He inspected our brand new home that was built from the ground up and we are so glad that we used an inspector. He caught things that we would have never caught on our own and saved us a ton of money on the long run. Because, some of things he caught that the builder didn't do right would have ruined our water system and pipes. Colin with Panther Inspections is a by the book professional. We had heck trying to get an inspection lined up with such a short option period. People were either booked up or never called back. Colin answered on the second ring, and came out next day. He does a full inspection that takes most of the day and is very thorough, but he doesn't just stop there. After he generates a full report complete with pictures and explanations of any issues, he will sit down with you and your family and talk you through the report line by line so that you have a full understanding of his findings. Buying a house is always a nerve racking process, calling did an amazing job in inspecting the house, providing the report right after the inspection and sat with us for an hour and half to go over the inspection, he was very patience in answering our questions. His knowledge about the building codes blew our minds away. Funny thing, a friend of mine that was seated in the living room waiting for me and just bought a house few months before, was shocked how knowledgeable Collin was and the way he explained everything to us. The entire process was very easy. I was able to process the contract and invoice online. He was able to make the appointment for the next day. My realtor was there for the inspection and we had a phone conference with Colin to go over his findings. He made sure to emphasize which items needed immediate attention, which items were typical (small cracks in drywall from house settling) and which items simply needed to be watched to make sure there weren't any changes over time. He took the time to answers questions I had. Within minutes of completing our phone conversation I had the written report in my email inbox. I was especially impressed with the thermal imaging. When questioned, he simply responds, 'it will be in my report,' without offering any clarity. He shows no initiative to help either the buyer or seller understand deficiencies, and his attitude is unprofessional and rude.
