We love this place! Their coffee and tea is always fresh and delicious. Very quick and friendly service. They have over 80 flavors and can create pretty much any customized drink you can dream of. Each drink is served with a yummy chocolate-covered espresso bean which is also delicious. My only complaint is that it's difficult to make a left turn when leaving Human Bean and I wish that they had a traffic light. But... it's worth it for the good drinks. read more

Went to the human bean in Lexington KY on 1946 Harrodsburg road. Website says they close at 9pm, went at 810, the open sign was still on. We pulled to the drive thru, two ladies were in the store, no one said anything, pulled to the window, they hid from us. I had to call them and they said they closed at 8. Poor customer service, lights and everything was still on, the ladies just didn't want to help at all.. read more

First off, I love their drive-thru coffee concept because it's efficient and convenient for customers, especially for those always on-the-go, like myself. Secondly, the coffee at The Human Bean is delightful and top quality. Their menu has a wide selection of coffee, teas, smoothies, etc. that you can choose from. Their breakfast sandwiches and muffins are delicious! Whether I'm dining-in at a restaurant or on-the-go and want to grab coffee or a smoothie, I always appreciate good customer service because it makes any experience enjoyable. The customer service at The Human Bean is excellent- their staff is friendly and professional. They always go out of their way to make you feel welcomed. I pulled up to the drive thru telling them it was my first time here and they gave recommendations and told me all about it. When I got to the window they were even nicer, asking about my day and complimenting my nails. These girls were so sweet and I will absolutely be going back! Although all I got was coffee that is what this place is - coffee. Although it has tea and other drinks I'm talking about a good ole cup a joe fast. It's better than McDonalds but will cost about twice as much. Got the bold roast or dark roast. Pretty mild compared to Starbucks and about the same price for a 16 oz. I'm so glad I got a chance to try this place. I was in town visiting family, and I really wanted some coffee. I knew I didn't want Starbuck's or Dunkin, and I found this place when looking for a nearby local place. So glad I did! The drive thru was pretty fast, and the menu was diverse enough for coffee lovers and coffee haters alike. I tried the iced snowy white, and it was delicious and not too sweet. I just drove 6 straight hours from a helping with a rescue, yes speeding on the highway when I could, to get here before they closed. Bc the closest one from my house is 3 hours away. My husband called before to let them know my gps said I'd arrive at 8:01, got there at 8:02 (weird location or stupid gps) Said they would wait and didn't. Was passing through in search of my morning pleasure and came to receive my drink made wrong, everything watered down (including their water-gross), & incoherent drive-thru workers. I love the human bean! I usually went to Starbucks but the coffee here makes Starbucks taste like trash. Service here is great. I can pay on my phone through their app and earn freebies. You can't do that in our local Starbucks yet without a gift card. Every coffee comes with a yummy candied coffee bean. Later starbucks, I'm taking my business to the bean!!! read more

I've always been a huge fan of the human bean, until recently. The past four times I've went there they messed up my order. The employees seem very disorganized and not trained well (at least the newer ones). The coffee tastes either burnt or like nothing at all. I've tried so many times to give them second chances, but I will not be back. read more

I have been to the human bean so many times I cannot count. The staff is absolutely amazing and they are the sweetest girls on the earth who brighten my days when I talk to them at the window. However, the older man who works there always seems to mess up my drinks and does not talk to me the same way as the other employees. It feels as though he is being forced to have a conversations with me. I don't trust his vibe. My friends who also visit the human bean have told me the same. I did not want to post a negative review, but I wanted to share my thoughts to let potential new customers know what the true atmosphere and experience is like at this store. read more

The coffee is great but the cups continuously leak. I have been maybe 10 times and out of those times 5 of the cups leaked from the bottom.

They treated me terribly I think cause they didn't like the color of my skin. I had a pretty terrible experience and my girlfriend that is white got treated like a queen. Plus they gave my friend who is allergic to blueberries a blueberry muffin. She clearly asked for chocolate. The employee gave her blueberry and it was clear it was blueberry and kept telling us we were wrong and we were seeing things. When she opened it to prove it theGirl at the window said now we're for sure not taking it back because you opened it. Highly disrespectful staff. were never Coming back there. read more
