I love going and seeing all the new up and coming businesses that I can support on Long Island, and I always enjoy that these markets are held at a nursery. There are always so many great vendors but I'd like to highlight some great food options, I'll also be @ their instagrams, definitely look them up! To start I got some chocolate boba milk tea from @wickedsisterstea, it was a perfect pick me up, just sweet enough and super flavorful. They also sell an assortment of loose teas that I highly recommend! Next my boyfriend and I sampled some empanadas at @amped_panadas, we shared the Florentine which is the vegetarian option and was super juicy and cooked perfectly and we shared the "the amped" a sloppy Joe empanada very clearly cooked with love. Two special shoutouts to @thelidipcompany and @creationsofbacon we sampled the Greek and baked clam dip which was basically a gyro and baked clam that can be served with crackers and pita. Unfortunately she was sold out otherwise my boyfriend and I would've bought it all! We also sampled the bacon Oreo and bacon jam sandwich at creations of bacon. Perfect mix of sweet savory and spicy! Lastly we stopped at @prettybakedonlongisland. We bought some jalapeño cheddar pretzels and she was having BOGO 50% off cookies so of course I grabbed a couple of those! Overall, todays farmers market experience was a great first time back! I'm so excited for the spring season and what's to come. And each one of them were as lovely as the next. I stopped in on my way to my nieces' recital, which was being held at the Patchogue theater. The shop seemed pretty busy. Well, it was recital day after all. A lot of people needed last-minute flowers such as myself to gift to their favorite performers, but they still were able to accommodate me. I got two pink roses that were single wrapped with a beautiful butterfly decoration. Both roses were about $30 which I thought was really well priced, especially with the little added butterfly which the girls loved. I will definitely keep stopping by when in the area I need a bit of green/color either in my life or to gift to someone. They also had a really lovely plant selection as well.
