This store is literally within walking distance of my house, so my wife and I have spent quite a bit of time and money here over the years. Unfortunately, I would rather drive the extra 10-15 minutes to go to Lowe's after today. I went around 1pm to get a few odds and ends; among them two lengths of chain. The chain is on spools and you must get customer assistance in order to get the chain cut. I spoke with FIVE customer service representatives (yes, I counted), over a 30 minute time period and never received help. Does Home Depot not sale items that require customer assistance during certain business hours?? If so, please post so that I don't waste additional time in the future. I forgot to mention that while I maintained my composure during this experience, most of the reps I spoke with were not very polite and NONE of them was helpful. read more

If you need to talk to a Home Depot customer service rep call the Bitters location they do a real good job answering and screening incoming calls. This Home Depot location does a terrible job managing their incoming calls for the customer service department when you press 0. I've been waiting almost 20 min to get through and on two separate occasions I could tell someone answered then put me back on hold. Don't try calling for assistance. Update from previous review. I shop at Home Depot daily as a pro member. I waited and looked for help for 13 minutes before the poor lady that was working, what seemed to be the entire back half of the store, broke away to help me for a second. She wasn't able to help so she had me go to the flooring desk(conveniently located outside of flooring area) and called for help. Another 10 minutes went by before I finally said the heck with it. How can this location in such a nice area be so horrible? Have they lost their manager? Regional manager? Not happy and really put out. Our new GE dishwasher was installed on 12/3/2020. It broke 48 days later, on 1/20/2021. We call GE the next day 1/21/2021. Their representative came twice to our house since then not ready: he didn't have parts to fix our dishwasher. They cannot fix it for 32 days. Today 2/22/2021 our dishwasher is still not working at all. We are a family of 5 and we still don't know if/when our dishwasher will be fixed. It's obvious that this dishwasher is very defective. We also contacted Home Depot store #6551 and they told us that they cannot help us with a defective product that they sell us 48 hours after installation. We do not feel protected customers in this situation. read more

I will say that this Home Depot hasn't been mine or my husband's favorite. We actually switched from going here to going to Lowe's a couple of years ago. But today really made our day. Corinne at customer service was BEYOND helpful and extremely nice. We've never had a better experience at this business. And she even offered to give my son a kids workshop craft, which I knew nothing about. That made his day! My husband and I can't speak highly enough of her and the other lady at customer service. I don't visit this local hardware store very often. It is a little out of my way. Yet sometimes I need to come here and get some supplies while i'm visiting the Forum. I stop by yesterday because I needed something to help me cut some wood for an art project. They happen to carry what I needed. I did check online first and shopped around before I made the decision to visit this location. Anyways, I walked in to the store and saw some amazing sales on items you might or might not needs but they had some great deals inside the center displays. I got to say it suckered me into buying an umbrella while its 90 Deg F and sunny outside. I walk the store it was simple to maneuver though. I couldn't find what I was looking for but I asked someone and he was very nice about helping us (my husband and I). He even walked us to where the location of the item we needed. Thank you for that service!! We walked around a little bit and this place is pretty big we didn't have enough time to walk around very much. When we went up to the register area the Cashier Lauren (I only know her name because of my receipt) she created us with a nice warm greeting and a smile. I have to say it was pretty humid in the building but she was service with a smile. We purchased a Samsung refrigerator, along with the 5 year warranty on May 31, 2017. We have had problems with the ice maker and have had it repaired on 2/4/2019, 8/7/2020, and 4/13/2021. We were told that if it needed to be repaired again, they would replace the refrigerator. Well, it broke again. However, we had out of town guests and figured it was just out of ice. Our warranty expired on May 31, 2022. So by the time I was able to contact Home Depot, they said since the warranty expired they could not honor it. You would think with the prior repair history, they would. To make things worst, we can't even remove the container that holds the ice. read more

We have had nothing but bad experiences with this specific Home Depot location. Three that come to mind: 1. Wife and I were in there to buy several gallons of paint to redo our entire interior of our home. We were using the computer in the Behr section trying out various combinations. We're obviously deeply involved with this when suddenly a small 20 year old kid interrupts us by immediately saying "Would you like to know what Home Depot can do for home owner's today?" If you're not aware, these guys are trying to sell installation services mainly. I told him he had interrupted us while we were trying to pick paint, to which he turned, started walking away, and then with his back to us shot a parting "have a nice day" with more than a bit of attitude. 2. Wife and I were again there trying to buy garden border pieces. We knew exactly what we wanted, were on the aisle, and actually picking the pieces up. Two Home Depot employees walk up, interrupt us by saying "We need you to leave this aisle for a bit while we close it." I politely told him I was going to finish getting what I wanted and then I would leave. He left us be without an apology or other remark whatsoever. 3. Just yesterday, 5/13/2012, my wife and I walk into Home Depot's Garden Center around 7:20pm, 40 minutes before closing. We pass right by an employee named "Shane" who was at the entrance sweeping and playing with a cat. He saw us, we were two feet from him. 2 other ladies had walked right by him and were also shopping in there. We turned to go back outside the garden center to pick up a few roses that were externally located and Shane was locking us in. Even seeing us coming toward him, he continued to lock the gate, then left. I reported this to his manager, Dan, who was very friendly. Dan is the one bright spot at this Home Depot. I hope what I heard from him about trying to fix their customer service is truly important to him. If so, they may turn things around. If not, this place will slowly lose more and more business until they close. The Lowe's at O'Connor and I-35 has nothing short of amazing service. read more

I have mixed opinions about Home Depot. What they have the other big box store usually doesn't and vice versa. This particular location at the Forum can be cumbersome to navigate when traffic starts to back up. So if you don't mind dealing with frustrated drivers have at it. They are still doing construction on 1604 and I 35. If I know what I'm going for I usually use the Home Depot app to find out if the product is available instead of wasting my time driving over there. It's also very difficult to find an employee when you need them but that's usually every Home Depot. Oh and the paint guys usually don't want to deal with anybody. So when it comes to finding something I need, I'm usually the best person. Gone are the days of customer service but hey, keep selling your product. Thanks Home Depot. read more

Hmm, the workers here don't seem to be confident about their knowledge of the store. We asked two workers if they could help us out with plumbing, one stated he has no idea what they (plumbing department) do and that its somewhere in the middle of the store. After coming across another worker, I showed him a picture of the item I wanted, (that was in stock, acccording to the website online), the worker looked at me, made a sarcastic chuckle, and we headed to the section. Wow! Lo and behold the item was there! The worker said, "My faith has been restored with computers!" as he felt that whenever customers tell him the item appears to be in stock online, but a different story when you get to the store. Ok, that's true. I've had experiences when it will say its online, yet out of stock in the store, its the chance you take by just driving there unless you call first to really make sure. But its not helpful if you have a bad attitude about it with your customers. read more

Bought a Tuff Shed from their facility. The initial sales person, a Home Depot employee, misquoted and when went to write it up discovered the discrepancy. I should have left right then. I waited for the Tuff Shed rep. She has been very knowledgeable and followed through with what she could do, but she is limited. Her name: Athena Lopez. The building is not level at all. He denied it at first until I got my level out then came up with a host of excuses why it wasn't his fault. I told the contractor to simply leave and called Athena right away. Her boss, a real winner (sarcasm), can't get to my building and level it until next week. I told them by Monday to either have it finished or remove it from my property because I will protest the charges on my card. I'll revise after Monday. read more

If I could give no star on this thing I would. I have been expecting my delivery for over a month now. When the delivery date came the incompetent delivery drivers couldn't find my address and instead of trying to find it by taking instructions they canceled my delivery of 3 items just like that. Meanwhile I waited all day and now going to wait some more. Just to add I gave then the correct address and even street names. Visited the store today. I had two separate transactions. Told the cashier that I had my military ID. She checked it and said "ok." The cashier became a little frazzled with checking me out, the growing line and assuring a guest in another line with self checkout. She missed my discount on my first order. However, the cashier did not miss offering me the store credit card. I left feeling a bit frustrated and bothered with the entire transaction. The floor had more staff than checkout. The curbside service at this location is great. I have found out that this Home Depot tends to be a little better with service than the others I have been to.
