Customer service was excellent! From the moment I walked in the door I could tell it was a BUSY Spring Saturday! I was greeted by Jason in Lumber who asked if he could help, I was grateful since recently having a foot operation. He loaded everything I needed without hesitation! I had to also go to the garden center where I was also greeted by Regina and a few other Garden employees and even though it was a busy day, they offered to to help several times and were so kind! I ordered a washer and dryer from Home Depot. FSA was supposed to deliver them on Saturday; my day off. The drivers arrived outside of the delivery window. There was no confirmation the night prior like promised, nor was there a call placed to let me know they were headed to me or even at my house. I was there! They left a door tag stating I had been missed and needed to call the number to reschedule. First of all what the hell!!?? I call the number immediately and I was rescheduled for Monday. This time no call, no show. Call Home Depot again and once again get them rescheduled for Thursday. Thursday morning I received a call from two men from FSA stating they were on their way to hook up my washer and dryer. Initially I thought oh great they're delivering my appliances. Then the men confirmed the washer and dryer were at my house already. Uuuummm excuse me sir!? NO! you're supposed to be delivering them. They hung up and called me back and stated my washer and dryer were still in their warehouse and I would need to call to reschedule delivery AGAIN. Are you freaking kidding me! That brings us to today.....still no appliances....Home Depot still took my money a month ago. At this point I have no choice but to report both Home Depot and FSA as fraudulent companies and file a chargeback on my cc. Unbelievable! If I could post this review with zero stars I would! Also Home Depot has been no help in getting these appliances. They simply state there's nothing they can do but to reschedule and hope and pray they actually get delivered. Ordered a dishwasher they wanted to charge $249 to install. Thought we could do it because it usually just plugs in. Not this one - it had to be hard wired. Took it back to store. They informed me there is no refund on appliances. Worked with them and they agreed to take it back be charged me a 15% restocking fee. Came back to get concrete and could not get anyone to help load it. read more

All i wanted was a table for my new porch that my sweet husband bought me as a Mother's Day gift. I thought, simple easy task for a Saturday morning. WRONG. First and last time here. One checkout with a long line of contractors waiting to be checked out ( one of whom looked like they were buying enough supplies to build a house!) All others were self checkout only. I DON'T WORK FOR HOME DEPOT! There is no such thing as good customer service anymore. It is so sad. I'll be ordering what I can on line from now on. The first time I ordered an appliance from Home Depot, the delivery people were very rude because there was a problem with the appliance they delivered. Two years later I gave them another chance and ordered a washing machine. Patiently waiting all day for the delivery, we received a text saying we did not answer our phone and we have to reschedule. Neither me or my husband, had any phone calls whatsoever. My husband did see a truck pull up at our gate, and it left, 10 minutes later, he got a text - NO VM, NO PHONE CALL - a text - saying to reschedule as they could not contact us!. This was at 6:10 pm. After explaining to a manager at the appliance hotline what happened, they would only offer a delivery one week later and a compensation of 5 to 10% - Told them I just wanted to get my washer, and be first in line, as the Delivery people messed up royally! We also specified 2 phone numbers, so we knew they did not try to contact us! The 4th phone call trying to fix this poor service, was to call the Home Depot in Seguin. I asked for a manager. The voice on other end said, I am a manager. Hmmmm?? Explaining what happened, this person said, "oh, do you want to just cancel? Wow! I said all I want is my washer, delivered as promised, and not have to wait another 7 days! I even offered to come pick it up!! That was not allowed! If had been the manager, and my customer just spent over $800, I would have made the delivery people go back to work, and make them deliver the appliance! Friday at 6, I am sure they just made up an excuse so they could go home! Apparently, Home Depot lets their delivery people run the show! They need to nip this in the bud, or else, they will lose the business of others to Best Buy! Best Buy delivery people are excellent, FYI! I was, by then, very upset and drove to the Home Depot in my town to talk to a manager. She was very nice, and told me that the delivery people had wrong number. Now, after wasting 6 hours of my time, gas money, anxiety of dealing with people that insinuated you were lying or fabricating a story to get compensated, the manager bumped up my delivery to 4 days later, instead of 7 days later! I accepted that, but went away a very upset customer! Maybe they should compensate me for 6 + hours of my time! I only charge $50 an hour! I repeat, you always believe your customers, not the employees that want to go home early and fabricate a story that the customer did not answer the phone! Come on, they had 2 phone numbers & I know that for a fact! The ladies in Appliances that sold me the washer were excellent. Now, if they would fix their delivery people, it would be a fantastic company! I will update when finally delivered, if that really happens. read more

Purchase roughly $15,000 August 2019 was given false information upon delivery of my washer and dryer that I needed to make extreme measures and changes to my home for it to work. Paid $500 for the repairs as Home Depot's personnel requested second crew came and said repairs were all not only not needed but unsafe. Took pictures showed receipts was told I'll be reimbursed within 30 days this was 11 months ago been here once a month. And been told every time 30 days we will get back to you. Patience is not even close to what I've shown. By the way smoke spoke with two managers multiple times today sat here for at least half an hour to 45 minutes manager walked by attending other customer. Won't be back read more

I'm giving this place 3 stars because the few people that helped us with a special order gone wrong have been amazing. Unfortunately, the loading people are not so great, down right horrid really. Take forever (could see them standing down the aisle talking and flirting) and when they do show up, they have the worst attitudes, like we are bothering them. Won't even look at you and I was speaking to the girl and she wouldn't speak back. Get another job if all you wanna do is socialize and not work, but my time is precious and I don't want to stand here for another 45 mins waiting on you to finish your conversation!!! read more

This store could be a lot better if it weren't for the customer service and in general lack of knowledge on simple things like fasteners on behalf of the employees. Zero help with concrete for customers with disabilities. Saw elderly lady in the customer service line returning a few bags of concrete because no one came out to help her load them into her vehicle. I asked for a lift driver to help with heavy loads of lumber to which they responded we have no forklift drivers at this location. Attitude among some of the employees when I ask about items in the painting section. Just over all this location is extremely disappointing and I would rather drive the extra thirty minutes to the New Braunfels location for the better service. This store needs to step it up. Worst customer experience of my life and in our current world, that's saying something! I had this same Maytag dryer for 6 years before it broke. I liked it and since nothing lasts these days, I decided to order a new one of the same dryer. They dropped my dryer when delivering it, causing a big dent to the side and part of the control panel to fall off. I did not allow the delivery people to bring it in and told them I had to refuse the delivery due to the damage. I asked who I could contact at Home Depot to get a new delivery scheduled. They said they were a third party contractor and could not help me just and handed me a card that instructed me to call or text Home Depot "customer service." I tried to call and got sent in circles through various menus without ever reaching a real person. I then tried to call my local stir that the sale went through. I first got a very rude associate who told me it wasn't her job to deal with appliances so I asked to speak with a manager. I explained everything I had been through to this point. The manager basically said she didn't care, had no control over the situation due to it being an appliance which has to run through corporate and that she wouldn't do anything to help me. So I was forced to text customer service for help and wait several minutes between responses while the customer disservice person probably was working several cases At once. What should have been a 5 minute conversation was spread out over 3 hours. In the end I was told all they could do was fill out a form which they sent to Maytag and that Maytag would contact me within 24 hours to set up the delivery. 24 hours later when I hadn't heard from Maytag I was forced to again text Home Depot's customer disservice number to request a refund. I suppose I should be grateful that the second conversation only took 30 minutes! They claim I will get a refund in 3-5 business days but I'm not holding my breath. If not, I'll just dispute the charge with my credit card company for goods not delivered. Buyer beware! This is a perfectly fine dryer but you don't ever want to find yourself having to deal with Home Depot's "customer service." read more

Absolutely love the place everybody in there is so nice. What does particular day I went in and I was walking in and when I was walking I was walking. And I noticed there was a car pulling in to a parking spot I thought they parked OK I'll look around look at all my surroundings because sometimes I'm that kind of person if I'm in a crowded place I like to look at my surroundings and see where what's going on and she pulls up right like could you not 3 feet to where I was walking OK she pulls up really fast I get startled I tell her to wait because it's not worth getting into a hurry it's hurting somebody walking this could've been anybody should've did this to anybody OK I felt really uncomfortable and I felt really unsafe at that point because I genuinely thought that she would hit me OK I was scared and she stopped she acknowledge that I was there and I just want to say how hard was it to look left until look right it took what two seconds to seconds to look left and right she couldn't do that wow this is what this world comes to put aside from that she was a worker and I could care less if she was a worker if she was a customer because that is on that was not good for anybody she could've what is that was like a family walking by and she did that shit and she almost hit a little girl or something that really makes it unsafe and I hope y'all do something about that because this is not acceptable OK this is not acceptable anyways I like the I like everybody there except for that one worker but I like her too it's just she made a mistake and she just can learn from it!! read more

Worst experience I have ever had at a Home Depot. Everything in the store was incorrectly priced. When I told the girl at the check out counter that what I was buying was listed as cheaper elsewhere in the store she basically said "that's not my job" when I asked her for help or to send someone my way that could help. Not your job?! That is QUITE LITERALLY YOUR ONLY JOB. She also mentioned it was night shifts job to price... it was 9pm... sounds like night shift to me sweet-cheeks. The other gentleman seemed to be spread thin trying to do what he could so he didn't have time to help me (obviously not his fault). The only thing they did right was apply my military discount. It would be nice if we could get someone to just answer the phone at this location. We need a deck built and was told by a lady there that they could design a deck, but not that day because the people that are able to help were not working that day. I have called and called and called.. no answer. I not only called customer service but also the pro desk over and over.. nothing. My husband and I went in and what do you know, no one is there to help us. Not only am I going to avoid this location, I will shop at other lumber and hardware stores in the area instead. I am also going to cancel my Home Depot credit card. Because I will not be a return customer in the future. read more
