Order pickup should save you time. Not waiting for an hour (arrived at 9pm and left at 10pm) with not much more than a brief "oh sorry." Let's start from the beginning, unfortunately, the Home Depot app did not save and use my preferred and saved Home Depot location when I place the order. Shame on me for not double checking. Sadly it would have required an act of Congress to change my order to the correct store. The employee at the pickup counter was nice and helpful. But when it came time to actually locate my order they seemed very lost and for one of my items they didn't even recognize the location. Another person was called to help and disappeared for 10 minutes and came back to say they looked everywhere and couldn't find it. They went to look again and couldn't find it. They got a manager when I told them I needed it tomorrow and they would need to deliver to my house. The manager was helpful but not very apologetic and he went with someone else to go find it. Another 15mins go by and someone comes over to tell me the manager found it! Another 10mins go by...meanwhile the manager never comes back over to me and but stood nearby within earshot. Other employees around him were remarking about how long I had been there. The lack of urgency or care was apparent. Finally the order comes out. What I ordered was heavy and clearly on the box a two person lift, yet no one offered to help me. They just said here's your order and walked away. Thankfully some nice person in the parking lot helped me. I will never shop at this Home Depot again and seriously considering no longer shopping at Home Depot in general. read more

A-Ok! Everything was exactly as expected while we were here. We were looking for a few supplies for our house to take care of some yard work during this time of "social distancing." The store was well organized, and they were out of several items like toilet paper, paper towels, and cleaning supplies, which was to be expected. We were able to find a few of the things we were looking for with relative ease and check out via the self checkout, which had additional hand sanitizer stations and wipes. We didn't really interact with any staff during our visit, but we did see them about the store helping others. Overall: B+ A-OK location that was well organized and clean. read more

I rented a pressure washer fromnthebtool rental department. When I got it home, the line pumping water was broken. I got it back to the store just before closing, 1 hour and 44 minutes later. Everyone was nice but they still charged me for 4 hours despite the unit clearly not working. I was told the best they could do was take 50% off because I had the unit for 1 hour 44 minutes and i didnt call to let them knowni was bringingit back (that's not on the contract at all). So I'm out $40 and my sidewalk is still dirty. I won't rent from them again but I will buy a pressure washer...from Lowes. read more

This is the worst Home Depot and customer service experience I have received. Bought an apartment for my UCF college daughter. Appliances Salesperson ignored us until we asked for help. Bought a refrigerator and range to be delivered in 2 days. Home Depot does not install refrigerator and leave it at the apt. Salesperson did not tell us we had to buy installation. Spoke with 800# and manager Martin who was unhelpful and had me making 3 phone calls taking about 3 hours. Cancel order and still waiting on refund. We lucked out to find no line when we arrived (social distancing). They were spraying down the carts with disinfectant before bringing them into the store. The store was well organized and stocked. We found what we came for and was in and out in no time. The employees were very nice, happy and smiling, and laughing, considering having to work during the COVID-19 crisis. this store is actually pretty decent. nice in it comes to an order pick not really we've shot the store on the general contractor license and bothered in the state of Florida and also licensed and bonded electrician. We travel all over the country and and bothered in different states. I've spent close to $1 million the Home Depot in two and we've had a wait for our orders to be ready. It takes 60 minutes longer. We walked in there last year. We stopped using the Home Depot for everything. We paid off our balance and walked away from the Home Depot as a pro card holder, but it would take an hour more to get the products and I don't have time to I get paid per job. I have a $6 million company. We deserve to get our products on time our building materials they're building materials department. Here is worst there you know they don't have anything they the website and in the have this we walk in don't have what we're looking for and it's not things that we buy that anybody else would buy we buy all kinds of pavers from them originally we stopped because they were all broken on one pallet. The manager doesn't care of the store does I mean they're trying to make a profit for the store so they can get a kickback I know that for a fact as a hater of the Home Depot somebody who will never shop here we're Mexican and Hispanic, and we think of their profiling us and all they think many many many stores think that contractors who are Spanic in know where everything in the store is all the stores and they don't wanna help that much we had last June we had to have something taken down from a pallet. Friendly staff members, always find what I'm looking for. It is not the largest home Depot in the city but also is great that is never super busy. On the other hand, it is one of the newest stores in Orlando so it is clean and new. Great opening hours, large parking spots available and is next to staples and fast food chain restaurant to get quick bite if you're planning a long project. read more

I have been to my local Home Depot on Narcoossee several times. I see some mixed reviews but my experience has always been good. The staff has always been more than pleasant and very helpful. I have placed several online orders and both have always been correct and ready for pickup after two hours. They have a great selection of plants and supplies which has made my home projects easy and enjoyable. I would recommend any locals to use the Narcoossee location and if your in a time crunch place an online order earlier and pickup quicker. read more

Immensely rude electronics department manager more concerned with proving his customer wrong than helping them out. He actually had an item stocked and on the shelf for which there was no SKU number. I was told we can't sell you that we don't stock it there's no SKU number it shouldn't be on the shelf. I showed him where I pulled it off the shelf, yeah it shouldn't be there he said. I could not get any service. I wanted to buy a weed trimmer and stood in the isle for a while and saw no one. I walked around and around the store and could not see anyone anywhere. But, there was two workers in the Isle I needed help in and they were both loading items off a palate into the isle setting up displays. I was there long enough for both of them to see me and I know they were both ignoring, so I was not going to ask them for help. I am not going to ask for help from someone who does not want to help me. Finally I caught someone who called for help on my isle. No one came. I walked around again and finally walked to the register area and asked for help. They called for assistance on my isle again. No one came. I went back to the isle and saw this person who looked like a manager telling the two guys ,who ignored me, how she wanted the items stacked. I also saw this same person telling two others how she wanted the displays placed when I had walked to the register. I walked pasted her a few more times to make sure she saw me and still nothing. She seemed more concerned about how the displayed were being placed than she did helping customers buy thing so the store could make money. I seemed like she had everyone tied up with displays that there were no workers in sight to do anything else. I finally had wasted enough time so I left and went to Home Depot at Waterford Lakes. The first Home Depot was the one at Hoffner and Lee Vista. At Waterford Lakes, I walked in went to the isle to see if the produce I wanted was there and it was. Within less than two minutes an employee came around the corner and asked if I needed help. I asked for the price of the week trimmer and he asked if this was the one. I said yes and he walked me up to the front of the store for me to pay. The whole process took only minutes. The cashier asked if I was military and I said yes, but I always forget to sign up, so she said she could do it right there and she did, so I also got my military discount. How is that for service. The other thing is the worst delivery system ever if they don't answer the phone the will not deliver the item until next week again!... they call the wrong number so it doesn't matter they will deliver again next week... you can't pick up the hour you want the item to be delivered they will pick it up for you and call the night before to ask you if you want to change the hour. If you don't pick up or the call does not come in, they will deliver first time in the morning, I m sorry they will call first time in the morning to confirm delivery, but they won't even get to your address and try to deliver for real. They just go they didn't answer ok let move on to the other one! That's a easy job... And for the chat I think we need live chat.. it takes too much time to do what we need and for me I could never do what I needed with the chat. My husband and I needed customer service help for an outdoor grill we wanted to purchase. Luckily, we were helped by Janian Gonzalez. This young women couldn't have been more pleasant or helpful. She worked with us for a good hour or two because the credit card didn't go through because of a system error. The order had to be processed twice with their online help. She made a very unpleasant purchase, a pleasant one. If it wasn't for her, we would have walked out. Worst Service Ever!! I placed an order online two days ago, today I went to pick it up, I went to the pick up station: 1. There was no one in line! 2. The cashiers was talking with her coworker and none of them where able to say "I'll be right with you In a second. 3. So I stood there standing up in line in front of this lady for about 3 minutes in COMPLETE SILENCE. She kept talking with the coworker and on the phone with a client that she also put on hold. 4. When I got mad and tired of waiting I said " can someone help me since I've been here couple of minutes and no one has said at least HI or one momento please. Said that she started to argue with me back! That she said it. 5. I also said "no you didn't". 6. At this point she hold everything and said "what I can help you". 7. Considering its Home Depot, where employees are not allowed to help you, and can't help even if they tried, assuming you found one. I walk in the attitude it is a self help store and the orange apron people are just there to make sure theft is kept to a minimum and re-stock items, not there to help you. The only exception to this is the folks behind the paint counter. They are awesome. That being said, its a great place to get what I need, once I find it. I great tip I found is if you pull up the Home Depot website, and search for the item looking for, it will often give you the isle and bay where it is located in the store. I once asked as employee where an item was, and they pulled out their phone and looked it up online. Thanks?!? Never get keys made at Home Depot. They never work. Go to a lock smith or a small family owned hardware store for keys, as those machines are calibrated better so you get a key that actually works. read more

Original review: 3 Stars I'm replacing vanities in two bathrooms and chose Home Depot for my purchases because of price. One vanity was in stock and one was a ship-to-store option so I purchased both online with plans to pickup at the same time. The date the ship-to-store vanity would arrive changed twice and then became a bit unreliable so I decided to get started with the one in stock. Once home I opened the package to find the vanity cabinet with no sink, knobs, or screws. Please note, this all was supposed to be included. When contacting the customer service desk by phone to explain, they were very sympathetic and helpful with rectifying the situation. We were told this box was used to fix the existing store display the was damaged but apparently didn't get appropriately marked as such. This store might have made a mistake but they took full responsibility and made it right and that should be noted. Unfortunately it required me to reload the vanity in my truck and drive back out but I was able to exchange it for the last one in stock without additional issue. But wouldn't you know it...as soon as I got back home for the second time, I received an alert that my ship-to-store vanity had just arrived. Needless to say,I got to know that store pretty well. Update 2/14/18: 2 Stars I pulled out my ship-to-store vanity that was reportedly inspected per my request since there was an issue with the other vanity and the sink was cracked and the cabinet was smashed. I needed a plumber for this particular install so a second damaged vanity not only cost me more money as the plumber had to wait but it caused me unnecessary frustration. I had to load it, return it, and pick out a new one which of course was not my first choice since the damaged model still wasn't in stock. This obviously wasn't inspected as requested. July 24, I Paid Home Depot salesman David a $1885.00 down payment for a $7500 for 5 windows for my home. I was told someone would be out within 2 or 3 days to get a final measurement of the windows. It is now August 14 and still no contact. I hired another company already but can't get my money back from Home Depot on Narcoosee Rd. Have attempted to find Salesman David, without success as he left no contact phone number. Julie in the Millworks Dept who i was referred to says she would have the store Mgr handle it, and the Manager who said he would have to talk to the Salesman and their Corporate Office. It's August 14, 2018 and I still don't have a remedy and have not been contacted. I wanted to use Home Depot because I thought they were a reliable business because of the size of the Company. I have had many projects done by Home Depot purchased at this location. Floors, carpeting, doors, A/C and more. In September I purchased new kitchen appliances with delivery and installation. The installation crew had a very difficult time mostly because they appeared to be Inexperienced.. Upon completion the refrigerator was running rather loudly which they told me was normal until the temperature stabilized. 24 hours later I find the noise was the waterline into the house was broken when they hooked it up. Water was running behind the wall for an entire day. I got a plumber at 11pm ton fix the waterline and paid the bill. I notified everyone involved the next day. Over a 4 week period I was consistently lied to about who was handling the claim. Over and over I called spending hours trying to get a resolution. The transport company referred to an insurance company who referred me back to the transport company who sent me back to Hone Depot. No one at the store would help. No one at the store would give me the number of a district manager or a corporate number. I was told 8 weeks later that my plumber should have opened the wall to look for damage and since he didn't it wasn't there problem. So disappointing to have trust in a company and be treated so poorly. Beware of purchasing with installation at Home Depot. As far as they are concerned, even though you paid them, they have nothing to do with the third parties they contract with to do your work. Never again. read more

The replacement of our home unit is our costly $$$ 2018 Summer Nightmare! "Doing it Right the First Time" is a Quality Standard that the Home Depot sub-contractor never heard of. If you need a new central AC from HOME DEPOT Installation Services, be aware! After 4 visits to correct initial deficiencies, a failed first County Permit Inspection (waiting for the second one), a still pending item under contract not yet done to "Check and Seal All Accessible Ducts", and a furnace that looks like a Frankenstein due to the many "band-aids", tapes, mastic dripping, and additional insulation around it... we highly regret having their sub-contractor ARS fulfill the purchase/contract we made at this Home Depot store. Having dedicated workers with good intentions doing installations is simply not good enough. They need to receive clear & specific work orders to meet ALL items in the client's contract. Never ever again!!! Hope we can wake up from our HOME DEPOT / ARS poor business practices nightmare. I write reviews either good or bad not to complain but because I believe in feedback. I was at the Narcoossee store today for about an hour. Customer service is horrendous. I tried to find things on my own, however being 7 months pregnant I rather asked for help rather than wasting time. I was on the hardware aisle and asked two ladies in the self checkout area to please call someone to help me. I waited for over 10 minutes with no help. Then again I asked the same ladies and one of them looked at me like I was bothering her. That's when Victor came into the aisle with a lady he was helping and the lady employee asked him to help me, to which he replied he was helping the lady and after he could help me. Meanwhile, I saw two other employees talking near me and I asked them for help. Then the young lady replied, I'm don't work in hardware. However, she heard me complain that I had been waiting for help and she radioed help for me. Which I didn't get. So I decided to look for Victor which I had seen helping different customers no matter of department. (His department is lumber). When I found him, he was still helping the same lady prior to me, and I asked him for his name because I needed to let the manager know that he was the only employee helping customers. At that point the customer said that she agreed with me and that's why he was helping her because no one else was. I passed over 10 employees standing around talking to other employees and not helping customers. At this point I was done so I went to customer service to get a dish washer that apparently had been pulled out for me. There I was helped by Trinity. She helped me in spite of miscommunication. She heard me complained to my husband over the phone on my horrendous experience at the store and she went above and beyond to make my experience a better one. Dear manager at Narcoossee store I believe Victor and Trinity are outstanding employees. Any other ones except the cashiers that are constantly helping the customers, are stealing your money. And if they don't like to help the customers they should find another job because that is a representation of your store and of you as their manager. read more

I would NEVER go back here to get appliances ever again! I've been waiting for a month to get a working dryer installed and they keep telling me it'll be taken care of but it's not! Their appliance lady was so rude and wasn't able to get things taken care of so I had to go in 4 days in a row to watch things and make sure they were done- after a while, she stood up and walked away from me without saying anything. When the manager came to help, she promptly turned her back on me and wouldn't talk to me for the remainder of the time I was dealing with this issue. 2 assistant managers and the entire appliance department were "taking care of it" and yet, I still don't have a working dryer and no one can get it taken care of in the timeline needed. I needed to rent a tool - they don't offer the one we needed but when we walked into the rental area both gentleman didn't even look up from the computer to acknowledge us. I just sent my two friends helping remodel my bathroom back up there about an hour ago because they sold me a toilet that had been previously returned for not having all the parts to it!! What the fuck Home Depot. No apologies, no ownership just replaced it and went about their conversations. read more
