Wine ice cream (21+ bring ID)

The only sad thing about this place is they only open Thur-Sunday and i like my ice cream throughout the week but i guess they're helping me keep my weight haha. I had their soft serve ice cream and Wine ice scream (21+). Their soft serve is creamy and smooth. Better than DQ, McD or Chick-fila ice dream. Their Wine ice cream is light and delicious. I recommend for ages 21+ to appreciate the flavor and texture. This place makes different flavors and you better come quick because the popular flavors disappear fast.

Want ice- cream, go here to The ice cream Stand across from the historic trail monument and fountain in downtown Syracuse. Meet the charming owner Amanda ( see pix) and choose from a variety of ice cream floats with great local brand sodas, a selection of hard ice creams or soft twist with toppings. It is a corner store with entrances on two sides, a few bright outside chairs, and even a small child size table and chairs inside along with seating , tables and an accessible bathroom for customers. Tip here be carful of GPS map as it can send you on a long walking tour instead of a place a few blocks down. Another tip, hungry stop by Kofta for a burger Potato wedges or a strawberry salad and take a photo op by there deco sign inside.

It was wonderful going to an event here and meeting Amanda, the owner. She gave us great background about her business and concept. There will be one or more new flavors of her homemade waffle cones. Acai was my favorite, so fruity and the blueberry sorbet was so creamy and perfect with the acai. All the waffle cones are thin, light and crispy. The cinnamon flavor was amazing with the strawberry cheesecake ice cream. It almost seemed like a crisp crust for the rich cheesecake flavor. The ice creams are from different sources, carefully chosen to make sure they are outstanding.

This place has the creamiest, richest, coffee flavor ice cream I've ever had. 10/10 My boyfriend and I came in on a late Saturday afternoon after walking around downtown and the blues and brews festival was going on. Luckily, this spot was open and when we got in there were so many options to choose from. The boozy options looked tempting but I decided to go with one of the recommendations that the person at the counter gave me. I ended up with the coffee by itself which was refreshing and rich. My boyfriend picked the s'mores flavor with cookie dough topping and he was not disappointed. We sat outside on some lounge/beach style chairs they have right outside of the shop. Overall, we had an amazing experience and will be back.

Enjoyed this place. Located in a safe part of downtown near Clinton Square and surrounded by lots of restaurant choices...making this place a no-brainer for dessert. Lots of metered parking in the immediate area, which are free after 6 PM. There are a few seats outside and a lot of seats inside. Prices are reasonable...($4 for a single scoop which is quite big). They also have lots of interesting flavors including some Vegan options. The super chocolate one was great...very fresh and creamy. The worker there was very nice and patient. I would definitely be returning again to try some other flavors/options....maybe one of their ice cream sandwiches or shakes.

I came on a hot day with family after a trip to the MOST. It is just a quick walk from most places Downtown. There were 9 hard flavors out today including dairy free/ gluten free options and a wine option. They make their own waffle cones. Flurries, ice cream sandwiches, floats, and shakes are also available. We got mint chip, lemon wine, and strawberry lemon sorbet. All were delicious. The downside is that the location is not labeled well. There is no signage with the name, just the hours and a hanging icecream cone that you could miss if driving by.

I attended an event here today and work made me so late that they were packing up. The owner was so sweet she brought out German chocolate ice cream from the back and still told me about all her new flavored cones. The cayenne chocolate cone was incredible- it offered a spicy kick to yummy, cold ice cream. The açaí cone smelled and tasted like a blueberry muffin. The cardamom cone is refreshing and cooling, perfect with any refreshing ice cream flavor. I think my favorite was the cinnamon cone because it's a classic and goes with any desserty flavor. The ice cream stand never disappoints. Eat local!!

Small vanilla soft serve and a plain cone for my dog :)

I LOVE this place. I've been coming here since last September and have tried a fair amount of their ice cream flavors without disappointment. During my first visit, a man who I think was an SU student broke out into a mini break dancing session as he waited for his milkshake. If their ice cream calls one to dance, I'm all for it and you know it must be good. Their vegan ice cream -- so good. Mint chocolate chip -- a delight. Their fruit flavors, i.e. raspberry, et al, also so good. But, my personal favorite is the Chocolate Lover's Chocolate. My taste buds are immediately activated by this flavor and if they could, would also break dance. On my last visit, I got a vanilla soft serve. Yeah, it might seem boring, but it was soft, airy, and creamy. It truly hit the spot after a very decadent dinner. And my dog was able to enjoy a plain cone as we walked around outside to "work off" the calories.

What yummy ice cream!! This was such a nice treat yesterday with the warm weather. This is a very cute space in the heart of Clinton Square with lots of gluten free and regular options available! High quality ice cream, great service and awesome fun! This would be great for date night, fun for kids or nice friends outing!

Once upon a time I worked downtown, passed this place often (during winter, it was closed) and swore I'd try it. Well, the warmer months came, and I was working at home. Every weekend I tried to motivate myself to get downtown, but couldn't quite find the inertia. Finally, I mustered up the momentum to drive down and try the place. The shop has safety protocols posted, and staff was very diligent about wiping down surfaces. The girls working behind the counter were very friendly and sweet. The menu is sizable but not too overwhelming. They serve Gifford's ice cream, a local brand. I opted for the cherry blossom flavor, which was scrumptious. Sweet but not too sweet, with cherry pieces. I ate in a chair outside facing Clinton Square. This shop is pretty great, and a nice spot to grab a treat if you're downtown.

This place was so awesome. We wondered in while we were waiting for a soccer match to start and thank goodness we did! The soft serve was so good but this root beer float with it was so. damn. good. The staff was amazing and patient since it was our first time. I would visit again and again and again.

The shop has a beautiful view of Clinton square (especially in the summer with the fountains!) The customer service was wonderful and very inviting! I had a scoop of sea salt caramel truffle and it was luxury for my tastebuds.

Amanda and the crew at The Ice Cream Stand are always dishing out smiles and the most delicious ice cream around! The soft serve is one of our classic faves OR try the sea salt caramel scoop! I combine that with strawberry cheesecake on a cone and *chefs kiss* This is a fun spot that often has live entertainment B.C. (before covid) like music and stand up comedy. We love getting ice cream on a warm summer night and walking across the street to Clinton Square to watch the sunset.

There is always a pleasant vibe to it and often there are people chatting or working on laptops. Employees are always really nice. I really enjoy the Pandan Matcha. Its so hard to find pandan drinks in the area! I find the drinks are often really sweet and so its important to order them with no sugar or less sugar. The boba is okay although the straws they have been using lately are too small for them so they lose some of the shape and correct texture. A random thing I love about their drinks are they used a crushed ice, it makes it feel appropriately portioned to the drink itself. Although I am not a coffee person, the cafe lattes are my partner's favorite in the area and they are highly customizable. It's also nice that they offer a carrier when you have a few drinks to-go. Interestingly, the cake and desserts are the weaker part for me for Cake Bar. They are often pretty dry for my tastes. My favorite has been the potato chip cookies, but I have only seen them a few times. The chicken wing dip buns are pretty good and filling though and are worth trying! This cake came out exactly like the reference photo I sent. It was a three-tier cake, vanilla cake with strawberry filling in each layer, and it was absolutely delicious. They didn't have the specific decorations I wanted, so I ordered them on Amazon and brought them in the day before pickup for them to decorate the cake--and they did a great job bringing it all together. I also want to add that this is not my first time getting a cake from here, and every single time they absolutely kill it. Consistency matters, and Biscotti never misses. And let's talk about the mini fruit tarts--because whew. I always treat myself to one (or two) whenever I place a cake order. They are fresh, perfectly balanced, and so good every time. I picked up my cake on a Sunday around midday, and it was super busy, which honestly says a lot. Plus, this is an actual café, not just a bakery. It's a really cool spot to sit, grab a coffee, and get some work done during the week if you need to. The atmosphere is a whole vibe. As a Brooklyn boy I always found it odd there was no tip jar, we do things differently where I'm from. The prices for their goods is extremely good. Syracuse, take note of this and cherish your establishments. I walked out with two dozen donuts & a single danish cheese for $25. A famous national chain charges I think over $2.25 for a subpar donut. When I visit Cuse, I always stop here but this past time I feel the donuts were not as fresh as they once were, this could be very biased due to my experience and I don't go that often, the regulars will have better input in quality of the years. But what happened below is why I'm no longer stopping in. Saturday the 27th I pull into the parking lot and see a woman outside asking for change, very normal for me where I'm from. I don't say anything. I came inside to do a good deed, bring my neighbor and his children a dozen of donuts and grab a dozen for my family and an army buddy visiting from the west coast. I'm in a good mood. I never give people change, I always buy food. I decided I'll buy a cheese danish for the very thin woman outside in the cold. I add that to my order. Total $25 gave $30 and told the Wonderful Woman who took my order to keep the rest for herself. As I walk out, I offer the woman the cheese danish. She declined it. In a very rude way saying "she doesn't eat desserts". Now toots, you're in front of a damn bakery. People are more inclined to give you food as opposed to money so we don't support your clear drug habit. In Brooklyn where I'm from, the people like that still take the food, say thank you as it's still a kind gesture with good intentions and tosses it when you leave. That being said, there is no issue at this point. I say, "ok, have a good day and walk to my car". If the owner would like to review footage, it's the black 4Runner with NY disabled veteran plates. As I'm getting into my car, the same woman screams at me. Saying "bounce b-I-t-c-h" and telling me I better leave. Of course I reply with every profanity known to man and leave. The next morning I go again to take two donuts for my drive back to Brooklyn. Guess who's there? Yup the same delusional woman. Asks again for change and I tell her, "not after the way you treated me yesterday, I'll probably never give someone anything again that asks". Then she says "why does this man come here? I walk inside, order my two donuts and receive great service from the gentleman with glasses, who I gave a $1 tip to in two donuts. As I'm walking out another customer in the waking into the parking lot of course hands her a dollar. I told him my experience and he still chose too, hey it's America do what you wish. But when this broad is here every day, it's because people keep giving her money. But hey, his choice. And I'll do as I wish. I will no longer be coming to a Harrison Bakery. If they allow a delusional person to sit for hours everyday on THEIR property to accost/ harass customers, they cleary do not value us as customers to have a great peaceful experience. The donuts & Black & Whites are not that good to have to ruin my vibe. It's their property. Harrison bakery is 100% responsible of who is on their property and for what purpose. Syracuse PD will have no issue with issuing a no trespass for this person who literally stands or lays against the brick wall all day. Keep in mind. This is coming from someone who literally grew up in homeless shelters from time to time, even a bit of time at the Vera house down the road.
