Today I walked into the Holy Grail of coffee shops. Amazing smells and friendly faces from the moment I opened the door. The decor is welcoming and the chandeliers reflecting beautiful light from every corner. From cozy couches to a play area and quiet tables in the back. With so many coffee options from lattes , espresso to pour overs there is something for everyone. The pastries all looked almost too good to eat. I usually drink honey lavender lattes and although not on the menu I was told they do have lavender bitters they could create it for me. I appreciated that so much, but chose to be a little less high maintenance this morning and went with a honey vanilla latte lol. I also saw they had a yogurt bowl which included figs, granola, honey and fruit. The staff was amazing, lattes hot and the latte art on point. I was meeting a friend I hadn't seen in 20 years and it was the perfect place for our reunion. Sweet spot to sneak away for some alone time or like today friendship. Okay. You NEED to go here on the weekends for gravy biscuits. They. Are. Amazing. All the pastries were absolutely delicious and fresh (we tried 4 ), and their coffee was smooth and delicious from the local roasts La Barba. But what knocked all this amazing food out of the water was their KILLER service. The baristas were clearly crazy busy but were all smiles and enjoying their jobs. I live on the Sandy/Draper border, and there are not a lot of indie coffee shops to choose from. The area is overpopulated with the likes of Beans & Brew and Starbucks, and I don't like their coffee. Then, a few months ago on my way to work, I noticed an advertisement for a new coffee shop in town. Conveniently located on 700 E, they are easily accessible if I want to stop in before work or on my way home to relax. I've been coming here since they opened, and it's quickly become my favorite coffee shop. Tim and Jenn are the owners, and are there almost every day to serve up delicious homemade pastries and handcrafted specialty coffee roasted by La Barba. They are so friendly and knowledgeable and have a true passion for what they do. I love stopping in and chatting with them. They did an amazing job decorating Honeysuckle; there is a beautifully done playroom for your little ones, filled with books and play food and other fun discoveries. I wish they had been around when my daughter was smaller. She would have loved it! There are also different kinds of seating options, depending what you're in the mood for--stools by the window so you can look outside, cute little round tables with four chairs each, bench seating if you prefer, and even a more living room type setting with a coffee table and a gorgeous light green couch that is so comfortable to relax in. They also have free Wi-Fi, so it's the perfect place to enjoy a latte or tea while studying or working. I've brought several friends here now, and they all agree Honeysuckle is the bee's knees! So glad we tried this cute little place! I ordered their seasonal latte which is cinnamon based. It was very delicious! My husband ordered a regular hot chocolate and loved it! I also had a raspberry scone with lemon curd. So, so good! It did take a bit to get our drinks but they did warn us as it was quite busy in there. Perfect atmosphere to have a cup and talk, study, or get some work done. I love this place. Tim the owner knows his coffee and puts a lot of effort and work into creating great items. I've brought my 18 month old here as well while a grabbed a cup of tea and the kids area is perfect. Went here only to try the golden milk latte and it did not disappoint. Definitely worth the trip if you are a fan of golden milk.

I recently moved to the neighborhood and I'm so glad that I discovered this little gem! I really could talk your ear off about how great this place is. And, i do every time i get the chance to take a friend there. The atmosphere is great, it's local, they use other local products wherever they can, it's clean, and even though i don't have a young child they have a nice area in the back for kids to hang out and play (it's attractive and simple. Not tacky and stressful like you might automatically think), and the staff is always friendly and willing to chat and share their love of coffee. They recently started serving lunch items. I ordered the latte here and it was one of the best lattes I've ever had. It had the perfect proportion of milk to coffee where some places might put in too much coffee or too much milk. It was creamy and silky, and also looked super pretty with the latte art! It's a nice place to sit and work, which I saw a few people doing. I recently just moved to Utah from Overseas and I could never find any good coffee, but I looked up Specialty coffee and Honeysuckle popped up! I came in for a visit to see what the 4.8 rating was about! Immediately When I walked in I felt super welcomed by the two young gentlemen running the bar! They made me feel like I was at HOME! They weren't awkward they were themselves and knew their Stuff about coffee! I asked them for a flat white and just watched them go to work! They worked with Precision and care about their product while still engaging with me and other customers around them! I received my beverage and not only did it look good it tasted good! I didn't taste burnt or super sour which I was assuming I would get, but I couldn't be more wrong! They have a warm atmosphere. Its very comfortable and very friendly and they have positive vibes! When I read on yelp that they had a kid area... I was a little skeptical, but their kid area is limited! not enough to take over any specific area of the shop but enough to keep the little ones busy! Glad the see that it is still a coffee house and not a daycare!!! CUDOS TO THAT!!! This place is a great find! I was in Salt Lake visiting family and was in search of a place for a yummy Vegan Goldenmilk and Vegan hot cocoa and I had to look no further after finding them. The Goldenmilk is a delish turmeric tea and I had it with Oat Milk. The cocoa is dark and delish and dairy-free. I was a big fan and found this place a few days into my stay, and then went every morning. I also tried the GF pumpkin choco bread and the apple cider donut, both of which were fab!
