It's a large burger patty with an enormous roll.
    Barry H.

Every late Winter, I have this day on which I get a 2-hour, mid-afternoon dinner break and I've made a ritual of finding a place that is close enough to get to and enjoy a meal that my usual 1-hour break doesn't allow me to impart in. The menu at this new BBQ grill had me very excited anticipating their sumptuous food. Now, those who read my reviews know that 1 or 2 Stars is EXTREMELY rare for me. But with this many issues, I think you'll agree that I had no other choice: Just after 3 PM I called to order their signature item, the hole in one burger. But I was told that it wasn't available today. Oh well. So you order the classic burger instead. I drove 10 minutes or so to get to the restaurant parked and went in and my food was just about ready. Well, I took out the food and found the following: their burger is a good sized Patty, larger than most. But the bun is like a loaf of bread; so too much. The Patty was somewhat juicy, but way more than medium cooked, tasty with some onions and just a little wilted lettuce and "burger (Russian) dressing." There was a small bag of cold fries, no ketchup, no napkins, no fork for the little container of cole slaw; and no straw for my lukewarm Coke (which I saw the gentleman take out of the refrigerator behind the counter). I feel it necessary to point that the owner did point out that "it's been a long day," when the register man tried to short-change me two dollars in my change. No idea what to make of this, but there are too many good options to return here in the future. Sorry guys and good luck.

I'd received a notification that this spot near me had opened up. I'd been looking forward to coming to this place, because it had received such good reviews. My friends and I decided to make this our destination for our next 'Food Adventures'. When we got there, it was pretty packed. We took it as a re-affirmation that the food was really good. We waited a little for the booths to be re-aranged and have the tables cleaned from a large group. On one side of the restaurant, there was a long bar tables with individual seating. On the opposite side, there is booth seating, and right down the middle there are small tables for couples. There's plenty of TVs everywhere, and it's a great place for people to hangout. I'm pretty sure they'll have a lot more traffic once they start serving beer. We ordered our food pretty quickly. I placed an order for BBQ Popcorn Chicken and a Whole N'One burger. My friend ordered a Crispy burger, and my other friend ordered a Hot Spot burger. After talking to the man at the register, she also decided on some diablo sauce on the side. The popcorn chicken was okay. The BBQ sauce was very strong and overpowering. As for the chicken, it kind of lacked that crispy texture that you'd expect. It was different. My friends and I weren't fans. My friend who had the Crispy Burger liked it, but she also mentioned that there wasn't anything outstanding about it. It was a very standard chicken burger. My other friend really liked her burger, especially with the sauce on the side. She thought that the meat was very well seasoned. I thought that my burger was okay. Its definitely creative to deep-fry a burger. For me, the best part about the burger was the pastrami. The pastrami paired very well will the pickles and onions in the burger. I'm looking forward to returning. I want to try their entrees for sure. Hopefully they'll serve beer, then. Overall, this place is okay. The staff is friendly and accommodating, and the food is okay. Rooting for this small business!

I have came here to get a quick meal for dinner. I was not impressed with food much. The only piece that was good is buffalo sauce chicken wings. Other dishes I was not impressed by. My fires which the waitress just brought to us was already cold. That was strange. I was constantly getting up approaching the kitchen counter and asking our waitress for a lot of different things like ketchup, ranch sauce for wings. Which should of been part of service.

    Popcorn Chicken with BBQ sauce

Waiting for the Angel Spa next door wanted to use their restroom badly so I walked in and checked out their menu which looks reasonable and delicious. Wasn't that hungry so ordered Popcorn Chicken with BBQ sauce. The place had indoor dining, the guy who took the order was very friendly and knowledgeable. The order was quick but was disappointed with the taste since the pipe corn chicken was splashed with BBQ sauce. The sauce took the crispness and taste away. Not happy with the way the food tasted but willing to give this place another shot.

Chicken shawarma platter with mashed potatoes and veggies.

So, I got a chicken shawarma platter w/ mashed garlic potato and vegetables, For $18.75. And not only is that over priced but it seems like the menu has been changed and prices increased, within a 10 month range which I got from pictures on yelp. It wasn't worth it, mashed potatoes were really dry, the chicken lacked proper spicing, as well as the vegetables.

. Special manager dosent think its important to keep customers over here. To replace 2 dollars of lettuce

"The absolute epitome of an epic late-night meal."…read more With Francisco's platinum grade precision and finesse, the classic crispy is deemed locally as the official schnitzel sandwich of Kew Gardens Hills. A perfect crispy coat around two colossal chicken breasts tucked away in a fresh baguette with vegetables of your choice and two delicious homemade sauces. The masterpiece is then toasted to create a finished product so supremely balanced, you'll ask your self later why you hadn't bought more. The reason why sandwich bar is so legendary is because: 1. They're open late. So your late night munchies can always be satisfied. 2. They are consistently on point. There is no second guessing what you're going to get. It will be an epic schnitzel sandwich time and time again. 3. Boris, Sarah, and Caesar (the epic team of workers) always hook it up FAT. Needless to say, if you haven't stopped by sandwich bar for a crispy schnitzel, you haven't truly lived yet.

Unfortunately, it was not. Originally wanted a corned beef wrap-they didn't have corned beef. Fine. I asked what the difference is between pastrami and "crazy pastrami" and was told "it's the pickles they put it in and the craziness they do in the kitchen cutting it up". What that means remains unclear, but for $0.50 I went with the crazy pastrami. For the vegetables, I asked for lettuce, mushrooms, and black olives. The ingredients look like they've been sitting out for a few days, certainly not refrigerated. And they were put in a side-dish container with the mustard I asked for put on top then brought to the back to be incorporated into the wrap? Strange. The wrap itself was difficult to eat. I ended up not even bothering with the vegetables as they were not enjoyable to taste. I have no idea what white sauce is all over the ingredients, as it was nothing I asked for. The pastrami was minimal in quantity and even this was meh. All of the restaurants in this area have a slight upcharge for being kosher, which I don't totally understand. But in the end I truly regret spending $17.50 on this meal.

None of the other fast food places like Wendy's or Popeyes would go above and beyond for their mistake. Very much appreciated. The tenders and sliders use the same chicken, but sliders come with some Coleslaw inside. I recommend the medium spice level. They use a nice rub that's not too spicy. I'm guessing there's also hint of sugar that makes it so good. I would probably choose tenders over sliders since the buns on sliders masks the tastiness of the chicken. Fries were crinkle fries. Solid 5/5. My daughter loved Dave's sauce, which is good because I was afraid it would be spicy. Overall, pleasantly surprised and will come back!
