I went to Home Depot again to get some potting soil and pot for my mom. I went after a fun fiesta at Azteca Del Oro. I got my stuff and was very happy to see an attendant was able to check my stuff out quickly. I foolishly hurt my arm quite a bit after riding the you know what, so I asked if there was someone who can help take my items to my car. They went above and beyond to find another person who helped me carry my items to my car and put them in my trunk. Because of this, I am upping my rating to a 4. It's definitely much better than the Lowe's a few blocks away. The prices are cheaper than Amazon and highly available, which I needed in a jiffy. Good- lots of plants, staff will happily direct you to your desired item. Veterans discount is easy to initiate now. Bad- it can be challenging to find a staff member. A store director on the app would be great. The ugly- parking lot is full of men waiting in groups and glare at you as you pass by. I was fine but I'd never send my wife or sister there. read more

My husband ordered a dishwasher to be delivered on Christmas eve as a surprise for me. He payed for install and take away with the product. My husband called multiple times leading up to delivery day to confirm that they would install and take away to which they confirmed yes. The delivery drivers showed up at 6:30am on Christmas eve my husband was told he would get a call thirty minutes before hand. The driver said they called but it was three minutes before arrival. When the drivers talked to my husband they said it was a drop off only. My husband explained he confirmed that it was install and take away the old one. The driver was very rude and asked if we wanted it or not he said no not until he could get this figured out and the driver proceeded to throw the new unit we ordered into the back of the delivery truck and stormed off. This was the most unprofessional behavior i had seen. There was no heads up, no communication, and our order was now damaged...the order we payed good money for. The Home Depot itself gave us the run around saying yes, we payed for install and haul away, someone else said no we did not, even though there was confirmation given to us. I am extremely disappointed and will be going to lowes for all future purchases. The dishwasher that was supposed to be a surprise Christmas gift is now broken in the back of a random delivery truck and money now wasted.... Merry Christmas. read more

Today I lock the wires in a cage (I agree with creating barriers against theft) but I've been here waiting for an employee to pick up a roll of wire for me for over 30 minutes and no one can help. what do we see? employees walking, talking and NOBODY to pick up a thread. the store manager saw me waiting and DIDN'T HAVE THE COURAGE TO STOP TO HELP ME. the waitress who was restocking (very kind) asked him to resolve the situation. HE WOULD STOP TO ASK ME WHAT I WANTED. and that is a "manager". if you want to prove what I'm saying. Today, June 11th, I'm wearing a pink t-shirt at 9:43am writing this text. I bought a refrigerator, washer and dryer in September 8th and I schedule the delivery to October 5th. on October 1st I received an email rescheduling to October 25th. I call them and the man in the phone reschedule to October 10th But today, October 3rd, I receive another e-mail rescheduling again to October 25th. So that`s how The Home Depot care about costumers. This place needs to get it together. Even if they could keep their inventory straight they make a mess of orders. I've gone there for items shown to be in stock in large amounts and they can't find them-- that's dozens if not hundreds of items -- even when they and I are both searching the upper shelves for the unopened boxes. I've made pick-up orders where they swapped in other products (e.g. a two-pack of bug spray swapped out for a single can of another product. How is this a two-pack?) I've even had an order canceled indicating I canceled it --myself-- when they should (as their competitors do, and other HD stores) let me know the item is not in stock in that store. In the best-case scenario, this is just untrained employees that can be trained, but it appears this is they way they roll. Customer service is also a trainwreck. I recently had a condescending guy in plumbing tell me I needed this and that when the part I ultimately needed was --exactly-- what I had already in my cart. I bought a bunch of stuff due to this guy and just had to return it. Avoid this store. read more

Yo Home Depot- this store has to get on its game!!! I love Home Depot, and have been a loyal customer for years... BUT, I just moved to Ocoee, and the HD here on Colonial just made me want to leave. The store is in shambles, and everything is a mess! It looks like they started to restock almost the entire store, and just quit half way thru. You can barely get thru the aisles because so much junk is cluttering the aisles. There was broken glass on the display light fixtures. Half of them were missing- I have never been in a Home Depot store that has been so disorganized. I don't know who the manager is, but they need to come up with a new game plan as to how to get this store in shape. I'm guessing that this location only survives because of the name in orange letters out front. I'm taking the time to write this, because I want to see this location pull it together, and start to look respectable, because as of now, it doesn't. read more

The home depot. Not much has changed over the years except the self check out option and fewer assistant "Helpers". A couple of the isles I was down last visit were a little dim in lighting for me. Sprinkler parts and the such require more scrutiny and reading of descriptions, sizes and what not. They really need to kick up the lumens a bit on these isles at least. I've had two experiences with this store and both were sad. Employees were on their cell phones when they were at the information desk. We were looking for screens and the young man at the masonry desk was with another customer and said he would be back shortly. After waiting for approximately 10 minutes we go back to the desk the employee is gone. Another lady saw us and went to check the break room and couldn't find him, so she overhead paged him. Another worker cane by and said oh he was cutting wood. So evidently he was doing the work for two positions. With this I decided to leave. read more

home depot delivery of stackable washer dryer was a complete disaster only because the drivers are not trained.the driver did not nhook up the hot water and the driver did not know how to push the machine and to twist the machine away from the wall. the driver got stuck behind the washer dryer.later I discovered there was no hot water. it was taking over 3 hours to dry a load. home depot sent a service person and that person got stuck behind the machine and to get out he disconnected the machine so I had to pay a plumber 220 dollars that tried to charge 300 dollars as if it was a new installation.all the home depot installers said I needed 8 foot cords because they got stuck behind the machine. the plumber showed me how you pull and twist the machine out from the wall and that the 6 foot cords were correct. when home depot delivered the machine was dented and there was a sock against the wall of the washer.they actually delivered a dented and used machine. getting my delivery installed correctly I had to hire a plumber. home depot said they would handle the claim I had with their insurance co sedgewick and have ne hold on the phone 10 minutes. home depot said they will handle my claim and call me within 72 hour.waiting and calling forn3 weeks. sedgewick said they never got the claim from home depot and sedge wick said I need to call home depot to get the claim number. I call home depot and the customer service person says sedgewick wont handle your type of claim. home depot tries to give you the run around. this lady home depot says general electric has to handle your damaged machine which was a lie . in the past I made a mistake calling general electric and they told me if you bought the machine directly from home depot you need to do your claims directly with home depot. the only true solution with home depot on many issues is through a lawyer or small claims court. my issues started with home depot november 2 2024 and it is now February 5 2025. a lot of time waisted with home depot . read more

I like this store a lot. There's always something I need and always someone to help me find it, whether it's paint, drywall, hardware or plumbing, if you need it, this store has it! The staff is always friendly and helpful and willing to help, too. That is a HUGE thing to me, compared to their competitor a couple of miles away. Okay, I will just say it: YES, I am a middle-aged woman in a mostly male hardware supply store. Thankfully, Home Depot never makes me feel like I am out of place being in the store. The staff is always HELPFUL and KIND, but more importantly, they DO NOT make me feel stupid! They answer my questions and help me succeed at what I am trying to do! I really LIKE that!!!! If a staff member sees me purchasing something that they know needs an additional piece to make the project go well, they will ASK, 'well, do you have paint rollers already' [for example], and OH! How that question has saved me from getting home only to realize I needed the missing piece of the puzzle!!!!! They are not trying to up-sell me, but they are helping me be successful and I truly appreciate it!!!!! Though most of my recent purchases have been made at HOMEDEPOT.COM, it's nice to know I can go into this store for guidance and help with any tweaks that need to be done in our home renovation projects. The prices at this store are what I expect and there is usually an item on sale that I can't pass up, whether I have an immediate need for it or not. I LIKE that, too! So, thank you Home Depot W. Asking around, no one could really help me find what I was looking for, so it was up to me to weave in and out of aisles until I found it. With my one item, i headed to the registers and the lines were so long. I'm a patient person so no big deal. One of the managers did come by and apologize for the wait. However today we wanted to buy new tools and we stood there for 40 minutes looking and not one person tried to help us. Once we finally decided they couldn't find the item we wanted even though online it shows you have 6 in stock. When getting help the person helping us stopped multiple times to help others. This Home Depot gets really busy at times, but the staff is always very helpful, never a problem finding the type lumber cart you need, shelves are stocked better than some other Home Depots, and the isles are typically kept free from items waiting to be stocked. The only downside of the design of this Home Depot is they have no dedicated Pro Loading area like most newer Home Depot stores have. All in all a good store read more
