This is probably the only place I'd happily be walking into, screaming out SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS!! I came in for my hep b titer, later followed by the hep b fast track vaccination. Office is small, but kept nice and tidy. It is very quiet, and the receptionist is incredibly friendly. She answered all of my annoying questions, and even laughed at my repetitive joke. LOL. Pricing is very affordable - much better compared to other immunization clinics. Shameka is bomb. Like, I want to be like her. She was responsible for my titer and vaccinations - and let me say, I'm always hated by every phlebotomist I meet, because my veins are tiny.. and annoyingly hard to draw blood from. I warned Shameka, and instead, she was confident and made sure I was at ease and comfortable while she did it. She located my vein IMMEDIATELY and I didn't even feel any discomfort at all! Shameka made me laugh instead, making me less nervous and scared. Results came in the next business day via email and phone call - she helped set up my vaccination appointment and even provided alternatives since I was in a time crunch. From the past two times I've been here, I've been seen like 5-10 min right before my appointment time - which I greatly appreciate! When I came in for my first series, Shameka administered the vaccination and I was literally in and out. They welcomed me with a big smile, and remembered my name! My husband and I were looking for a quick immunization clinic to receive the necessary vaccines needed for our Philippines trip. Thankfully, we found one that had fair prices as well as great reviews. Initially, we had problems with booking the appointments due to schedule conflicts. Other than that, everything went smoothly. All the people were nice and accommodating. The nurse who gave us our vaccines was very skilled and did not cause us any muscle pain. I called an scheduled an appointment to get a HepB Titer needed to apply for nursing school. The lady I spoke with was really nice, she answered all my questions. I arrived at the place around 1:10 (appointment was scheduled for 1:30) and was out by 1:20. Shemeka was very friendly and sweet and make me feel comfortable. My experience here was fantastic. I scraped myself playing tennis and needed to get a quick tetanus shot somewhere that I could afford one, but there were little locations that I could find which I could get a shot before Monday. I left a message here and the RN, Yvette, called me up this morning and set an appointment for within the hour. I went down there and the wait time was quick, likely due to it being Saturday morning-which is a rarity in of itself. Yvette was friendly and a helpful comfort to talk to, the shot was quick enough that I got there before the appointment time scheduled and out before the actual time scheduled. Yvette was informative and told me what I could expect after the shot and so on. As for the cost, it was affordable: $55 for an adult tetanus shot. I highly recommend this location. read more

Shameka is extremely friendly, informative (she lets you know what to expect from each vaccine you receive), and very knowledgeable (she knows exactly how to administer shots as painless as possible). Getting shots are never pleasant.. but I had to in order to enter into a medical program at school. Their prices are fair and you're in and out of the clinic in less than 30 minutes with an appointment. The nurse, Ms. Yvette, was so nice. She saw that I was uncomfortable with needles and talked to me to distract me the entire time. I didn't feel a thing! It's obvious that she loves what she does and genuinely cares about her patients. It was so refreshing to come across a nurse with such a charismatic personality, especially since I am entering the medical field myself. I started my nursing program and was required to have a bunch of vaccines, titers and skin test an I only had about 8 weeks to be compliant. I called all over including my PCP and no one could see me till the end of the month. I could wait that long. I found the immunization clinic on Google so I gave them a call. Ms. Yvette answered the phone and was so informative and helpful. She asked me how soon can I get there and I was there in 15min. She was able to get me in same day and get me started with my titers and flu shot. Let me just say I am terrified of needles but Ms. Yvette has magic hands and great technique I barely felt a thing. On that alone I've been back for all my vaccinations for school plus they have a student discount. Everyone I've met at the office is so nice it really calming for someone like me that hates feeling like a pin cushion getting a bunch of shots. I am having a surgery that requires 3 rather unique immunizations, there were only 2 areas in Houston that could provide these immunizations for me and this is the one I went to. I live about two hours from the clinic, so made a phone call first. The young lady I spoke with over the phone was so nice! Now a days, that doesn't always happen, but she was patient and walked me through the entire process. I got lost on my way and she guided me to the front door! Once entering the clinic I felt like I was family, each person could not have been nicer to me. The director (Yvette) took the time to sit with me, talk with me during my shots. This company is a fairly small company that is associated with a nursing education company that I have used in the past. I needed a few titers drawn so I emailed the company and made arrangements. When I went to their location I was a bit uneasy because it literally was just me and the nurse who was drawing the labs. It was only a small feeling of unease because the office is in an okay area and it was the middle of the day but I would have preferred a receptionist or someone but instead I had to press a buzzer and wait. For most people this would have been no issue but I am a near deaf individual so I could only press the buzzer and keep repeating my name and appointment and hope someone was hearing me. I am not totally deaf but if I can't see you speak I can't hear you. She did come to the door promptly and the paperwork and lab draw was fine. I did specifically ask when the labs would be back and was (I thought) very clear that the results were to be sent by email (I only text on the phone). Instead of sending the labs through my e-mail or calling my sister whose number they did have. They called me to "discuss my results" - if I didn't have visual voice mail I would never have known they called. I sent an email telling them I was upset at the phone call and not receiving my lab results and that I expected them the next day, by email. I even restated that I am a near deaf individual and would NEVER be able to talk on the phone. No results. I had to have my sister call before I finally got the results and then they ended the call by telling her they didn't think I had anything to be upset about. Apparently I had offended them when I said NEVER call me. I am not sure why but I felt a need to try and make them understand and sent an email explaining that discrimination is always hurtful and upsetting. Then I was awakened tonight at 10:22 pm with an e-mail from the company telling me I was using my disability as an excuse to be rude. It felt like someone got drunk and was doing the deaf version of drunk dialing. I gave the company 2 stars because the location was fine. the place was clean, the nurse I dealt with was professional and I did eventually receive the results in the manner I requested. For me personally would I ever go back, nooooooooo. Do I recommend them no --- there are too many places that offer the same services without the discrimination. Yet, I still feel bad. I want to support small businesses but I just can't get past the poor response to the handicapped. read more

I can't say enough great things about the Immunization Clinic. I called a few weeks ago to find out how the process worked. I had just applied to a Health Care program which required me to get quite a few titers drawn (5 to be exact) before I would be able to go to a clinical site. The nurse who answered the phone was so incredibly helpful, letting me know what paperwork to bring with me in order to get the student discount. A few days ago I received my acceptance letter and immediately emailed to make my appointment. The nurse who replied to me, Shameka, made the appointment and even told me what time the lab picked up samples so that I could make sure that I had my blood drawn in time to get the results back quicker. When I showed up for my appointment, the nurse was prompt and courteous and so incredibly friendly! I will recommend this office to anyone in my program who needs any vaccines or titers.
