and an installer would be calling us in 2 days. 4 days later we called and were told "We don't know what's going on. Call us back in a week." Seems like we've been working harder than Home Depot. Jeld-Wen has absolutely failed Home Depot and several broken Home Depot statements have failed us. Vanessa has tried to help, the manager has tried to help but the truth is it's been 7 months since we ordered and paid for our doors. We can't cancel the order due to not being able to match the doors already installed so we are stuck waiting for doors that were bought and paid for already. Gee, I wonder if we'll get our doors installed before our son's wedding reception that will be held at our home in June 2018. We will not likely go to Home Depot for any future projects. read more

It's a Home Depot. Just like every Home Depot in the country. They typically have what you need because they have pretty much everything. Their prices are good and they have kid workshops on the weekends throughout the spring and summer. :) read more

I think that they have alot of product choices which is great and just about any kind of do it yourself project could be purchased here, the only problem is alot of the employees working there are not very helpful, we were looking at flooring and we went over to the help desk and stood in plain view of two young girls who did not appear to be helping anyone else, they let me stand there for 10 minutes before they finally offered some help and then they didn't seem to have any knowledge of the products at all and spent all of 3 minutes helping us, and they were not friendly at all. We did finally track down someone who was nice had more knowledge but it took persistence. read more

I am not sure why I've given the Moses Lake Home Depot 3 chances when it comes to appliance orders. This last time I ordered a WHITE dishwasher and not only did I receive a black dishwasher but it was also 3 weeks late. I need it asap for a home I'm about to rent out. Spoke to the manager and he said he'd help me by giving me a discount. I don't care for a discount, I care for a white dishwasher at my house asap. They changed the order and all I received was an automated call instead of a call from the manager and they couldn't even put a rush on it. I will be getting the dishwasher after the 1st (when the house was suppose to be ready) and apparently that's the soonest they can do... if the weather allows. I am so frustrated, the first time a fridge we ordered arrived damaged so they returned it without even letting us know what was happening. I finally called after waiting almost a month. So unprofessional and careless. read more
