I'm so sick and tired of coming to this store and not being able to shop because things are locked up and you can't find a single soul to come unlock the gates for you . I was in the Electrical aisle trying to literally buy about $300 worth of tools that were locked up behind the cage. I scanned the QR code to request help, 15 minutes later nobody came so then I walked over to the paint aisle and had the guy at the paint department call for help and again nobody came. I'm headed to Lowes now to see if I have better luck over there. I can't wait for AI robots to take all of your jobs. What an absolute waste of labor cost for your company. You guys need to step it up! My husband and I went on Sunday and the sales associate, an older man, was really no help. We felt like an inconvenience. We went to get a dryer and he didn't even check, just flat told me they didn't have it and it wouldn't be available until after Christmas. We ended up walking out and going to Lowe's. The sales associate at Lowe's was very friendly, showed us where the dryers were and when I asked if they had them in stock, he scanned the bar code and told us they had 2, he went to the back and came back with the dryer on a dolly. Totally the opposite service. I remember how back in the day we used to go in to The Home Depot and everyone was so friendly and helpful. So disappointing since you are closer to us than Lowe's. Tonight, I got home to find my downstairs bathroom flooded (we're thinking it may be related to the rain. Well, my local Home Depot shows they have 5 dehumidifiers in stock and when I go in, they tell me they know it says it online, but they don't have them. I called this location, as the next closest HD, wait to speak to a person and then get transferred to plumbing. They show they have 1 in stock, try to check the shelves, but cannot locate it. After several attempts to find a dehumidifier elsewhere, we give up for the night and start setting up fans (not very helpful - especially when you can't open the windows in the rain), and eventually I see I have a missed call and voicemail. Ken, from plumbing dept, called me back after locating the last dehumidifier in the store that was placed in a different spot than normal. Sounds silly to be so excited and grateful for a dehumidifier, but that VM was the relieving thing to hear. I called back and caught Ken right before he left for lunch and he was so kind to go pull the unit for me and have it taken to customer service before his break! I truly appreciate his customer service! He went above and beyond, not knowing the situation and just being a helpful person. I never would have expected a call back for a stock check, but tonight Ken was more helpful than he will ever know! I hope he gets recognized properly for his help. I've had an amazing experience at this store for the last few years, but recently I think they have a new manager (Danny) because he is not very flexible when it comes to returns like others have been in the past. I bought a refrigerator a few months back and it's beyond the 90 days that I need to return it because it's leaking. He can't guarantee that they will give me credit or money or exchange it for the exact same item, but he wants me to bring it in anyways. I am not hauling in a mini refrigerator just to be denied. He's making a lot of excuses. This has been my favorite store because of the excellent customer service and willingness to make sure the customer is happy. This morning I went to look for closet doors and two outdoors one for side of garage and other that goes out to my patio. I was so frustrated and was getting irritated and by this time I had a huge headache because the doors I found on the website were not in the store and either they didn't have the size I need. I've ordered via the mobile app and picked up my purchases here as well as shop in store for items and I've always found it to be easy. This location is off the 55 freeway and the surrounding area looks ghetto but it's not bad at all, mostly hard working people in the parking lots and not so much transients. Employees are always super helpful and bilingual for the most part. I've purchased window film, foam in a can, foam boards, stud finder and a drill. We bought a Bosch induction oven with a contract that included delivery and installation and removal of our old stove. The instructions that Home Depot gave said the stove had to be hardwired so we had an electrician set up the wiring for that. When the installers arrived they said they couldn't install the stove because they weren't licensed to connect hardwired connections. They gave me a phone number to call to fix this. The person who answered spent 20 minutes trying to contact the installers but wasn't able to get throuugh. She said she'd "escalate" the matter to her supervisor, who would call back. He never did. We called the salesman, who said he'd investigate and call back. He never did. I called HomeDepot again, the person who answered said that yes, the connection is supposed to be hardwired, but it would be OK to install a plug-cable and use a plug-in connection so the HomeDepot installers could install it that way. Our electrician came and checked out the new oven and discovered that HomeDepot had even included a wire with a plug that could be attached to the oven to enable it to be connected a plug despite their instructions that said it must be hardwired. So he rearranged the connection in the in the wall to accept a plug and he attached the wire with a plug to the stove. We have to pay for this of course. We contacted HomeDepot again to find out when the installers would come back to finish the job. They will call us back in 24 hours and arrange a date for the following day, at a time of their convenience of course. Lessons learned: 1. HomeDepot's "installation" only includes delivery, not installation. 2. HomeDepot's installation instructions are wrong. 3. HomeDepot's service its hard to contact, the employees are not empowered to actually help, and nobody will call back. The only thing they will do quickly and reliably is take your money. At this point the new stove, which we have paid for, is sitting in our yard. read more

He was able to hook us up with worm castings, a high pressure hose fitting, a sprayer pump bottle and some neem oil concentrate. After using this cocktail on our Hibiscus bush, the problem seems to be at bay, and after fighting it for YEARS, we can't thank Bruce in the gardening department enough for his expertise.
