We stopped in here on Halloween for breakfast - the atmosphere felt like a modern diner with a twist - with a cute store in the space featuring different local artists (think everything from pottery to dog collars). It felt even more warm and homey to contrast with the cold, cloudy/misty day. You order at the counter and are given a number to place at your table, and you pick your own seat. The two ladies behind the counter were very friendly and helpful. We ordered a pumpkin spice latte, chai latte, waffle, and luna's burrito. Our drinks came out fairly quickly, and our food followed shortly thereafter. Both lattes were very tasty and fairly hot. The burrito came out first - it was very warm, and the wrap had a little crisp-ness on the outside. The inside was packed with scrambled eggs, bacon, jalapeño, potato and black beans. The salsa that came with it was really flavorful and bright. The waffle came out next and had whipped cream and strawberries with syrup on the side. It was also delicious. Will for sure come back when in the area again!

Gosh the numerous times I've been here to study and eat...This place is great if you're looking to catch up with friends, meet with a study group, study independently, or not study and do things for you (i.e read, contemplate, etc). Here are my reasons why: 1. Large open area. If the music is being played too loudly near the front, I can always move to the back where there are beautiful bay windows overlooking UNCO campus and the street cross section. I appreciate this because my eyes need to see green space in order to lock back onto my laptop screen. 2. Fresh/Good Quality food. I've had several items from the menu now, and looking forward to trying them all! I haven't made a bad decision yet so stay tuned for more pictures of menu items :) 3. Refillable coffee! And the coffee is amazing! I seriously prize the coffee "for here" rather than "to go" because it adds to the home-like feeling and makes me get into the study/goal-oriented mood. Why only 4/5 stars? If I had to complain, it would be that Saturdays are a toss up; they may have loud music events so the atmosphere becomes more social than study and highly distracting. However, I understand. These events build community and I kick with joy when I see little kids playing with their grandparents over avocado toast and ice cream. Okay, and if I were to add one more thing, it would be the price of the food items! They are pricey but they are delicious!

Avacado toast was on point. I will for sure come back if I'm in Greeley. Lovely notes of acid and salt in the geeens and radish. Just what I needed to start my day.

What a lovely place!! Been coming here for years and never thought to post a review, but I simply have to! The baristas are consistently friendly, kind, thoughtful, and good at their jobs. Even if I forget to bring headphones, it's fine because the baristas will always play cool music. Food and drinks have never disappointed. Although $17 is a bit pricey for a small coconut milk chai and a sandwich with chips, y'all make it worth it. Thank you :)

Great tucked away cafe with a lovely patio. Salad with garbanzos was primo and the chai blend is light. I definitely recommend this place.

The bar almost resembles something you might find in a small European hotel, which may suggest they are aiming for a slightly upscale tone, though it never feels pretentious. The seating is varied, with small tables and retro chairs that seem intentionally chosen rather than bought in bulk. The spacing is better than most coffee shops, which makes it easy to settle in without feeling crowded. The back area opens up even more, and the soft drapery adds a touch of personality that appears to hint at events or just a bit of flair. The staff continues to be the standout for me. Everyone I spoke with was kind in a way that felt natural, and they knew the menu well enough to help me navigate dairy free options. I usually order the avocado toast on focaccia because it is consistently fresh. The bread looks oversized at first but is airy and soft, and the avocado and radish topping feels simple in the best way. The matcha made with water has also become a go to since it tastes smooth and well-bodied without that chalky, thin finish some places have. My partner and I visited during their Dia de Los Muertos weekend and tried a few themed items. Everything was good, and they were quick to suggest dairy free choices. Prices seem fair, even with the general bump everywhere lately. The only thing I wish they had more of is outlets. It is still a nice place to work for a couple of hours, but coming with a charged laptop helps. The overall vibe is calm with just enough energy to keep the space from feeling sleepy. It works well for coffee dates, casual catch ups, or solo work, especially for anyone who prefers a relaxed atmosphere without too much chaos.

Bring a jacket or blanket depending on the time of the year but even if it is brisk it will be worth it. The space is cozy just like the mountains. The staff here try to make it happen. Otherwise, we were mightily disappointed. Saturday, late June ~1pm - we were seated quickly enough. Took a while for the server to take our order (~10 minutes before she came for our drink order) and it took well over 45 minutes for our food to come out! They weren't particularly busy (lots of open tables) and there were a lot of servers. Maybe short staffed in the kitchen? Probably more disappointing than waiting so long was the food itself. Potato soup was "fine" but nothing special and way too much bacon. Three of us got side salads and every single one of us had warm lettuce. Not even room temperature - warm, like it had been sitting under a heat lamp. The turkey panini had way more mayo that should be allowed on a sandwich and the bread was barely toasted. We waited so long for our food we couldn't risk sending it back. As it was, we were there for so long we had to change our afternoon plans to go to RMNP because we rain out of time. Fortunately, we live only an hour away so we can go back. If you are looking to maximize your time in Estes I would not recommend Notchtop. Plenty of other options in Estes.
