As far as coffee goes we all know it's not very good. For this overly sweet sugar drinks it's pretty good, but still nothing spectacular. Bean quality 2/5 Sugar drink quality 4/5 Vanilla iced latte, and green tea blended drink.

I love Human Bean! Fair trade coffee in a drive thru? Yes. Thanks. And I get a free chocolate covered bean? Great, that's awesome. Try the Human Bean Supreme, which I believe they now call the vanilla mocha. I get it hand blended nonfat, but you can get it hot as well. Stay away from the Mexican mocha unless you like cinnamon syrup in your mocha. To me that's a cinnamon mocha, but I still love you HB :)

We tried the Salted Maple Latte and the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew -- both were so yummy and felt like a warm hug on a chilly day. The flavors were perfectly balanced, not overly sweet, and just... chef's kiss. If you're ever nearby, definitely make a stop. It's one of those small finds that totally brightens your day.

Wheelhouse Coffee, located in Grants Pass,…read moreOregon, is a gem of a coffee truck that's become my beloved local spot, and it's easy to understand why. Nestled at Weekend Beer Company, this mobile café, run by a passionate husband-and-wife team and excellent staff, combines specialty coffee with a unique automotive vibe, creating a hip and welcoming atmosphere that draws a loyal crowd every morning. The picnic benches outside are always buzzing with various groups of people enjoying their drinks, chatting, and soaking in the community feel--proof of its status as a local hotspot. In my opinion, the espresso here is nothing short of excellent. Wheelhouse proudly serves Onyx Coffee Lab beans, delivering a rich, expertly pulled shot that's perfect for coffee purists as myself. The owners' favorite drink this time, the Salted Vanilla Latte, is a standout--smooth, perfectly balanced, and elevated by a touch of salt that enhances the flavors. I took it up a notch with a quad shot and a little extra salt, and it was an absolute game-changer, bursting with bold espresso and just the right savory-sweet kick. What sets Wheelhouse apart is the staff's genuine warmth and engagement. They're not just friendly; they take a real interest in your stories, making every visit feel personal and memorable. Whether you're sharing a quick anecdote or chatting about your day, they listen with enthusiasm, adding to the cozy, community-driven vibe. It is so "Right-On"! Dog owners, rejoice--Wheelhouse is dog-friendly! You can bring your furry friend to hang out at the outdoor tables, making it a perfect spot to relax with your pup. The location is also a breeze to access, with plenty of parking and proximity to the 5 freeway, making it ideal for both locals and road-trippers. It is worth the exit from the highway you will be glad you did! The service is top-notch, with baristas who are knowledgeable, attentive, and quick to whip up your order with a smile. Pair that with their seasonal offerings, like the rosemary brown sugar latte or iced vanilla rose matcha, and you've got a coffee experience that's both creative and consistently delicious. In short, Wheelhouse Coffee is a must-visit in Grants Pass. It is my top spot for coffee in Grants Pass. With excellent espresso, a dog-friendly setup, a hip morning scene at the picnic benches, and a staff that genuinely cares, it's no wonder this place has a loyal following. Don't skip the Salted Vanilla Latte with a quad shot and extra salt--it's a bold, flavorful treat that'll keep you coming back. Easy parking and a prime location only seal the deal. This is why I give this coffee shop five stars with complete confidence that they will continue to live out their culture of excellence for years to come.

While I empathize when business overhead cost increases and I don't expect them to eat it, I also am VERY aware that other competing brands of coffee in the PNW are not increasing their prices, and holding the line. Even some more small boutique brewers. I can name 3 or 4 brands right off the top of my head that many would recognize and their prices remain stable that I've purchased in the last week or two. And their coffee remains delicious. When I can get competing, and just as delicious products for approximately 15-16 a pound right now, that suggests it's one of two reasons: Either Rogue Roasters needs to switch suppliers, or RR is using tariffs as an excuse to price gouge- and I cannot say which it is, but I CAN say we are done with Rogue Roasters until they pull their prices back out of the stratosphere.
