Hours of operation are all over the place. You never know whether they're going to be open or not when you pull up to the drive up window. They say they don't have enough help why is that? I am a HUGE fan of the Human Bean - too bad it is all the way in Greeley and none in my neck of the woods. All looks aside - from being a freestanding drive through coffee shop in a weird shopping center - their drinks are actually pretty inventive and tasty. I usually order the frozen Milky Way (which I'm sure isn't the best for you in the calorie department), but is worth it in every way. I love this place. I worked nights, and ye ole friendly competitor was closed. I got a Snow Capped Rocky and it was the best. So if you're new to the area and don't know what this place is about, imagine a Starbucks that doesn't have a dine in area. They just have a drive-through. Only the coffee and selections are way better! If you see a crazy long line of cars in the drive-through of this place, there's a good reason for that. I think they use a little too much syrup in their drinks, because every time I got a flavoured latte it tasted way too sugary to me. It's not the best coffee I've ever had (tastes a bit weak and lacks substance), but the baristas are always exceptionally nice and reasonably fast most of the time, which is reason enough to stop by if you need a quick pick-me-up. read more

The Human Bean can be summed up in two words, BOMB.COM! Hot Snickers on a Cold day or a Cold Snickers on a Hot Day is the best. My wife and I have joked about opening one since we could probably support one just from our addiction. The girls that work there are always on top of it and happy to be there... Best coffee in town. I live their Mexi Mocha with an extra shot. My husband is a big fan of their frozen drinks- and he's suuper picky about his coffee. They do a great jobs with kids drinks too! The Bean is our favorite! They always have great service, team members are always friendly and on point. Their repeat customer rewards system is awesome and we always get emails with drink discounts and every 11th drink is free! Plus there's double punch days. Human Bean is active in our community and it shows. My only complaint is the lines can be long, but that shows you're at a good place! Advice? Utilize the walk up window when there are lots of cars in line, few people seem to realize this option and it launches you to the front of the long line! Good concept, smart to have a drive-up on both sides of the building, friendly staff. However, we waited in the drive-through line behind 4-5 other cars for over 15 minutes. The drinks we received (plain small lattes) were extremely weak with absolutely zero foam - more like a cafe au lait. The drink were so disappointing we ended up throwing them out. Maybe their "fancy" drinks are good, but this is a poor choice if you actually enjoy traditional espresso drinks. read more
