This Home Depot does not care about their customers. I was there on numerous occasions. I can't get anyone to help me. When I finally did get someone to help me, he suggested that since I just needed a small piece of wood, I should check out the scrap pile. Their scrap pile is painted different colors. Those colors tell the cashier how much to charge. When I went to pay, the cashier confiscated my wood. She said it's not for sale. I didn't want to make a scene so I let Karen keep it. read more

Ok ok, I had to keep up with the Joneses. So, I went to HD browsed in the Christmas section. Emillano came over just in time to assist my search for the perfect large lawn display. The large lit up buck was there but the doe was not. Emiliano immediately looked it up but only found the display so he offered me a discount on the doe female deer. Before I purchased it he said we should walk out to make sure it would fit in my car. Then after he got a ladder to retrieved the display. And I made my purchases. He offered to help me take the purchases to my car. Emillano went above and beyond and I totally appreciated his help. He was a joy and courteous during my search in keeping up with the Joneses (my neighbors) so my lawn will look just as good as theirs. read more

Went In around 5pm on a Friday and directly to customer service as I had a return and wanted to get my 30 day price match on a dishwasher that I just purchased. The employee that helped me was so nice and friendly. It was such a pleasure being helped by her (didn't get her name). She quickly processed both of my requests. When she couldn't get my receipt to print she assured me that she would check it out to be sure the credit was processed and she allowed me to take a picture of the computer screen as evidence of my transaction. When I went to the checkout to make my purchase, another super nice employee was there. She was friendly and helped customers in a kind manner. It was a great visit today. read more

Update: Home Depot has made SIX visits to this house for the one washing machine. Missing screws. No pedestal. Mistake after mistake. My mom has now been on the phone for over an hour. It is 100% Pass the Buck. Everyone is blaming everyone else. Home Depot Yuba City just hung up on her. They don't WANT to fix the problem. They respond with something generic here, but they have NOT fixed the problem. ------------------------------------------------ My mom has been a regular customer for years. Our washing machine went out, so we ordered a new one with pedestal from the Home Depot. It came damaged. The rubber seal was messed up. The guys took pictures, left the machine with pedestal, and they told us to order a replacement. They were professional. Today, the replacement came without a pedestal. These were different delivery guys, and they were jerks. They said they couldn't use that pedestal. He accused my 84 year-old mom of not "letting him" finish the job. Finish? You didn't bring the stuff to START the job. Meanwhile, my mom was on the phone with Home Depot, and the rep heard what this jerk was saying to my mom. He made a snide comment about her attitude before they left. We are still without a washing machine. Those two delivery drivers should be FIRED. read more

I just left very disappointed with the moving truck rental service. We are very grateful for the assistance we received from customer service agent Lexi who was informative and empathetic to our current situation. We made the reservation for a Sunday pick up and then realized we needed to pick it up one day earlier. We have the receipts to show that our reservation was supposed to be picked up today, Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 8 PM Pacific Standard Time. When we arrived to pick up our rental, we were informed that it would not be able to be rented out due to a few maintenance issues. While we appreciate that the rental service is looking out for our safety, I am disappointed to have learned that rentals are not usually given out in the evening and nobody contacted us to let us know that the rental would not be ready to pick up. Why weren't these issues addressed beforehand knowing that someone was coming to pick it up? We chose this route because it has a good value for what we are able to afford but I am disappointed that we were not contacted ahead of time or given clarity about picking up the truck rental. This is our first time working with the Home Depot truck rental service and I hope that sufficient changes will be made for better customer service. Because we are not able to rent the moving truck from Home Depot, we have had to make arrangements that have switched up all of our plans for our day. We appreciate that Lexi helped us look up options for rentals in other cities but that shouldn't be the case when this is an available service in our city. Picking up from another city would have added more unnecessary time for a rental and more cost to us. Hoping that this can be fixed. read more

HORROBLE DRLIVERY SERVICE Purchased a $213.00 toilet and a $1,200.00 vanity from online. The Yuba City store said both items would be delivered in 2 days. I also received an email saying it would be delivered in 2 days. Day of delivery I got a text saying it would be delivered between 8am-8pm. The truck shows up - OUR ITEMS ARE NOT ON TRUCK. We have to call customer service. Then talk to store. Store states the vanity will be delivered the next day. However, we have to go to store and pick up toilet ourselves. I had to cancel the first toilet, then repurchase a new toilet. But guess what, the vanity we ordered is sitting in the Customer Service area. They state, it will be delivered the next day. Next day is here, it's 5pm. STILL NO VANITY. Customer service says, I have to call store. So AGAIN, I'm doing Customer Services job. Guess what, NO ANSWER AT STORE. Call Customer Service back, they can't help. Customer Service says, We'll we HOPE it's delivered tomorrow. No one is answering. W H A T?????? I HATE YUBA CITY HOME DEPOT!!!!!! We are doing a full home remodeling and will go to Lowes from here on out. This is a HORRIBLE way to treat their customers, especially when spending big money. read more

We went in for a couple of items. We needed help with patio door locks. The young man that came up to us acted like he could help us. But immediately starts asking us about when the last time we had our heating and air serviced. We told him no we are here to take care of the patio door lock. All he keeps telling us is you have to drill new holes no help then just goes on about the services. We once again told him after we deal with the patio door look we will talk to you. This guy then try's to hand the paper of services to my husband. We told him to leave us alone and if we need help we will call someone else. He had no intention of helping us he just wanted a sale for service. If you say you can help someone and can't find someone who can. I am easy going but he was pushy and would not let us deal with our lock for the patio door. I am surprised Home Depot is allowing them to do this to customers when you say no that should be no. I am very unhappy with the treatment this young man gave us. I know he was doing his job but you can't force stuff on customers. I have never been treated like this at Home Depot. read more

The selection at this particular Home Depot is wonderful. I enjoy shopping there! The reason for my 3 stars is due to an experience I encountered when attempting to return an expensive lawn mower I purchased. I misplaced my receipt and the rude manager refused to even acknowledge my presence due to my not having my receipt. The nice customer service rep looked it up and confirmed that I did in fact purchase this faulty lawn mower from this store. The manager flat out refused to assist me resulting in me being stuck with a mower that doesn't work the way it should! I feel that customer service can definitely be improved! It's also very complicated finding a sales associate who can help in a particular department. I asked the gardening dept. associate a question about some plants I was purchasing. She knew nothing about plants! Train the associates to know their department! I will shop there again only because my choices are limited! read more

I Used Home Depot online ordering for "convenience", let's say it hasn't been straight forward or pleasant whatsoever and all my items aren't ready for pick up so who knows when this entire situation will be resolved. A) a partial order as a contractor does me NO good, I need all the Materials to do the job. Period ! B) I received an email (as I was headed out of town) stating today was the last day to pick up my order, I turned around not being in town the rest of the week. I drove 3 hrs (1.5 hrs ea way) to find out you don't have my order ready and today IS NOT the last day to pickup; the store policy is to receive ALL items before holding period begins. Makes sense, but the lack of communication and cohesion is a joke. This is probably the worst simple supply order turned south I've ever experienced. Why do you solicit contractors business to no end but continually make the buying process difficult? read more

Had the most breath taking experience coming to The Home Depot, especially coming here on Spring Time to browse on their flower/vege/tree variety... Full of life I tell you. Bought a Lavender, was finally in stock after waiting for over a month. Im impressed how fresh they look with full of life... I had to purchase myself some lavenders for my bees... Considering this type of flower is draught tolerant. But hey, what can I say, I love nature... Wished they had a BOGO offer though for Lavenders, like 2 for $5 or 4 for $10 only like they do for the vegetable deals... Paying full retail is GRrrrrrr... Customer Service is meh, but could be better at the garden department... Not gonna brag so much about it and give a bad rating for it. At least I got in and got out efficiently on what I needed, didn't waited in the checkout line for a long period. But most likely, about 3min or less tops. Im so happy, gonna go off topic. Ordered about $6k in kitchen appliances 30 days ago from Home Depot. After delivery being delayed twice, I was lied to about XPO logistics waiting outside our home and them calling me about the arrival of my delivery. I had taken the day off from work for the delivery and received no phone call and our cameras confirmed no delivery truck arrived and waited. I understand Home Depot isn't responsible for direct manufacture deliveries, but when I called to notify Home Depot and ask about my purchase, no action was taken on their behalf, I received a "it is what it is" type response. They did not look into what happened with my order nor did they seem to care. Never received a follow up call from the store manager 'Carol' after she would "call XPO and look into it". The ball was definitely dropped by Home Depot or XPO and neither were willing to step up and rectify the situation. I ended up returning my purchase and will gladly take my business elsewhere. read more

The Yuba City Home Depot does not have good customer service, not a lot of people to help you out or ask questions. When you place an order, using their home Depot credit card services, I have had nothing but trouble. Something as easy as ordering a shed online turned into a nightmare. I have to order the same shed twice... Been getting a refund for the first shed came a nightmare. Even paying off the credit card is a major hassle. I sent him a check a week and a half ago and they still haven't processed it yet. In fact, I go at least twice a week and I always have a great experience, and the team is so friendly... (today I even found out the gal scanning my items had the same college math class as me!) We ordered a microwave and the first time they opened the box after waiting two weeks it was dented , had to return, so then we rescheduled another one and they said they ordered it and it never was so it never showed . So today we finally got another one and when they opened the box it was dented again . 3 mishaps in a row , it's been a month and we have yet to have our new microwave installed and set . I had a measurement completed for my service door and my front door. Manny called me from the home depot and I went in on 03/19/23 and chose the two doors and received a total bill for 1210.92, my receipt given was 550.98, for one door. Manny didn't give me the correct receipt.  Since the register/system kept declining the card, I tried calling HD customer service to see why, they did not know why the card declined. The card was active and had no balance . I finally went home, and could not return until 3/21/23, due to Mannys and my work hours. Manny asked me to come in and pick my doors. I did that on the 19th, so when Manny pulled up the HD order he said, " it was $1900 because sometimes other people change his orders, and he has to fix them." THIS SOUNDS NOT ONLY SUSPICIOUS BUT RETARDED. Like he is making excuses! Why would I go from paying $1210 to $1900??  He also added something I did not ask for because it's what he called added protection and only $30. Who is he to add anything for a customer they don't need or ask for? I was charged for the measurement and I want this resolved ASAP!! I have to ask, is this happening because I'm a woman or because my skin is brown? Do you treat all customers this way? read more

The workers all have a get out for the sale attitude and no customer service skills. I ordered a lawn mover but was not in stock for a week then delivered from the Lincoln store. Upon delivery the order was refused because the Yuba city order clerk ordered a weed wicker and not the lawnmower. Also made sure account address was correct on ordering. Called the Lincoln store no reply; 3 hours later the Lincoln store manager called to say they got the weed wicker back in stock and issued a credit. Now one month later, Citibank the CB issuer of Home Depot credit said I have an outstanding balance...found out that the Lincoln store manager didn't give the full amount refund for the lawn mower. Took over 1-12 hr on the phone with Citibank to resolve the credit. Asked why they didn't send a statement: said my address was wrong. The first time I ordered a refrigerator on Home Depot account and paid the bill before the statement came. What a mistake... was charged a late fee. So no more buying from Home Depot ever. read more

CUSTOMER SERVICES SUCKS!!!!! I've been to this store 3 times since I've moved to this area within the last year. We just bought a house here and are doing things to all of it. I've done curbside pick up, in store purchases and returns. The curbside pickup and returns - there are two gentleman there and I WISH I would have wrote their names down because they have bene amazing. If I go back, and let's face it I probably will, I am going to try to get there names so I can update this. But when I go into the store the customer services is terrible. Okay, so clearly I am female and most of the time when i am in there you can tell I do not know whet I am trying to find because I'm looking at my notes and I am looking at the signs. Therefore, it should go without saying that maybe I could use some help. I cannot tell you how often the associates walk past me, seeing my need for assistance, as if it's no big deal. Yes, of course I could ask them and I have. But my point is when you are in retail that's part of your job, especially when two of you are clearly sitting there talking to each other and not doing anything. Yes, I have worked in retail and it was part of my job and I was good at it. The other thing is that it must matter what type of clothes you wear because the other day when I was in there I had on some nice clothes, but summer ones. I asked an associate about moving their cart and my tone came out wrong, I tried to back track and ask another question so I didn't sound so rude but clearly that didn't matter because under her breath but enough that I could hear it she said something about "...no Beyonce." I was floored. At that point that day I'd had enough. id' been in the store for more than an hour and a half and a CUSTOMER was the one who actually helped me figure out what I was looking for even though two associates had walked down the same aisle talking to each other (where there was four customers including me) and at no time did they ask any one of us if we needed anything, they just kept talking to each other. UNREAL! people, if you don't want to deal with customers then don't get a freaking customer service job. We don't want you in it either, I promise!!! read more

I left a $5 item in my cart in the store after purchasing $1300 worth of merchandise. Went back in and grabbed it waved at the cashier that rang me up and said "I left this in the cart". As I was walking out the door an employee yells at me "did you pay for that?". Of coarse, everyone stares at me. I explained everything and she still wanted to see a receipt. I drive a truck with an 8 foot bed so I park pretty far away as a courtesy to others so it took a few minutes. Presented my receipt. No apology. Today I went to the Home Depot to buy a piece of 10' drain pipe and there wasn't anyone to help me with a question. My question was if they can cut the 10' pipe for me since I don't have a large size vehicle to transport it. So I walked to the associate who was at the self checkout and ask if she can call someone to help me. She went and made the call, and didn't even come back to me and say that help was on the way. Instead, I had to walk to her and ask her again and see if help was coming. She then replied someone is on the way. Went back to the plumber section. Help did come but was clueless if she can cut the pipe for me. So she went and ask the general manager. And what she told me was that the general manager told her to tell me to use one of the hand saw to cut it. I was like, so your telling me I have to buy a saw first, and then cut it myself. They could have instead just told me. "Sorry, we can't cut it for you because of store policy". That would have been the best thing. read more

Third time I have ordered on line ship to store and pick up in store and they are 2 to 5 days late. The orders arrive at the store on time but come to find out that they sit on them for 2 to 5 days at this store before unloading them from the semi-truck and checking them in. I have never had this issue with the Auburn store...only the Yuba City store. The online customer service gave me a $50 gift card for my trouble for the item that they sat on for 2-3 days this time.Hopefully that will wake them up at that store and fix their busted 'give a damn.' read more

The worst experience I've had yet, possibly at any retail store. The project was a roofing project. I visited the pro desk asking for confirmation/recommendations and advice. I wanted to use the peel and seal roofing to put a new roof on an old mobile home. Really long story short I Purchased 12 boxes of GAF Cap Sheets, 16 pieces of 4x4 flashing, 2 gallons of flashing adhesive and various sundries. The homeowner tried paying directly for the materials over the phone but for some reason Home Depot explained as "the banks problem" they couldn't run any of the three cards they tried. (This couple has no problem with their credit and has way higher spending limits than this order). The Home Depot employee sent them to the home depot near them to pay for it. I got a call from their home depot trying to accomplish the payment but in the end was told "I don't know why they told them to come here to pay for an order there, it just doesn't work like that." Great. So I went to get the cash (we are now three days after my first visit to buy this stuff) I go to pick up the items and they said we owe you a refund. "What for?" "We didn't have the 4x4 flashing so we gave you 3x3." "Shouldn't someone have cleared that with me?" "He said he left you a message." "Well he didn't, there are no messages." ..... (no response) ooook guess I'm using 3x3 I load up 12 boxes at 90lbs each, get three of the boxes on the roof start installing the flashing, they gave me roof patch that didn't cure. The can doesn't list dry times just to allow 30-60 days before applying reflective coating. I left it three days and it was as wet as the first. Hmmm, I better make sure this roofing is going to stick....HAHA joke's on me! This roofing will only stick to properly primed plywood. "Huh?!" "Wtf!" Which "pros" sent me home with roofing that wouldn't install on my metal roof?" (Three different ones I spoke with, that's who) Who puts a product to market like that? I tried 6 different adhesives and sure as sh!t every test peeled right up. @$?!$!!!!!!! Guess I'm loading 1100 lbs of roofing back on my truck, by myself for a refund. I was furious to say the least! In the end my overall opinion of this Home Depot: they hide behind policy as an excuse to avert good customer service, the management has no managerial training or business know how whatsoever, one of them was bordering sexual harassment, and the pro desk is employed by anything but Pro's. Additionally, they don't even sell the complete roofing system that GAF requires, for example, to install that roofing on plywood you HAVE to use the GAF primer or the MA base sheet and they don't sell either. So....yeah....good luck! I will never go back there. read more

I ordered a new sink vanity via Home Depot and they delivered to me in N CA via Estes Level 2 Logistics. The driver did NOT knock and instead left the item behind my car, in my skinny, barely one car wide driveway. Then he drove away! I cannot pick up the item myself, I'm a single mother and my children are still small. My doorway is a mere 3 feet away but is up 3 steps. I also, cannot move the item from behind my car which means I'm trapped here!!! I'm on the line with them now and they claim I didn't order "white glove" service so the driver is supposed to knock and drop. I'm trying to argue he needs to come back because he's trapped me in my home. PS: Home Depot doesn't give "options" for whatever they believe white glove to be...they definitely do NOT offer "common courtesy" service either! read more
