Since Home Depot uses Tuff Shed for their custom shed vendor and we went through Home Depot's website: also, their partnership don't honor military discount for custom sheds (side note)... Here it goes: Their sheds are supposed to come with vents--it's stated on the website, and when you begin designing your shed, the vents appear on the visual model throughout the entire configuration process. We paid over $6,100 for our shed, and it was built today with NO VENTS. The crew that installed it even said, "That's weird, it should have them," and told us to contact Tuff Shed about it. My husband called and spoke with Zack, who claimed we would have to pay over $300 for them to come install vents because "we didn't pay for them." I'm furious because vents are standard. They automatically show up on the model, and since we added a window, I clearly remember choosing a smaller window size to make sure it didn't interfere with the vent placement on the side of the shed. The vents were always displayed, and there was never an option to remove or upgrade them like other features. I called and asked for a manager because this situation and what was relayed to my husband is insane--especially in Arizona, where temperatures exceed 120° in summer. Apparently, Zack is the manager. He repeatedly put me on mute while I was talking and clearly had no interest in customer satisfaction or doing the right thing. This company deceives customers by showing features online, then delivering something different. Even Zack agreed that sheds are supposed to come with vents. So why would I comb through the invoice looking for them? Standard features don't appear on invoices--only specification upgrades did. His excuse was that we were "credited" for removing the vents. No, we weren't. There is no credit line for vents anywhere on our invoice. If there had been, I would have questioned it immediately and not pay or sign anything. The invoice does show a "Credit for Removal of Default Door" (because we upgraded it), but nothing at all about vents. This is dishonest, and the company is taking advantage of customers. Who spends this kind of money and pays for upgrades just to knowingly remove a standard free feature like vents--especially when the design platform doesn't even offer an option to remove them? This feels like a complete scam: removing free standard features and then demanding customers pay a ridiculous amount to add them back. I've filed a complaint with the BBB and disputing the transaction on my card. We are Arizona natives--we know the dangers of a shed with no ventilation. This is our second shed, and our first one absolutely came with vents in our old house. Lack of ventilation is a serious health and safety risk. My grandparents live in the casita and will be using this shed. I also have a three-year-old who could wander inside and not be able to get out, and we might not hear him or anyone inside yell for help. The consequences of not having vents are serious, and that's exactly why they're standard. I'm furious with how this company handled the situation and with the lies we were told over the phone. They refuse to fix a problem they caused. We never elected to remove vents--this was their mistake. At this point, we want the shed removed from our property and a full refund. This is shady business, and we will take our money elsewhere and buy a custom shed from a honest company. Zack repeatedly stated that all sheds come with vents and that ours "were removed," and that we "should have noticed," and that we were "credited" for it--again, we absolutely were not credited and we never removed them!!! My husband and I come here with our dog, Gunther, and have always felt welcomed. The customer service is wonderful! Everyone is friendly and ready to help when you have questions. You can wander aimlessly and yet, there will be someone that will come to your rescue. We have bought so many things from this store but we were super delighted this time to see the promo buy 2 get 2 free filters. There were plenty to choose from and we saved over $160 from this deal alone. We will not need to get filters for the next several months. Visited the store yesterday to inquire about purchasing electrical wire that was not in stock unfortunately. Tried to speak to the manager regarding special order and possible price match. The cashier tried to get the manager to come up front, but the manager was only willing to talk over the phone with the cashier with regards to the issue. This poor excuse of a managers name was Fanecia. Whatever Home Depot is paying her, it's too much. I walked out of the store and went to Lowe's, spent my money there. Customer service is virtually nonexistent at this Home Depot. No one was in line at the paint department, but we were completely ignored while we stood at the counter (we had a question about some silicone) and we had to search for someone when we were looking for a specific bolt. Prices are better than Ace (which has phenomenal customer service). Lowe's has a similar inventory and better customer service. We've gone to this Home Depot forever and often, but it's really going downhill. read more

Giving this review for Rich (with knee pads) in workbench or Power tools area on 2/16. Actually I'm not 100% what department he's assigned to, because there was a different guy who came by originally in the power tools/ work bench area and he was basically worthless. But after my husband and I sat at the workbenchs scouring for husky's online, Rich (I think) came up and immediately engaged to see how he could help. The one online we wanted said limited availability but we couldn't find it on the floor. First of all, he was funny and had that old school humor I miss in the world. Secondly he offered to check the store once we couldn't find it in the normal places. My hubby and I went and looked at blinds and figured he couldn't find it. But 25 mins or so later, and moments before we were leaving the store, he found us. I didn't know why he was out of breath, but then realized it was because he must have been hustling to push this gigantic 62in husky unopened box & pallet from somewhere in the back. We were so super impressed with "Rich" today... I asked the ladies up front if that was in fact his name... they didn't know. :( So crossing my fingers I saw it right. read more

Bought a stackable washer and dryer. Delivery was today, and unfortunately, there was a dent on top, so the 3rd party Delivery team said, " we can't install it." I called HD and was told they don't control deliveries, and it will be a week. Im not thrilled. Then Im told "you can wait till next week or find another w/d and get a refund." I was so taken aback, I went to Spencers and did just that. And it was cheaper and delivered the next day. Horrible customer service. Worst experience ever buying appliances. Order all new appliances after Black friday. Was told I can just call to reschedule delivery date which I did 3 times. Then was told , the store associate never called the vendor and told them not to ship to delivery warehouse so the warehouse will only hold for 30 days. Then told me to go into the store and they can cancel order and re-enter and then adjust pricing to match when we bought them. I went to the store, met with Customer service, explained the situation. she said, No Problem, I can reschedule to April. Then without an notification from Home Depot, they cancelled 3 appliances. When I called Kadedra was very helpful, said she would research, talk to the manager and call me back. She called me back and said, the cooktop never shipped to warehouse, the oven is on backorder with no delivery date. I asked if they would match the original price and she said the manager said no as I bought it on sale WHAT???? Called to talk to store manager and was helped by John who said he was the manager on duty. He said he will get back to me. Go to Lowes to buy appliances- never again with Home Depot. read more

We really love Home Depot, we have had great experiences with the store and even services they offer. So this is not a dig on Home Depot but I want to say coming back to the store is going to be tough for me. I wrestled with commenting about what happened to us but I want people to know if they see these people and are confronted and attacked by them to call security. We were there last Saturday shopping for plants and just standing in the flowers like anyone would do. This older woman came barreling toward us and very gruffly said. "You need to move". Not please can you move or excuse me. She goes in to say "move, we have 16 trees". My husband politely said, "I will just be a moment". Because we were picking out a few flowers. She became enraged and my husband did let her know we will be done in a moment using an expletive. Her husband walked up to us just inches from our faces and said. "Thanks for the patience stretch". I looked at him and said, "what is wrong with you"? He was very forceful and it was scary because he made sure he was just inches from us. So we moved and checked out. Only to see these people still shopping and suddenly not in a hurry. I snapped a photo of them, if you see these people I don't know what to tell you. I would steer clear of them. But you should be able to shop and enjoy your experience at Home Depot. It was scary because you just don't know what people will do. I am unclear what Home Depot's policy is about guests like this. But if these people do this to you in the Queen Creek Az location. You need to call security. I'm still upset about it. read more

Been trying to finish my project for a couple months now and after 3 runs to Home Depot I'm finally done. I've never refinished furniture before but I decided to paint my nightstands and dresser and needed to change out the hardware. I wanted a vintage brass which I found online. With Covid-19 in play, it made it difficult to actually go into a store and just pick out my hardware. I ordered online and thought I got the right size. Well, I didn't and just ordered the next size up. Brought in my order to return and it was easy! Safe practice in place and 6ft apart for at checkout. The last time I ordered I decided to pickup at the store and did a drive up. I arrived at the store and followed directions on email. The worker came out promptly and was very nice. Terribly ran location. Employees are not on the same page with anything and will argue with each other in front of you. My daughter was super excited about a decoration that we could not order or purchase anything in store. We were told to wait until October 1 to be able to purchase the floor display and to come at 6am. We called the night before and they said it was still here and would not sell it early. We came this morning to find they apparently damaged it out because a light didn't work and are unable to sell it. Wish they would have told us that last night before getting my daughter up to go. Home Depot's level of service has been dropping substantially. I ordered material for curbside pickup and when I arrived to pick it up, the link they sent me tried to make me download yet another app. Which would also require yet another account and password. No. Instead I called the store and after wading through an automated system that didn't recognize "curbside pickup" and made me repeat myself 3 times before sending me to the the front desk, they sent me to the correct department. When the employees arrived they didn't even make eye contact. One just complained at the other one that they couldn't just load everything with the forklift - the other said I didn't pay for the pallet so they had to manually load it all. I didn't care about the pallet but hearing them complain was both amusing and irritating. It took over 45 minutes to pick my items up. If I had not ordered ahead and just shopped myself I would have had it in 15. Ridiculous. As a final issue, the curbside pickup is limited in hours to 6 pm. Most of us can't get to the store that early after we work. It's ridiculous to cut off that early when the stores open to 10 pm. I'm going to Lowe's next time. read more

If I could give a negative star rating I would give my experience tonight a -5 . oh, this was by far the creepiest experience I've ever had at any Home Depot. Home Depot is always my go to spot whenever I need anything home-improvement related. I shop here often and spend a lot of money. However, that may change after this experience. Me and my wife are looking for materials for a new project , a beer can wall for our home bar. As we stood in the lumber section, looking for what we needed, we saw two derelict workers leaning up against a forklift, staring at their phones, and every once in a while, would look up at us but never asked if we needed help or even bother to greet us. The next example of shitty customer service came when we talk to an old timer who I was sure I was going to greet us with a smile and ask us what we need to help with however, this was not the case he did greet us with a smile, and said "hello how are you folks doing " and then continued walking by us. After spending about an hour in the store, the final straw was a frumpy, unkept sorry excuse for a human being. this humanoid has obviously never been taught about personal hygiene. As this waste of skin walked by us we asked them where a certain product was, and as they were picking their nose, they said to us "oh, I think that's on aisle 10 or 11 " and then continue walking. This is the point where I started losing my shit and blood starting shooting out of my eyes. Had my wife not been there I would've unleashed a verbal hellfire missile storm of expletives at them. The only shining light on this experience was a friendly young man who helped us at the self check out. I didn't get his name because my eyes were still shooting blood and I could not see his name badge. I wish I had so I could tell Home Depot that they needed more employees like this, and to get rid of the deadweight, they now consider employees. I'm going to give Lowe's a try and hopefully Customer Service is not dead there. I really don't see myself going back to this Home Depot anytime in the near future I would rather stab myself in the femur with a fork then deal with this kind customer service ! it really doesn't take much to put on a smile and help your customers out. That's what you're there for,that's what you get paid to do, if it wasn't for your customers, you would not have a job! Employees are a reflection of the business!!! read more

New set up of the store is awful. There is no stock and no help. I refuse to check myself out. I am not shopping at Walmart for the same reason. If you don't have the help then let people know before they walk in. I went to Lowes after I left the Home Depot store. Most incompetent paint department ever. They mixed our paint color wrong the first time. My husband had no idea what paint color I picked and painted away. 2 rooms later I got home and noticed it was so very wrong. Mistakes were made and that's ok. Until I brought it back. The man told me it was mixed correctly, dried the original color on a stick, still tried to convince me it was correct. I've used this paint color in clients homes a ton so I have a pretty good idea of what it is suppose to look like. I asked if we could make it in a sample size with a new formula. Because I'm a contractor and have ordered paint for years and know there are several formulas. He didn't say a word and turned around and remixed it in a 5 gallon. He took a sample out and blow dried it, didn't show it to me, and told me it was the exact same sorry there was nothing else he could do. I had to put the two paint samples on a stick myself to dry them to compare them. as they were drying, I noticed the sticker that states the formula was completely different between the two, meaning the two paints couldn't be the same. No surprise, both paint samples were different, showing the first one was made incorrectly. Like I stated in the beginning. I'm a painting contractor, so my knowledge is more than the regular DIY customer. It's sad to know that the DIY customer that goes in there the most, this is how they're treated. Freddy didn't give me more than 30 seconds of "customer service" and I was the only one at the counter. Immediately taking more effort to tell me I was wrong than trying to figure out a solution. There was little to no effort to remedy the situation. Their paint department used to have so many helpful and knowledgeable associates behind the paint desk in the mornings for contractors. If it's not in their A or B level, you will have to order it. Reason why I like Ace Warehouse. My experience was fine. I don't come here often. I prefer Lowe's over Home Depot. When I do come to this location in particular I always find really nice items on any clearance item. Over the weekend they had an awesome Labor Day Sale. I picked up three hanging plants for only $15 bucks! They're priced from $7 - $10 a piece. I'll have to be sure to check out the clearance section in the nursery more often. read more
