    The service we needed was a kickboard for underneath the kitchen cabinets. They had a great variety and select selection at a definite value for the price while I was there of course I had to pick up some other fun stuff the Reese their trees. Their holiday specials is such a big store and well organized and always a great variety with a huge parking lot easily located on Main Street yes yes yes give them a try

    I normally don't come to this location however? I didn't have a choice. I walked in and walked by Customer Service, I immediately asked where would I go to make a key ... Chris (Department Supervisor) was more than happy to help me and we walked to the aisle where the key machine was. He made me 6 keys and talk about service with a smile!! He was beyond amazing! He literally went out of his way to help me. He even walked me to the self checkout and helped me check out! That was the BEST SERVICE I ever had at ANY Home Depot!! If only there were more Chris', I would shop at Home Depot more often!! TY Chris!! What an asset you are!!

    Liars who sell you a "lifetime warranty" part then refuse to take responsibility when it fails. Like I am going to be able to travel to the factory to exchange a deadbolt when my home is unsecured due to the failure of the deadbolt you sold me?

    When it came time to buy a new slide-in range because our 20-year-old appliance had died, Home Depot in Tukwila was great! Kathy in the appliances department was helpful, honest with her opinions about which were better brands/models than others, and very personable. We had pretty much decided on an LG range that Consumer Reports ranked the best among dual fuel slide-ins, and Kathy concurred that it was an excellent applicance. The purchase was completed quickly (on a Saturday) and the range was installed the following Wednesday. The installation crew was also excellent. They arrived on time, were respectful of our house (making sure not to ding the walls, doors or our new range), made sure it was installed correctly and that everything -- all five burners, the broiler, the oven and the convection function -- worked before heading off to their next install. We will soon be replacing our dishwasher and our starting point will (again) be Home Depot at Tukwila and Kathy. Great experience!

    Hey! Stop running away from a customer! Do I need to stage a slip and fall accident to get help here? I spent nearly two hours trying to get staff to help out and answer questions about a pretty vital purchase. Nope. Every mobile staff member I approached turned and walked away. I understand I have resting grumpy person face. I get that. It's early in the morning too, but that will never excuse Robin, the staff at the pro desk. Telling someone they've had an attitude since they came in, and then refuse to answer any questions posed is inexcusable. I had to walk the length of the store to grab a cart, and you're mumbled "morning" was barely audible. I asked you to "say again please?" You repeated "morning", to which my response was, "that's what I hear." You laughed. Yup.. I've an attitude. Perhaps when I asked you for help you could have offered it? Ashley at the other check stand sure did. You kept yelling and calling her until she had to shut her phone off to actually help me. She was nice. You are 100% the reason Ashley needs a raise. Dealing with you must be exhausting. I know I won't tolerate you.

    Do not buy plants here. Plants have foliage blight/ blight. Will cause your other plants to die. Awful.

    I know it's hard to find Good employees right now but the manager of the store needs to fire their entire, "customer service" department and start over. I spend a fortune at Home Depot, between carpets and several sets of appliances and hundreds of things between -- today I'm on a time crunch so I ordered for curbside pick up with five hours notice. The website says it will be ready in two hours. I show up five hours later and the order is still showing "pending". It's literally seven totes and a few items of packing material -total of only three skus. I get to the store it's not cold, it's not even started. They told me they'll get it so I wait at the front counter. And continue to wait. I count seven different employees laughing and joking and milling around. In the store closes. I get asked what I'm doing and I explain I'm waiting for this order which by now I could've already grabbed myself five or six times -The customer service rep told me to wait for it, plus I've got a foot injury so I waited. Finally the guy he was getting the order said they're out of stock on the items despite the website saying they have 76 of them in stock. So now he told me to go ahead and go check for myself, so I proceed to shop for the order myself. Get back to the customer service counter and since they had the different size totes available they were less expensive they have to cancel my order and I need to limp all the way to the literal other end of the store to buy everything again [I said I didn't care about the refund] -I explained I've got a foot injury and after racing through the store I'm really in no shape to track over to the other end and they all just looked at me with a blank look on their face so off I went. Now since the doors are locked got a walk all the way through the parking lot in the rain to get back to the vehicle which I had conveniently parked at the customer service side of the store in the CURBSIDE PUCKUP spot because the order was going to be pulled and waiting. So now I'm sitting in the car sopping wet with a throbbing foot deciding that from this point forward I'm shopping at Lowe's. I bet I've spent close to $100,000 over the past two years at Home Depot and I know it's a multi billion dollar company but if they're pissing off long-term customers like me it's going to hurt when we all start leaving.

This was tasty, but I think a cream cheese dip requires a chip that's sturdier than a potato chip. I ordered the seared ahi and my spouse ordered the burger. We both enjoyed the seared ahi, though I wish it had more of the whipped tahini and harissa. We agreed that the burger was solid, but not the best restaurant burger we've had. We finished with the key lime pie and pot de crème. Recommend both (though maybe avoid the pot de crème if you don't like coffee)!

The fish was a bit greasy and somewhat dry, and personally I think cod or halibut would have made for a better fish. I've had better fish and chips elsewhere on the island, so this probably isn't something I would order again. The highlight of the meal was the local rockfish. Two nicely seared pieces of fish were served over a flavorful tomato and vegetable medley with a couple of fried artichokes. The fish was cooked perfectly, and the broth at the bottom of the plate was delicious. I only wish there had been some crusty bread to soak it all up. This is definitely a dish I would order again. The kids' meals were also solid. The chicken strips tasted fresh and looked great, and the cheeseburger appeared to be a generous quarter-pound burger. I especially appreciated that the kids' meal can be served with a fruit cup that contains actual quality fruit instead of the typical melon-heavy mix. My only hesitation with the kids' menu is the price. At around $17 for chicken strips or a cheeseburger, it feels a bit expensive. Families may find better value by having kids split one of the larger entrées. We also tried the grilled spring asparagus, which was delicious and paired well with the sauce, but at $19 for six spears, the portion felt a little underwhelming for the price. Service was friendly and attentive throughout our visit, and the overall quality of the food was good. I've also been here for weekend brunch, which is consistently excellent and one of the reasons I keep coming back. Whenever I'm on Vashon Island, The Hardware Store remains a place I'll happily stop at for a meal. Overall, a very good dining experience with a few dishes I'd order again and a few I'd skip next time.
