I ran in here for household needs. This area used to be so vibrant. Sad it has declined. Inventory is still stocked. Store is still clean. It just doesn't have that inviting feel anymore. I Only come in here if I need something quick . Staff is like sour patch kids. You never know which attitude you will get that day. Please do, this store is the filthiest, most unprofessional, unpleasant fowl smelling place in the area, there was an odor inside and out easy to this place. If you are still anywhere DISABLED go to another location, I was told they have no one to help the disabled, they have not one to bring an ADA cart outside because it's not safe for employees to come outside. The selection of items in the store are either outdated or not in supply. Walmart is better at value than this store. DO NOT SHOP HERE today 04062023 i went in the store at 4:45pm to get a kitchen faucet. i asked did i need something i said yes and she said she would call someone to help me out. there was 5 bodies joking around and talking at the desk next to the fork truck and no one came to help. i walked out the store at 5:00pm without and service and no merchandise. there was a man on his break and i told him about it he said i will be off break in 5 minutes i told him i will waste gas and go to menards. this is the worst place to shop. read more

hallsferry and 270 Asian lady rudely came from the back after me waiting for 15 min. I asked her for a small deep freezer chest she replied"we no have no mo" "we have big freezer". "look see". I ended up getting the big freezer that I really didn't want paid more the paid 100.00 for the delivery personnel to come when they got ready to drop it off just over the first threshold of my front door. Now that is funny as hell. sit it in your living room and you can take a big @$$ freezer into your basement read more

I ordered an item online for curbside pickup, upon arriving I followed the curbside directions and no one ever came out. After 20 min of waiting and not getting an answer from the store, I went inside. I walked up to the customer service window that had no line at all and gave the lady my order info. She calls to the back for them to bring it up. I waited another 20 min only to ask again for them to check on order...which was discovered to be up front all along. It took the young lady another 5-10 min to go find a flatbed to have them carry it out. I tried to do this one lunch break, my mistake. I'm a pretty patient person, however...ths whole ordeal was a bit sloppy. It's a shame I really want to like this location. read more

I thought the key copy area was self-serve, rather than the employee saying something like "excuse me ma'am, this area isn't self-serve; let me get the attendant for you.", she yelled out "Karis" and walked away. Just then a smiling face approached and said she'd help me. That's when I realized my gaffe and apologized. Karis was pleasant and professional. Homedepot.com said there were 11 items that I wanted to buy and it even told me on which aisle I could find it. I found what I was looking for quickly but the shelf space was empty. Looking above at the overflow merchandise, I saw it up there way up high! I asked a passing employee for help and they called for someone else. That person came fairly quickly, got a nearby ladder, and got my stuff! Success! Helpful employees, yeah! read more

For starters, the male workers are sexist. The man kept questioning my expertise when I didn't even ask for help! He told me I probably don't know what I'm doing repeatedly. When I walked down the aisle, an employee who was helping another customer was hitting the "Quan" while helping her which confused me. Then when I finally went to check out, the cashier was on her phone and told me to hold on while she was texting. Two of their doors are "Out of Order" to leave this mess. Well, the good news is that THIS Home Depot is about sixty seconds south of Randall's Wine & Spirits, north branch. But, if you're just looking for Con-tact paper to line the kitchen drawers, you'll find that, too. The staff member who pointed me in the right direction was friendly, and the cashier was exceptionally patient with a grandmother (in line in front of me) who wanted to write a check. I ordered custom made French doors on June 30. After several delays, the doors were finally completed on August 13. I scheduled time for them to be installed on August 19. Then I learn today that the order was placed wrong, the exterior side is unfinished, and they cannot be installed because it is raining. This is after making several visits to the store, having several discussions about the exterior finish (Sandstone), paying for the door in advance ($3,577), and receiving printout of the order clearly stating the exterior finish should be sandstone. I have been very patient, calling the store to check on status (where I learned the order was delayed, not receiving any communication during the process), and being understanding because this was a custom order. However, now I am infuriated. Update: the door was made correctly. The installer was mistaken about the exterior not being finished. The install is rescheduled to Friday. However, I have heard from the installer twice, and have still not received a call from Home Depot. read more

I had the worst experience at the Ferguson(Hallsferry) location.I went in the establishment to purchse a four dollar item. Upon leaving I was stop by a worker demanding to see my receipt.I have never had anything like this happen to me in all the years I've shopped here. My children and I were embarrassed in view of numerous customers. I feel I was discriminated against due to my appearance.I have several tattoos and piercings. I saw no one else being ordered to show a receipt.I personally will never shop at Home Depot again!!! I will also be warning anyone with Tattoo body art about what I had to endure. Home Depot has too many competitors to choose from and we as consumers have other alternatives. I will be utilizing my alternatives!! read more
