I wanted to buy a pair of cowboy boots and Cavender's was the first place I stopped at. Compared to places like Lucchese's, this place has boots that are on the affordable side. The first pair of boots that I tried on were the ones I ended up purchasing at the end of the day. I opted for suede instead of leather, since I was looking at them for more of a fashion statement. What I love about my boots is that it doesn't really look like cowboy boots and I could wear them with anything. She was kind enough to let me know the nurses week sale was coming and offered to hold my purchases so I could save 25%. I was buying a lot! So I purchased what would get me by and they held the rest. I went back today and picked up my hold. She remembered me and greeted me kindly. Selection is great! They have plenty of brands and colors so you can find what you need and what feels comfortable. When checking out they tossed in some canvas bags in different sizes. I got my husband Christmas present during the Black Friday deals online and I had it delivered. When I open the bag to wrap it, the security tag was still on it. I took it in and explain my issue and Josh was understanding about the whole thing. I even asked him about the size I got and he asked a few questions and I got the wrong size. He explain to me how a size in a jersey works. I told him there was a reason why the security tag was left on because I didn't get the right size and he agreed with me. Finally the manager stated that they could do the tax exemption as long as i provided the form that the store utilize to file their tax exemption purchases. I corrected the guy stating that the form he was asking for is what the stores have the clients fill out and it is not our responsibility to provide. At the end of the day we told them if they don't want our business we would gladly leave after making us waste our Sunday afternoon.
