This home depot is not our favorite. They never seem to have what we need, so we usually go to the one on Davis Highway. However, we just installed a new back door to our home & we needed a new doorknob & lock. Hubby & I wanted a double lock black one like we had before & we couldn't find one at the other Home Depot or Lowe's so we came here. And they had exactly the one we wanted. Miracles do happen, even at Home Depot. Very happy to have two Home Depot locations here that has the inventory we need, when we need it. Safety First. Thanks Home Depot. Chop it up to it just being a bad morning for somebody, but this is the second time I've been here and I've absolutely hated it. I stood in the lumber section for 15 minutes, waiting for somebody to help me as associates walked past me. Until I finally stopped one of them and she said oh I'll call somebody. I proceeded to wait another 10 minutes for said somebody to come to no avail. After I finally found somebody and showed them the board I wanted and if I could get it cut, he told me those boards are over on the first aisle. You can go get it and bring it to me then I will cut it. So I went back to the aisle, but I was on at the beginning and did not find that specific board that was clearly on the inventory rack with all the other lumber. So I finally just found a pre-cut board that I ended up paying four times price that the other boards cost just to avoid being felt like I was stupid or just because I was a woman- I didn't know what I was talking about. Just do yourself a favor and skip the Home Depot altogether. read more

As a 25 year veteran i get a discount at their store. In the past it was on everything. Now its on certain items. That's total BS! At Lowe's it's 10% on all items so i go their and suggest all veterans do the same. read more

the worst store I have ever dealt with and I'm 70 years old. I placed an order for a roof cleaner on line for a delivery, as I can't get out right now. they delivered the item the next day. problem is it's, the wrong item. I called them and they argued with me about this item for 30 minutes. theres 2 items that are from the same company. one is a watery spray you have to protect your plants as this spray can kill them because it is a liquid being sprayed IT WILL RUN OFF THE ROOF ONTO ANYTHING THATS THERE. the item I ordered comes out of the hose sprayer as a foam and where you spray it, it stays right there, with no issues of me having to protect everything. they are picking the item up today and will issue a refund to the 3rd party pay site I use. it could take 10 days to get the refund. they said I could come up to the store and return the item and then purchase the one I really wanted or go online and again purchase the item I wanted. then they would refund any other charges that was placed on the order. when I said; why don't you have the driver Bring out what I ordered when they pick up the wrong item but they said NO, they can't do that. so, they sent out the wrong item and now want me to jump through hoops to get it right for them. i will NEVER shop at Home Depot again. funny thing is I am fixing to start a $10,000 wall and floor remodel and I will inform the crew if they buy 1 single thing from Home Depot they will be fired and that will be in the contract I sign. read more

I went with my husband today to look at appliances . He had told em the store was wearing masks and gloves all . Well not today no one but a couple had masks on employees I mean. People and employees right up against each other . Customers as well 90% no masks or gloves . Now I know they started opening food places here and beaches . I am still self quarantined except this day he drove me nuts asking me to go buy new appliances for kitchen. I purchased some power tools online to pickup at this store on the 13th of September. It said it'll be ready for pickup between the 15th and 20th. It's the 20th today. I need to finish a project with these tools And I've been checking the tracker the last few days. I called the store this morning and an associate tells me that the truck either arrived or would arrive later but they won't be able to unload the items until tomorrow which would be the 21st. I asked an associate at another store about it and he said that they're probably being lazy. That's exactly what I was assuming and he pretty much confirmed it. I shop at Home Depot quite a bit and it was my first choice to purchase tools but I am now open to their competitors. I cannot meet my deadline because of lazy employees. read more

I've used this Home Depot for over two years now and have nothing but positives praise! Mr Calvin is the absolute Greatest of All Time when it comes to customer relations; Mr Richard is good Navy man who works cashier indoor/outdoor harboring a constant smile always happy to strike up a conversation; Kevin in tool rental is super helpful/knowledgeable and does a great job of not belittling a customer while explaining a process/operation of an unfamiliar tool; and Ms sheri is the mixologist behind the paint counter you can find her ever busy, very fun to talk to and her aprons are always the best. Ultimately ever Home Depot has what you need more or less but this group and others on the team really stand out go above and beyond and make this store awesome. Not sure who's in charge of hiring but they're doing a damn good job! read more

Used Home Depot for Carpet and installation. Carpet was excellent quality and the installation was done very well. They sub out to local contractors. The two installers worked very very hard all day long. Now almost nine months later, the carpet is still perfectly in place. However, it did take 5 weeks for them to order the carpet and get an installation date, so keep that in mind schedule wise when ordering. read more

The staff are friendly. Not a lot of employees at the moment. The customer service returns desk are as quick as they can be, and friendly. The store is clean for most part. Bathrooms could use better cleaning. One employee stands out to me. A gentleman that is always kind and willing to help. I had far too many bricks for me to load in my car alone. This gentleman stopped collecting the carts and came over to offer his help. I frequent HomeDepot at least 2-3 times a week. Mostly gardening items. He is always around helping. He is Deaf and communicates wonderfully. Always a smile. I applaud HomeDepot for employing members of the Deaf community. read more

I buy for the Federal Goverment, every time I work with Home Depot my orders, charges etc.... Are messed up. I ordered 3 items totaling $1085.58 the last time. They immediately cancelled the item that cost $23.88 in store pick up. Why? The web said they had it in the store. Then a few days later they over charged me for two other products, about 200.00 each. !!!! What. Now it is a long phone call wasting my time when it is not my fault. I will stay with Lowes. if you are a government buyer stay away from Home Depot. read more

I was remodelling a house very near this location. I would not normally review a Home Depot because I feel like they are all the same, but this one changed my mind. I went here at least twice a day for about ten days, so I can honestly say I had the full Home Depot experience. This location is well stocked, and the workers are extremely knowledgeable. I had plumbing questions; they were answered. I had tool questions; they were answered. Anything I threw at them they were able to help me with. I used the tool rental multiple times. While a little expensive, they had what I needed and once again answered any questions about the tools I had. By the way, if you are looking to rent a finishing nailer, get the butane powered one. It's awesome. Pow Pow Pow! The nails just keep on coming! It made work fun. In all my trips to this location, whenever I asked a worker where anything was, they walked me to that spot. They did not point it out, or walk me halfway there; they took me to the item. By contrast I happened to stop into the Davis location while I was in town. I asked where something was. The worker told me, "Isle X." They did not offer to show me or anything. That is the difference in customer service. While every other Home Depot I have been to has been a three star, this place is a five star! read more

Worst customer service and worst delivery service. First told three weeks to get refrigerator. They didn't bring it and then proceed to move the time out a week later. Should of went elsewhere. The delivery driver called and said it would be out next Day he lied. The supervisor said at the delivery service she would pay extra but haven't heard from them. Don't you think if you didn't deliver something the day before your priority would be the stuff you didn't. Went to this Home Depot today to find myself a patio umbrella base. Asked the first employee if he knew if they had it somewhere in the store. He was honest and said he wasn't sure about it. But instead of finding it out and ask one of his colleagues he shaked my hand and left. I looked for myself untill i found a lady who seemed to be a manager of the place and asked her. She was not happy to help at all ! She just pointed out where the corner was where she had all the patio stuff and that was it. There is nothing wrong with the store, but the employees ( probably not all of them) but the onces i got were not helpfull at all and didn't know much. I was happy to see the big sign on the front door saying all customers "Must" wear face covering while shopping. Sadly was NOT the case when I went inside. I counted over 12 customers not wearing a mask. I asked one associate about my concern and his reply "Strongly encouraged" was his reply. I suggested that the sign needed to be modified to conform with the policy. I then asked another associate and she said "yes I know". I am not on the mask no mask debate. I am in enforcing posted rules. Either enforce the rules or change/remove the sign. read more

I have gone there with the most obscure problems due to my crazy house that was previously owned by crazy DIYers. The staff at this Home Depot has always been able to come up with reasonable solutions to all of my problems without ever making me feel dumb. Went to buy an upright freezer. Asked for help--clerk was "teaching" another employee, and told us "Freezers in the back". Went up to the clerk with the information price etc, and she then said "show me". Told clerk that delivery was urgent since our Freezer had failed. She said, "no problem delivery on the 21st, in 2 days". Took our information, and then told us delivery would be on the 25--earliest possible. We went to Lowes, they had a same brand, 2 cubic feet larger, for only $20 more. Delivary was arranged on the 21st. Poor customer service at Home Depot! Better buy and service at Lowes! read more

We have been regular customers at this Home Depot and all those wherever we have lived across the country, from AZ to Maryland to Virginia, California and now P'cola. We've bought everything from light bulbs to major appliances and services for several of our homes over the years. Today, I went to the store in search of lumber and hardware to build a farmhouse table for the thanksgiving dinner my wife is hosting for a large group of military friends and those not close enough to family to celebrate. Unfortunately, after spending well over half an hour selecting boards, beams, and hardware, the associate at the register let me know that home depot has restricted its military discount policy. Lumber is considered construction material and is therefore ineligible for discount, even the small amount I needed for a table. Although the savings offered by the 10 percent discount would not have been much, we do have to manage on only one constant income every time we move to a new duty station. I decided to let the cashier know we would not be continuing the purchase, they would have to put the product back. With lowes being down the road, I took my business there, where they offered the discount I was expecting, and will continue to do so. Do understand I have been an AVID HOME DEPOT ONLY, shopper since my father was alive and shopped there. I am well over 20 years plus loyal and true... I didn't even save but $20.33 off of what would have been close to $200 purchase. The principal of the matter is the point. Pick and choose your discounts Home depot, and while you do I will shop at Lowes until you set yourself straight. Damn that lowes.... read more

Purchased a shower faucet in cash and lost my receipt. When I went to use it (months later) found out one of the connections was bent. I took it in to exchange it and they offered a credit that was nowhere near what I paid for it because they quit carrying the item. I spoke to the manager who told me that I was lucky to get that, because he didn't think I deserved anything. When I explained to him that he wasn't the only hardware store in town, he shrugged his shoulders at me. Don't spend your money here! They don't care about the customers and apparently don't need your business. read more
