When we sat down for breakfast we were served a fruit cup with fresh fruit. Our breakfast consisted of 4 slices of French Toast, good amount of crispy potatoes, 2 eggs (we choose over easy) 2 slices of bacon for me and 2 sausages for my husband. Im not a big eater but I ate almost everything on my plate. My husband ate all of his. It was very delicious and reminded me of a breakfast my Mom would make. I didn't get to meet Linda but I booked our Reservation with her and she was very friendly and it went smoothly. Andi was really nice and always had a smile. The continental breakfast was better than most I've had in a motel or hotel. Great coffee and real milk with a large variety of things to eat. The best part was learning about some of the amazing features of the building like a hidden cigar bar placed in a perfect original setting complete with a special ventilation system to remove the smoke from the room. The rooms are very simple and I love the minimalist look- exposed brick, no cheesy motel art. the beds are really comfortable and the sheets are nice with a simple white duvet (no cheesy motel bedspreads) and lovely pillows. Any questions there is always a friendly staff member to steer you in the right direction. Tent sites, RV sites, cabins, and even a yurt, your choice. My 2 favorite sites are 69 and 74 with 74 over looking the lake. All sites are clean. Landscape very well maintained. Pool is excellent. Laundry room, dish washing area, rec center. Outside chess board, fishing, paddle boats and kayaks. I highly recommend this campground. Great place to camp with kids also. Right down the road from santas villiage amusement park.

Mountain Lake Camping Resort is one of our favorite locations to camp in New England. Located a…read morecouple hours north of Nashua and Manchester it's the perfect place to getaway without being too far from home. Everything about this campground shows that the owners take great pride in it. They have online bookings, text communications (including reservation and quiet time reminders) and they have recently added a checkin booth so you don't have to hop out of your vehicle to go into the office to register. The views of the lake are gorgeous (especially in the Fall) and the landscaping is well maintained. There are several amenities like a pool w/ water slides, dog park, beach, fishing dock, dog swimming dock, paddle boat/kayak rentals, playground and oversized chess/checkers. You can also order homemade muffins to pick up in the morning for breakfast. Their campground store is also one of the cleanest and most well stocked ones that I've ever seen. The prices were also very reasonable (although I really wanted a hoodie as a memento and $40 was just a little more than I was comfortable spending). The biggest negative of this campground is that if you have one of the sites near the front there is quite a bit of road noise. That kills a bit of the ambiance while trying to kick back and relax but the beautiful views from the sites near the front mostly make up for the sounds of loud vehicles passing by. It's also not enough of a nuisance to rate them any lower than 5 stars. In addition to regular camping sites they also offer yurt and cabin rentals which is a nice option for people who don't own camping gear or aren't fans of traditional camping. If you're looking for a lovely place to get away Mountain Lake Camping Resort is an excellent choice!

I rode in with my SUV and the town's people set up with outdoor furniture and congregating in the town square. They were a lawless bunch and one of the lady walked up to me as if she was the sheriff and told me the speed limit was 5 mph. My 185 horse power engine never went over the speed limit since I have very good eye sight and saw her toddler from 100 yards back wandering around on the road like a lost coyote. I bit my tongue and thought to myself, you should put a leash on that pup of yours and stop blaming others for your lack of a parenting skills....I didn't want a showdown at sunset so I nodded my head and went on my way to set up camp for the night. As for the Fort itself, the bathroom was unkempt and dirty. The campsite was unraked and had litter every where. I've seen better homestead further north. The RV definitely ruled the Fort and outsiders were stared and glared upon. On the positive side, It did have a store, ice, laundry and the high school kids who run it were friendly. The campground is designed for family with kids and there's a amusement park next door that is great for the little ones. I'd recommend management to clean the bathroom (scrub showers, sweep floors) more and rake the camp sites of any debris and leaves. I think next time, I will keep trotting along until I find a better place to set up a tent.

We used Paulette Couture Photography for our wedding this past Memorial Day Weekend. To start, we…read moretruly appreciated that Paulette Couture was available to us by phone or email, and always took into consideration the time difference between NH and CO. Most importantly, we loved that because our venue was hours away from Paulette's home, and because we were having multiple events over the weekend, Paulette was willing to spend the entire weekend with us! We got her a cabin onsite, and she took it from there. She captured detailed photos of the resort and took time to familiarize herself with the venue in advance of the big day. It meant so much to us to have her with us the entire weekend because it allowed us, our friends, and our family to put their phones and cameras away and not worry about taking photos themselves, and instead be in the moment. During each event, Paulette was hardly noticeable at all. She was completely respectful of the interactions we were having with one another, and did her absolute best to capture these moments from the sidelines. After the weekend was over, Paulette was extremely fast in getting our photos back to us. When the package arrived in the mail, we were thrilled about the gorgeous presentation - we received a beautiful wooden box with a few of her favorites already printed for us, as well as a thumb drive of photos organized by event - you could totally see her passion for photography in the presentation of the package! We are so looking forward to working with Paulette again, and absolutely recommend her for capturing your big day!
