I celebrated today! Why you asked? Last September I had a blood clot in my right lung. I had to take blood thinners in the process to clear my system from it. Now that I'm free from DVT. I detox for like two weeks before getting a third and final ear piercing. Ear piercing places normally don't supply 14kt with diamonds as the starter earring. This place does, the diamonds pack a lot of clarity. I'm rating the diamonds as SI-2. Top quality I say so myself. Yes it is pricey around $100.00. But it is so worth it though. When in Rome go big you know. It's available in white and yellow tone gold. The lady did it so fast. The piercing didn't hurt. She did it so quick. They have clip-on earrings!!!! No more will I search in vain online for clip-on earrings. Normally I wouldn't give a store like this a second thought, since I automatically assume everything is expensive as crap anyway. However, when I walked to the very back of the store (where the jewelry section is), I swear I could hear a chorus singing. CLIP-ONS. For us non-pierced folk, this was a god-send. AND there was a buy one get one half off going on for these accessories, so naturally I walked out with two adorable earrings with a large, stupid grin on my face. A couple friends and I came in for a cartilage piercing and there were a good six people in front of us. Customer service was very friendly!! I asked the name for one of the songs that were playing, and the worker immediately tried looking for the name of the song for me! They had a buy one, get one 50% off deal and I overheard the manager talk about how it would be the most expensive purchase which is a pretty sweet deal. She was also very helpful to another customer looking for jewelry and discussed even other types of jewelry that the customer could wear even though it wasn't IN THE STORE, but just to recommend. Presentation of store is really nice, have a variety of other things that aren't jewelry(but still nice). I think it's a bit pricey, but I liked what I bought so it's okay. read more

The sales team here are very professional and friendly. I was greeted the moment I walked in and asked if I needed assistance with anything. They didn't have the item I wanted on display so they went to the back and came back with my item. They also checked up on me every 5 minutes while I was browsing. During my visit to the store, I was greeted by a friendly Icing's worker (who I letter found out was named Regina). Regina exhibited excellent customer service, assisting me during my shopping time and also welcoming and assisting each guest that walked in. WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE EVER. Do not waste your time or money! I bought a faux septum ring here, and upon taking it out of the packaging to put it on, it snapped in the middle. Within 5 minutes of my purchase, I went back into the store to return the broken item. The "stylist," Amber, rudely informed me that I could not return the item because it was body jewelry, so they wouldn't be able to resell it because it could be contaminated. But, it was broken, so why would they try to resell it anyway?! I was told that I could either take a store credit, or exchange for another item from the store. I decided to take the exchange, but upon looking around realized there was absolutely NOTHING I wanted to buy! Everything was cheap, cheesy, and tacky looking, and I was very concerned that anything I bought would immediately break! I ended up exchanging for an arm cuff, necklace, and body chain that were part of their 3 for $15 deal. I really don't know how long they'll last. read more

Are you kidding me? Am I mistaken? Is there another secret Icing in the mall that I was totally unaware of? HOW does this place have 5 stars??? I couldn't be more offended by the service I received at my most recent visit to this place. I was on a mission to get a really cute red bow headband that I wanted to match a shirt I have, not like an exact match but to be complimentary to the shirt I had. I knew that the Icing had the headband I needed because I had seen it there a couple days before. I walked in and immediately saw it and picked it up. When I picked it up I realized that it did not have a ticket on it. Just when I realized that, a sales person approached me and asked if I needed help. I explained that I reaaally wanted this headband but it was missing a ticket. She asked where I found it and I pointed to the section. She walked over and grabbed the same headband in a different color and I thought, "awesome! now she can use that to reticket it and I can be on my merry way. Super!" But no. She asked me if I was sure I didn't want the black (ticketed) headband. I was sure. I explained that I wanted it to match a shirt. She again asked if I was sure I didn't want the black one, adding that mismatching is "kind of" in right now. I found this to be humorous/annoying because I am a personal stylist and I work in fashion on a daily basis and I'm guessing that by mismatching she was referring to color-blocking which is an entirely different look than just mismatching. Clearly, she just didn't want to make a ticket. I told her (politely) that if she didn't want to make a ticket I could try to find a red one that had a ticket already. She said okay and then left me alone as I tried to search for another headband. I left totally disappointed and completely with out a new pretty headband. Wanted to return a pair of new earrings cause my sis didn't like them but they wouldn't take the earrings back because I didn't bring the "disposable circular backs" of the earrings. You know, those clear circular things that everyone throws away?? Also, shitty ass person named Anika was rude as fuck. She left me in such a bad mood, I honestly don't know how she has a job. I bought my mom a gift here it was some make up and a six pack of brushes. My mom wasn't wild about so I went to return it less than a week later. I go in and the lady rudely tells me that I can't return make up. I understood that part they might think there used but when I asked about the brushes she said I couldn't return them either I asked why and they were considerd make up. They weren't open at all so I $50 in product there that I don't want and they did nothing to help me. Make sure to ask if the returnable because that was my first mistake. Today I shopped in the store for only about 10 minutes since I was in a hurry. I went and stood in line. As soon as I joined the line, the customer in front of me and the salesperson behind the counter, left. I stood and patiently waited for them. Meantime, I noticed that another employee was standing at a rack located next to the counter, not assisting a customer. The cashier/salesperson continued to help this customer in the back of the store. About 5 minutes went by. The cashier then went into the back of the store and returned about a minute later. Finally, I nicely asked if I could be rung up. Before I even finished the question, she snapped my head off with a loud statement that she was only in the back for 30 seconds. Then she went on to tell me that she had been helping someone and that the other girl was brand new and that she was "the only one there". I then asked if she could ring me up and she abruptly said that she still had to help this other customer. I then waited about another 2 minutes. In total, I waited almost 10 minutes to purchase my two items. I understand that the other employee was new but I don't understand why she was not able to assist the cashier in any way with this customer that needed assistance finding something. I don't get why she had to snap my head off for just asking if I could be rung up. I don't really think asking to purchase something in the store is reason for this outburst. Her attitude and her statements were completely uncalled for and she raised her voice which was also very unnecessary. She never apologized for the wait, she never apologized for speaking to me in the way that she did. Her attitude very clearly expressed that if I didn't like waiting 10 minutes for my items, I could just leave. The other customers in the store were also taken aback by her demeanor. I was going to purchase a couple more items if they qualified for the sale but at that point I was really running late and I didn't want to spend another dime in your store. If it wasn't a Christmas present, I would have dropped it as soon as she responded to me in this manner, and never returned to your store. In addition, I was shocked to see that her nametag claimed she was the manager. read more

Went to EXCHANGE a pair of earrings I purchased at the Concord store because they had started to tarnish after wearing them 3 times. The first sales person I encountered was very nice she looked at the earrings apologized and went to go look for another pair. Brianna steps in and proceeds to tell me I need the receipt (which I had) and the plastic casing that the earrings hang on (again I had) she looks at the receipt then tells me she can't tell which plastic casing that the earrings I'm returning goes to (I had purchased 2 pair of earrings originally and both plastic holders were in the bag) and that she can't return the earrings without it and that the earrings look really worn anyway. I told her I didn't want my money back I wanted the same pair of earrings and that the reason I wanted to exchange them is because yes they did look worn and tarnished. However they should not look like that after 1 month and me wearing them only 3 times. I had the other pair I purchased on and they looked nothing like the pair I wanted to exchange. I then had to look at the UPC numbers on the plastic casing holder and point out to Brianna which pair went with which holder that wasn't rocket science all she had to do was match up the numbers. I didn't appreciate her unprofessional and rude nature during this transaction. I had all necessary items needed to exchange the earrings and Brianna still gave me a hard time with the exchange. She was on the verge of sending me back to the Concord store to do the exchange. The sales lady who originally helped me came back and kept apologizing for not having the earrings and Brianna's rude behavior. In the end my earrings were not in stock and the original sales lady offered me another pair that was similar to the ones I brought. I'm thankful for her help but Brianna needs more customer service and sensitivity training. read more
