They were quick to respond and schedule an appointment. Our inspector did the job taking pictures and documenting discrepancies. He then sat down with us, went line-by-line explaining each item, and whether he recommended fixing or leaving as-is. He was knowledgeable on each subject as well as on the surrounding area of the home, and was exceptionally friendly. Their pricing is very competitive and affordable for the good service we received. EDIT: I have to reduce the rating as the buyer's inspector did a much more thorough inspection and found many items that weren't originally disclosed by The Home Inspectors. Addressing these issues will now cost us more money during our negotiations with the buyer than if we had spent more upfront to go with a more thorough inspection company. read more

Every business should operate like this one. From the moment I called... i reached Ivo directly and immediately. He was on an inspection, but quickly checked his schedule, and had me call the main office to schedule the appointment. Danielle answered the phone with a pleasant voice and kind attitude. She answered a couple questions I had, and quickly explained what I needed to know. I was scheduled and done in minutes. The pricepoint was very good compared to a couple competitors I called, coming in at $295 (including WDI inspection), compared to $400-500 at the other places. This was in no way indicative of the service I received however. Ivo was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and thorough. I had initially thought $295 was a a lot for what seemed to me to be looking around and taking notes. But for what you get, I am a satisfied customer. I received a binder with all the notes well organized into sections (including deals to get you started in your new home), as well as a thumb drive with videos and guides. The first week we moved in our roof leaked, half the windows won't open, now our water heater is broke and the water Pressure is too high and isn't up to code. They never put any of that in our inspection. Don't waste your money having them do a home Inspection. read more

After they were done we discovered our faucet was frozen in the kitchen and we could only move from side to side with the sprayer. We also found a sprinkler head that was gushing out back and several on the side of the house that were blocked by a rock garden. They said the garbage disposal was broken but our realtor found a spoon inside of it. The kitchen faucet replacement cost $550. My husband was able to repair the sprinklers. We also found many of the hinges on the cabinets were broken. read more

The person that they sent out was terrible. The main item that I asked them before they came was that I wanted someone to check my roof, and the inspector did not get on the roof. It is a one story. I never saw a ladder on her truck. Two exterior items that she wrote up in her report were items that I pointed out. She did not even go over the report with me, which most inspectors do at the end of the inspection. It was like she was hurrying up and trying to get out fast. The inspection price was very cheap, but not worth it. I am a real estate broker and former builder for a large home builder and this was one of the worst inspections I have been on. Would not recommend them at all. read more

We had our home inspection about a month ago. Jennifer was the inspector. After we moved in I am continually finding things she missed that should have been caught... electrical outlets that do not work even though I specifically asked if she checked each outlet; roof tiles missing even though she said the roof was fine (she would not go on the roof and only did a binocular inspection, never heard of that before!), but I can easily see tiles missing; toilets running on forever; cooktop that takes 30 minutes to boil water; water heater only generating water up to 104 degrees; I had to reset it and then discovered the jacuzzi uses a vintage tankless water heater in the same closet that was unplugged and she never mentioned it; horrible drainage around the property that leaves standing water in back yard culverts... she said they were fine and doing the job, ha, tell that to the mosquitos; several doors that stick and won't open without a hard yank, or others that stay open and won't close at all; cracked or damaged tiles in flooring and shower floors not mentioned; scratches on wood flooring. There is more but I'm tired of typing, you get the point. I would look for someone who is more thorough. If you tell me this is beyond the scope then you are a poor inspection company. I just went through one in Dallas that tore my house a new one and caught every little detail. I probably would not have bought this house had the inspection been properly executed, having spent thousands now repairing items she missed. read more

Where to begin, if you want a pointless inspection, these people are right for you. The inspector we had did not physically go on the roof to verify seals to exhaust ducks, they literally just looked at it from the latter. Same result to the attic, the inspector did not physically go into the attic to verify if any issues are in the attic, possible moisture, ducks that are torn, or anything. when I asked if the house is properly grounded, the inspector replies, I can not confirm that. There is much more, but what's the point, it was literally a pointless inspection. The inspection took over 3.5 hrs, which feels like a big waste of time. So, no I do not recommend them. read more
