What is this place, Brigadoon? How, in my adult life with the world's information at my fingertips and a Yelp app that knows all businesses, just how did I not know this place exists? I have been out searching for the right peach tree and searched for Home Depots in the area and was baffled by this address. In my mind, Highland Drive stops at 9400 S. That's where it stopped when I was a kid, and apparently my brain still thinks this is the case. But no, there on Highland, the road south of 9400 starts to bend and on the west side of the road, there it was, tucked back in there. Like a magical, mythical place in story. I had been to two other HDs that day, and this one by far was the most calm, least busy (this was a Saturday) and most organized. I don't think it's the first place others think of, either, so that explains the brief bit of sanity in a COVID world where we now wait in line to enter. It was tidy and civilized. read more

This DYII Kit activity is always a nightmare. This manager told me yes you have to sign up and I told her we did we were there an hour and 19 minutes past the time at the store we signed up at and they were out and the manager there felt bad and told me to call another store someone in the area I did, and she said she was going to put one aside because it was almost towards the end anyway so we drive all the way to the store and she said oh sorry they're gone first come first serve and I specifically asked on the phone if we drive to you you can put one or two aside. We understand they're first come first serve but when you call have a manager tell you they will put it aside. It's ridiculous they don't what a waste of time. read more

Do not purchase any major appliance here. And Do not have these guys install anything. They brought over a non functional dishwasher then just told me to call the manufacturer for a rep to come out and look at it. That was a month ago. This review is for a carpet installation I had done. I needed a carpet for a converted basement room, and chose a simple commercial grade through the Home Depot website. I placed the order online, and then spoke to someone about an installation date. It took three weeks for them to send someone, but the woman who did the installation was prompt, professional, and knew exactly what she was doing. After about two hours the space was newly carpeted and look fantastic. Very highly recommend read more

I've been living in Utah for 40 years and since it's it's conversion from home base to Home Depot, I've been shopping at many Home Depot's throughout the Wasatch. I must say the best staff are usually found at this store. There could be part time and temporary/seasonal unprofessional employees who come and go, but the main employees are not only friendly, professional, courteous and helpful, they are on top of their game and go-to resources for DIY's like Ron, Allen, Bobbie etc. I challenge any unhappy customer to take any issue to Ken and if he cannot resolve it, I will take this review down! read more

Every time I move into a new area, I luckily find myself less than a few miles from the nearest Home Depot. My new place is no exception. I have found all of the staff here to be extremely friendly and very helpful. We have come here for a myriad of reasons.....Christmas decorations (highly discounted after the holiday), paint and supplies, and most recently....an umbrella stand! I have been all over, searching online and in-person, to find an umbrella stand. I thought I was somewhat screwed until someone at another store mentioned Home Depot. I went online and found that the stand I wanted was in stock. We picked it up easily this past weekend for a pretty affordable price....and now we are reaping the benefits. Very poor customer service. Purchased a washer and dryer from this store. Multiple problems with delivery. Twice they delivered a broken (cracked, dented) dryer. Every time I had to call to reschedule a new delivery I was on hold for at least an hour. I was informed that there is a design flaw with the washer I bought and countless customer complaints about the dryer. Called Syd in Appliances. She was rude, it was like talking to a brick wall. Didn't care about the problem and refused to talk about or help with a resolution. Extremely rude. Informed me that they "just sell" the appliances but don't stand behind what they sell "once it leaves the store it's your problem, not ours". Unbelievable. When I shared this with the repairman, he was not surprised and said he hears all the time about her poorly Home Depot treats their customers. After the purchase and all the nightmares and headaches, I was warned by several service repair persons to NOT by appliances at Home Depot because with appliances, they don't care about the customer. They said the best place to buy appliances is Lowe's. Wish I had known. read more

Actually Home Depot is one of my favorite home stores. Recently purchased a vanity, faucets, etc to do our bath remodel. Almost done, just need 4.5" tall by 12ft piece of baseboard, and Home Depot has it. But only for contractors! All bundled up on a main aisle is where I found it. What a tease. What's the problem with selling a 12 ft piece to a home owner? I'm not a contractor, and don't expect to get contractor discounts, I'll pay full price for one piece but not for huge bundle. read more

Ordered expensive patio door and several windows. Assured all would come before 4 weeks. The windows came in 3 weeks. Door still no idea when delivery will be and at least 8 weeks. One associate said I could expect 12 weeks or more. I keep getting calls from corporate (Atlanta) that I have updates on my order and to log in to my account. Nothing there. The mill work team is lost in space when I go ask for an update. They even bad-mouth each other when I talk to different members. read more

Some Home Depots are better than others and the difference is in the help the service professionals there are will to offer. At this Home Depot, the service people are pretty dang good, in my opinion. They have always been willing to go the extra mile to help with any questions I have, no matter how strange they are. Had two horrible experiences with Home Depot. Both came from me thinking " I'm buying a high ticket item, I'll go with a nation wide dealer who will back my purchase"....WRONG! I bought an entire HVAC system from HD a year ago and immediately had issues. Nothing from them except the run around, and absolutely no support. Just bought a refrigerator.... SAME EXACT EXPERIENCE!!! You will get Zero help from management or customer support. Buying local from now on. BTW ripped up my HD credit card today..... felt awesome. read more

We live halfway to both Lowe's and Home Depot. This particular Home Depot is our favorite because the service here is simply outstanding. Just to name a few, the store manager and Karen in appliances are so kind and helpful! They take care of their customers... Most Saturday's they have fun and free events for their customers. We LOVE this store and choose it more often than we do the other! read more

Pretty good Home Depot. Got some paint mixed. It was very fast not a big deal at all.

Poor service and unqualified help. "I don't know" was the most common answer I could get out of any of the employees. Waited 20 minutes to get paint, had no one come help and then walked into a conversation of some employee literally saying "That's not my job" when I attempted to find someone to help. Would NOT recommend Home Depot. read more

Customer service so bad I paid off our card and cut it up. I bought a can of paint and had the woman at the paint counter shake it up. Then it turned out that it was some weird type (deep base) that required tint or it came out basically clear. No offer to exchange the paint - just a condescending remark that this was deep base like that's supposed to mean something to the average customer. The woman behind the counter could have asked me if I realized that this type of paint required tint but she didn't. The customer service guy could have looked at the literally tens of thousands of dollars we've spent there and just made it right but he didn't. Went to Lowes and found that their paints were clearly marked as to which need tint. That's where I'll be going from now on even though it's not quite as convenient. read more

So I am a bit of a houseplant addict. I keep seeing plants here that I want, so I buy them and take them home. They look fine at first, but then after a week or so they start dying and it is always the same thing. I get up close and check out the plant and they have spider mites. Every single one that I have brought home from this place has been the same issue. Its really hard to tell at first, but after they've had some time to make their webs, they are clearly noticeable and very destructive. Home Depot seriously needs to get someone in their houseplant department that knows how to clear this up. For now, I am going to have to resist the temptation to ever buy a plant from a Home Depot. read more

I ordered a Bosch dishwasher along with the recommended parts and paid for install and haul away a total of almost $800. When they came to install the dishwasher they did not bring the correct power cord. I asked if they could go get the cord seeing as how home depot is less than a 10 min drive from my home. They refused and gave me the number of their customer "care" department. The only time I had available in the next 3 weeks for installation was today, tomorrow (sun) or thurs after 5pm due to work. They refused to work within my time frame even though it was their screw up. If you are looking for appliances I strongly urge you to go to a reputable company such as RC Wiley who is known for righting their wrongs. Home Depot could care less about you! read more

Saturday the 19th at 7 pm I was told they could not mix paint that it was broken. I returned on Sunday the 20th and they looked at me like I was crazy for asking if you could mix paint. So I don't know if I was lied to on Saturday. Greg at customer service I asked for help ringing out he told me to move heavy items to a different place and put on a counter that they did not fit. For the whole transaction did not say another word questioned if got 50% off tag priced, asked manager. Did not say a word to me, I asked if ready for payment. He told me I had to wait for the manager to give approval for the discount. Then did not remove the security tags until I asked. Just very unfriendly facial expressions annoyed. Usually a friendly store helpful to find items. Lady paid cash for items she wanted to return and was told could not get store credit... is that usual? Just left items and said she did not want either way. read more

Home Depot service can vary greatly from location to location. The Sandy location is one of the best. When asking for help I regularly get walked to the location of the parts or tools I need. The cashiers are helpful and fast. read more

They really need to work on their customer satisfaction and delivery. Was supposed to get cabinets a couple weeks before Thanksgiving. They came about a two weeks before and were destroyed. We sent them back, they have gotten worse lately. Much rather go to Lowe's than Home Depot. read more
