We had the Home Depot contractors come and refinish our kitchen. Reface cabinets, new cupboard doors, and a peninsula built. The sales guy Andrew (who said "I'm not a typical sales guy") was extremely pleasant btw told us for an order placed on 9-24-2025, we would be completed for that Thanksgiving. Construction started on 12-29-2025 and I signed the complete paperwork in February or March. We were told we shouldn't have been told that from our not-sales guy. Too much to say here. Bottom line is we are extremely disappointed with most of it. Things don't line up, cupboard doors needed to be reordered at least twice, soft close hinges and slides get stuck and the material chips very easily. For $20k plus, we feel taken with the poor quality and length of time taken to complete ESPECIALLY being told a lie. And of course no one will return our calls or emails. Less than a year ago bought a universal smoke and fire alarm with a ten year guarantee, it has already given out. Turns out it was manufactured in 2015. It should never have been on the shelf. With a 10 year guarantee for the battery I tried to return it and as they no longer sell it. I am out of luck. They will not swap one and they will not refund me. Was told it would be in around March 25th. March 25th, I went to the store found it still wasn't in. I asked for refund. I was told no refund until it arrived at the store?! I asked for a manager because I couldn't believe that a national chain would charge me (credit card was billed the 12th) for something they couldn't supply, then refuse a refund. Guess what? The manager said the same thing! I eventually called their 800 number and Miguel was able to cancel the order for me. Are the staff at Home Depot stupid? Incompetent? Both? Can you believe we have THREE DrillMaster cordless drills with three batteries, and now each battery is DEAD. In warmer temperatures we are active with a lot of home projects and improvements, so we DO need a drill. We have found out long ago when there's two working together, two (or more) drills can be very helpful. A neighbor has everything Ryobi and loves his Ryobi drill, and it looked like it could work out well for us too, so we went searching for our new drill at our local Home Depot. We eventually found the one we wanted, a 18v 1/2-inch Ryobi One+ drill kit BUT it was OUT of stock. That makes sense since it seems to be everyone else' favorite drill too, and much lighter than our past drills. Mark helped us, first advising us of a Home Depot about 35 mins away by car with the drill in stock. We weren't wanting to drive that far, so as you could imagine, we were quite disappointed. Unbelievably, Mark then stated we could get a similar model at a great price. We took his advice, and he then lowered the price of this in-stock drill kit to the price of the model we wanted that was out of stock, and we really appreciated his effort to help us get what we wanted, and seriously I guess he saw the disappointment on our faces. Within minutes, we were VERY happy when we walked out with our new drill and wanted Mark and Home Depot to know how much we appreciated the outcome of this experience! Had a horrible experience with their appliance department which would really make me think twice about ordering any appliance from Home Depot ever, ever, ever again, but overall the experience in this store is fine. Aside from their appliance logistics, every employee has always been nice and helpful. Special shout out to the guys in the wood/carpentry department for being extra cool and helpful. Their staff have helped me load in a grill to a van and really gone above and beyond while helping out. So skip the appliances, but fan for other building needs. read more

So at the end of June, I bought a canopy from Home Depot, to use at my grandson's birthday party. When we opened it up, one of the struts was broken. So we took it down to contact Home Depot about it. While we were taking it down, several more pieces of it broke. We noted that the aluminum of the frame broke where they had screws thru it, and that the aluminum was rusted. So a couple of days after the party, I contacted Home Depot regarding this issue. Note that the Canopy is a Hampton Bay canopy, which is Home Depot's brand. They gave me a case number and requested that I send pictures of the damages. On July 7, I sent pictures of the damaged struts to Home Depot, clearly showing the rusted ends where it had broken. On August 16th, I sent a follow up email, noting that Home Depot had not responded to me. This canopy cost me $193.32 and Home Depot could not be bothered to respond to me. This is just another example of corporate America not caring about their customers, because they know that they will still make money off the others out there. Anyway, don't EVER buy Home Depot brand goods. They will not stand behind their products. read more

Ive been here a few times over the past few years. Its just off the thruway at the same exit as the Outlet Mall. Its not my fav Home Depot, but its done well in a pinch a few times. Parking here can be hit or miss, depends on what time you go. I have a hard time finding things at this HD location, and also finding staff who are able to help. However, like all HDs it does carry many things, and if you have time you will likely find what you came for. Maybe a few other things too, since you may wander around looking for what you came for. You know how that goes, you end up finding things you didn't plan on buying. read more

This place is horrible. All they care about is the sale. Bought a dishwasher that installation was rescheduled for twice. Waited weeks just to have someone come out, took off work and all. I've been to this store several times and have found the staff to be knowledgeable and friendly. On my most recent visit in search of a replacement washer hose, I was greeted at the door and then wandered inside looking at the electric fireplace heaters and meandering down the aisle. An employee walking up behind me asked if I would like some help finding something. I showed him the attachment piece for the hose that I had brought with me, and he quickly escorted me to the correct department and turned me over to someone who could help me further. The second gentlemen looked at my attachment, took me directly to the exact hose I needed, even opened the package for me to make sure it fit properly, and asked if there was anything else I needed help with. The experience was very pleasant, and as I walked to the register I saw the first gentleman who had helped me. I thanked him and said that I had found exactly what I needed. He smiled and said "I apologize for the convenience." Indeed. Thank you again. read more

I purchased a dishwasher from this store. I waited 10 days for them to deliver. When the people showed up to install the dishwasher, they looked at my old washer and said nope, we won't take it out, it LOOKS impossible. They left. We managed to take the dishwasher out in 5 minutes ourselves. I called the delivery company and begged them to return, bring back MY dishwasher and install it. They refused. They wanted me to wait another 5 days. I called the store and they just didn't do anything for me. I called another local store and they will bring me a new washer in 2 days. Buyers be aware when using the self check out. (I went to Home Depot in Niagara Falls, at 750 Builders Way Niagara Falls, NY 14304), the attendant who is supposed to help you with your self check out experience, instead, I found at my check out, he was adding more pieces than I actually scan by applying a multiplier if he suspected there were more parts that I actually scanned. All of that, without even saying one word to me or asking if had more than one piece! It was not until I was trying to void the item, he confessed to what he was doing! OMG! I asked to speak to a manager, then the lady assisting him said she was, I went to customer service, and they produced some one claimed to be the manager, I am suspecting none of them was the store manager, and I got no real answer expect (he is sorry he was caught!) I will never use the self check out, and I will check my orders at Home Depot, especially this one on 750 Builder (or cheaters!) drive in Niagara Falls, NY. The attendant was very rude, unlike what I usually experience at this store! He was talking to me as I was no body! to find out later that not only he was rude, he also failed addition, and was practicing his multiplication on my order. He said he has little training, but, he was doing what he is doing, practicing his multiplication on real customers' orders! he clearly failed addition in the first place! I asked him what was the item he was adding a multiplier for, he said he did not know what it was called, however, he clearly was suspecting there were two of the unknown t him item!! Home Depot I give you 5 thumbs down. I've been a customer at Home Depot for many years, and as a building contractor purchased an awful lot of building supplies! and have a Home Depot credit card. When I shopped there, I either paid with cash or my card.Recently I purchased a DeWalt drill with cash, and within a few weeks the drill became defective. So I looked for the receipt, but couldn't find it? so I went to the store where I purchased it, and explained to them my situation. they said sorry you must have a receipt! Well I was somewhat disturbed, and asked for a manager. when he showed up about 10 minutes later.....I was already upset about having to wait so long, then he tells me "without a receipt I can't help you"? So I took my defective Drill, came home, and waited a few days then made several calls within a 2 hour period to Home Depot, customer service, and cooperate with NO RESULTS! they kept routing my call to others. So I told them shove your service, and your policies and then I called their credit card service, and cancelled my service. Needless to say "if " I bought this at Lowes, or Walmart I would have been able to exchange my drill for another even without a receipt! Goodbye Home Depot, your lack of Kindness, and poor discretion has given you some well needed feedback. SO stick your Legalistic Policies up yours! P.S. I have talked with countless others who have purchased products from Home Depot with the same issue, and they agree with me... POOR CUSTOMER RELATIONS = LOUSY BUSINESS. This staff, this location goes out of it's way to be unhelpful, and makes too many mistakes to be a successful location. They screw up delivery services. They state military are provided discounts but their policy is arbitrary it seems. If you open a line of credit and are supposed to get 10% you'll have to follow up and correct them because it won't be done correctly. Load and Go are used for employees to do business work but are for customers to rent. If you rent after employee there will be trash you pick up. I ordered and appliance everything I'm still correcting their messes and still no fridge pick up. There is no Customer service just adults and kids who happen to be behind the desk who treat you like you are bothering their hang out time. I will do my best to never give this company another cent and give me headaches. read more

Horrible! Horrible! I had an order due Feb. 23. I followed up on my order with an online chat. Was told the delivery truck was at the store and would be notified when it was ready. Four hours later I called the Niagara Falls store to once again follow up with my order. I was told the truck had not arrived and that my order was due Feb. 23 and I would be notified when it was ready. This happened yesterday FEBRUARY 26. I just cancelled my order and business account, which by the way went very smoothly. Go figure, it was easier to get my money back and stop doing business with Home depot than it was to give them my money. Quite the business model. read more

On the one hand, I love my Home Depot store. Some of the workers have been here so long I know them on sight, and they have loads of experience. However, I made the mistake of ordering windows through the window arm of Home Depot. These people use the Home Depot name but have no affiliation. I have spent 10 months trying to get out from under a contract they breached by installing the wrong windows. Further, I utilized the Home Depot Credit Card through Citibank. To make a long story short, after they breached the contract and a settlement agreement, they got together with Citibank to create false charges on the credit card (1st time), in order to coerce me to negotiate a settlement, then breached the settlement agreement (2nd time), charging the card again claiming I breached, then colluded with Citibank to literally create a new credit card, without my authorization, after I disputed the old one and even closed the account, meanwhile forced to shut down my entire credit file to stop this fraud. I am about to sue them for credit damage to my perfect credit, but to say the least was strong armed by both an Atlanta, GA attorney working unlawfully from out of state to coerce me into thinking I had no rights, and then a NYC law firm, which attempted to do the same. Further, the bond they were required to have by NY law, they didn't have. I didn't even know there was supposed to be a bond, because the notifications they were required to provided by law were never provided, including the existence of the bond, an accrual fund for all deposits, and a 36 hour right to cancel. To make a long story short, under no circumstances do you want to deal with any of the "arms" of Home Depot. They did massive damage to my window frames, my credit, and prevented me from selling my home because everything had to be fixed or the home's resale value was severely affected. They misrepresented their products and failed to stand behind their work, denying perfectly obvious mistakes. Its discouraging that Home Depot aligns themselves with disreputable companies who claim to provide custom windows, when in fact, they don't. They provide tiny windows, with large custom frames, to fit the tiny windows into the big hole. Then if you are dissatisfied, as you hold a flashlight in the middle of the day because there is no light left in the room (not even exaggerating), they tell you its your fault for signing up. I lost thousands of dollars that I now have to go fight for. Take it from me, don't do it. Find a reputable company like Braymiller Builders. They are more expensive, so negotiate hard, but they do exceptional work and sell an exceptional product. read more

Worst experience of my life. WILL NOT BE RETURNING! I bought a fridge ,oven and washer at Home Depot. I spent $1,674.25. The fridge was suppose to be delivered yesterday December 17 between the hours of 8:15 -12:15. My husband took a half day off a work to be there. 12:00 rolls around and no one if there or no phone call was made. So i called Home Depot. They said that spirit logistics was delivering it and i needed to call them. Okay. I called spirit. The rude women who answered my phone call said they never showed a delivery for my address. I told her that i thought that was funny because your company called me Saturday December 15 to give us the time frame. She said "oh i see it right here, the DRIVER called in sick. So we pushed back your delivery til the 21st". It is Christmas time. My family is going to be out of town. So once again our delivery would be put back another week. Now my family has gone 3 weeks WITHOUT a fridge. My 8 year old daughter has been living off of microwaveable meals. NO ONE CALLED ME TO TELL ME THE DELIVERY DRIVER CALLED IN SICK! My husband lost 4 hours of pay because of there negligence. I called Home Depot headquarters they could NOT do anything about it! Never offered a gift card for the trouble NOTHING. So i called the Niagara Falls Home Depot and cancelled EVERYTHING we ordered from there. $1,674.25 Home Depot just lost because of spirts negligence! When i called Home Depot to cancel everything the nice women on the phone said that this isn't the first call Home Depot got today about spirit. So because of spirit i WILL not be returning. I will make the 45 minute drive to Lowe's if anything is needed. Home Depot should be ashamed for continuing to use this company after several calls have been made about them! read more
