My parents and I really, really enjoyed both and though we told them to make it medium spicy, they had a lot of heat so be warned (and we can handle spicy!)! Service was a bit slow since they were pretty full but they apologized for that at the end. Food came out pretty quickly. We'd definitely come here again next time we're in Anchorage!

That said, the takeout experience has almost always been on the slower side throughout the years, so that is one area I think they could improve. Still, Phonatik is one of the better pho restaurants in Anchorage. I really think they have a lot of potential, but they may need to step up their game a bit to become truly outstanding.
