I recently had a wonderful opportunity to stay at The Inn at Oxbow Acres. I had a very lovely rustic room decorated in a bird theme. I was surrounded by the majestic scenery of the great north woods. I enjoyed watching some of their animals through my bedroom window. The breakfast menu had a nice variety and I did get to try each delicious entrée. The Innkeepers. I had a wonderful weekend stay in this beautiful location! Maria is a fantastic and friendly host, my room was very comfortable and the breakfast each morning was very yummy! The location is fantastic-- beautiful Mountain Views remind you that you are in a beautifully remote and wild location. My girlfriend & I came here to relax & unwind after hiking some 4000-footers in the Whites. Our hosts, Maria & Brian were so very nice & made great recommendations of where to go for local activities. They are normal, down-to-earth people, which I enjoyed being around. The accommodations were superb, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Our room & bathroom were super clean, modern & very comfortable. Breakfast was carefully prepared, plentiful & absolutely delicious. We enjoyed farm fresh eggs from their own chickens & Maria's homemade sourdough bread. It was cool to be on a real, working farm with many farm animals. We enjoyed sitting outside & enjoying the views in the fresh mountain air. We only wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely go back to visit & stay. read more

We had a wonderful experience at the Inn at Oxbow Acres. We love to head out on adventures and go where the road takes us, always booking our overnight stays same day, usually a few hours before bed. How delighted we were to find a room available at this charming Inn. Maria was incredibly helpful and very communicative from our first call. We were greeted by Echo, the Inns adorable pup. We walked in to the Inn to find Maria chatting with some guests at the dining table. She provided us a beautiful menu to choose our breakfast and had it ready promptly at 7:30am as we had requested. The sheets and bed were amazing, the all natural products in the shower were great and the breakfast was phenomenal. We will back here any time the road takes us. I also did some research and found out they host weddings. We may also look into having our wedding here, it was that beautiful. read more

I loved my stay at the Inn at Oxbow Acres. Maria does everything she can to make your stay enjoyable. My room was decorated beautifully with a cotton quilt, comfortable sheets, mattress and great pillows. The room was super clean and the views were amazing. The meals were also exemplary. Breakfast was French toast and sausage one day, and pancakes and bacon the next. My room even had a new AC unit. This is the perfect spot for anyone looking for a quiet getaway. read more

Such a hidden gem. The rooms are impeccable, lounge cozy and classy, the views are outstanding and host very friendly and helpful. Bonus: hostess recommended sunset at Milan hill state park 2 miles down the road, I watched gorgeous sunset from tower,also amazing scenery of mountains from Massachusetts to Canada. Bonus: the ranger at the park recommended oxbow inn for star gazing and I saw beautiful large stars stud a beautiful sky. I don't think I will ever forget this place. read more

We had a phenomenal stay at Oxbow! Maria and Brian made us feel like family. The inn itself is SO nice; such beautiful spaces. The bedroom was beautiful - cozy, clean. We were very pleasantly surprised at how clean the inn was and so happy to spend our short stay there. The food was DELICIOUS - eating breakfast made by Maria was such a wonderful experience. Peaceful and quaint with tasteful upgrades. What a lovely bnb! Maria and her husband(didn't catch his name) were so warm and welcoming! Excellent hosts. They bought the inn a couple of years ago and have tastefully remodeled the entire place and working on additional upgrades. Our room, The Carlos, was charming and cozy. We had a great night's sleep on the comfy king size bed, with quality mattress and linens. The bath is small but has a beautiful tiled shower and other designer touches. Great water pressure and I am guessing, a continuous hot water heater. Breakfast was OUTSTANDING! Maria is a fabulous cook! We had several options to choose from. The special order frittata was delicious and my husband's fried over medium well eggs were cooked to perfection. You must try the baked oatmeal! It's almost like a dessert. We had a lovely evening on the new deck. The fireworks show was a fabulous bonus! Only wish we had arrived earlier to visit and enjoy the property more. read more

I had the opportunity to spend two incredible days at the Inn at Oxbow Acres. Being from Southern California, the quaint town of Milan, NH was stunning and what a treat to wake up to the gorgeous surroundings of the Inn. We were treated like family by the owners, Maria and Brian. The Inn was extremely comfortable and the accommodations were second to none. We had daily breakfasts which in my opinion were some of the best I have ever eaten. Compliments to the Chef- Maria. I had an adventure of a lifetime as Brian took me out on a canoe down the Androscoggin River. We spent a good part of the day enjoying the sights and sounds of the wildlife and breathtaking scenery. Overall, our stay was really an incredible experience. This big city fella was able to enjoy all the comforts of a small town and am looking forward to the next time we can stay at The Inn at Oxbow Acres. Thank you Maria and Brian. read more

Perfect. The combination of the beauty of the White mountains with the comfort and hospitality of the inn makes a vacation or overnight stay a wonderful experience. Incredibly comfortable beds with linen that feels better than silk. I slept better than I do at home! Brian and Marie made us feel more comfortable than any where we have ever stayed. A great weekend getaway, beautiful scenery, comfortable, clean appointed rooms (beds and bedding were fantastic). We travel to the area frequently and decided to try something new. So glad we did!! First of all I need to say that we love the area, the people and wild life that can be found around here! You can add the Inn at Ox-Bow. It has recently changed management and though you might see some renovations underway, everything needed to welcome guests is there. We were warmly greeted by our hosts, Brian and Maria. The rooms are newly renovated, new mattresses, internet and a very nice community area. You are provided with all the basics to get your day off to a great start!
