And the handmade sodas, they need to bottle and sell that stuff. I know a bunch of people that would buy it (HINT HINT JOSH) Everything is fresh, gluten free and handmade from scratch. This little food truck is big on taste. And the staff, I can't say enough, Josh, Barbara and Kevin, you were all phenomenal, thank you so much. The hot dog was tasty but on the small side for the price. The braised bacon on my sandwich almost tasted like pastrami. Very greasy and salty and I didn't enjoy the strongly smoked flavor. It changed the flavor profile to the point where it didn't remind me of a Cuban sandwich. I wish they'd still had salt potatoes because I'd have loved to try them. If I ate here again, I'd probably try a burger or stick to the hot dog.

I recently had my first experience with Polo Loco (I know, I'm a little late to the game). They were at the Jaws Movies on the Block screening last night, and I couldn't resist trying a couple tacos even though I'd TECHNICALLY already eaten dinner ;-) I tried the PBJ (pork, black beans, jalapenos, cheese, sweet chili sauce) and the Napalm (chicken, jalapenos, Napalm sauce, cheese, Southwest sour cream). Both tacos are a play on a well-known combo, and both are successful for an Americanized taco experience. First off, you have a choice of soft or hard tacos. I went with soft, and got these babies served on smallish flour tortillas. An authentic taco is served typically on corn, but flour is also quite tasty in this case. The PBJ is pulled pork sandwich meets taco. It has a slight sweetness from the sauce and the pork, with a bit of spice from the jalapenos. It's quite tasty, but also a bit drippy, so be careful :) The Napalm reminds me of Buffalo chicken. It's chicken and a spicy "Napalm" sauce which is pretty much a version of Buffalo sauce. The cheese and Southwest sour cream combine to remind me of blue cheese dressing without the actual blue cheese. That creaminess along with the Napalm sauce is definitely reminiscent of Buffalo chicken, and yields a very tasty taco. I see lots of love here for the Grande Tacos, and perhaps next time I'll try one of those. I also know the Green Monstah tacos are popular, and maybe when I'm hungrier I'll grab one of those too. I'd happily visit Poco Loco on future occasions. Although their tacos are not traditional Mexican in style, they are very tasty and satisfying. They're also very cheap at $2 a pop! Two thumbs up for sure!

You can find all updates on their instagram under the handle Rogue on the Road. The food truck is longer than the average food truck. The fresh wood colored paint on the truck shows off their rustic colors from the restauraunt. The coolest feature of the truck is the undercarriage lights. At night, the lights change color to the beat of the music on the truck! Now let's talk about the best part: the food! Rogue on the Road will be offering a similiar menu to the restauraunt. It is a smaller rotating menu, including modified versions of their main staples and truck specials. I was able to catch them at Buttonwoods Brewery at one of their first pop ups. Pictured below is the Short Rib Burger: Aquidneck Farm grass fed beef, stout braised short rib, pepper jack cheese, caramelized onion jam, honey mustard aioli, arugula, fried onion strings, buttered brioche bun with a side of potato salad. Absolutely delicious as always! I am very excited to eat Rogue Island's food at different breweries this summer!

She had her daughter which I totally understand the no daycare issue for people that's not even an issue for me. I'm just making a statement. We were there doing the sandwich passport and she offered us a couple of different things. A chorizo sandwich which since we had so many to do today and that was our first stop I was afraid I'd get a stomachache eating something too spicy so I did not get that. And said we got a chicken sandwich she offered it. I don't remember the name of it but when it came, it looked attractive, but it was very thinly sliced and it also was very tough to eat once we've been into it. We had put mayonnaise on. It still didn't help. It was very tough to eat. It was stringy. I have braces. It was very uncomfortable. I couldn't really chew it or anything however, we did order it didn't come we ordered french fries I asked you have homemade maybe the homemade or we have the frozen. I said she's always checking so she checked and they had the homemade ones we had those those were amazing like we ate all the french fries we just could not eat the sandwich. It was very disappointing. It was supposed to be $13 but I'm glad we had it free from the passport because I wouldn't have paid 13 for it unfortunately it was one of the worst ones I've ever had. And even though she gave us a special menu of specials that are $10 or less Monday through Friday like sandwiches and fries or a drink or whatever we probably won't be back and I feel bad because she is a nice person. She's very friendly but unfortunately, the sandwich was really a put off for sure. They said they've been open for a year and a half and I'm not really sure how because like I said we were just disappointed.
