Breakfast Burrito ordered served with potatoes. Overall, good portion size. Salsa included was flavorful but lacked some boldness. A pinch of/ more of Serrano would have added the necessary punch. Potatoes were good, but heavy on black pepper. Could have overcome the earthiness of peppers and onions with ground chili powder or a pinch of nutmeg for smokiness and used fresh garlic as the source of spice and more flavor. Chorizo lacked the spice and punch to overcome the sweet and earthy tones of the tomato and green onions giving it a slightly bland approach. Would have like to have seen a crispier tortilla on a burrito meant to be knife and forked. For the price, @ $15.95 was not impressed; even for a hotel restaurant. read more

7/5/25 In Doubletree Hotel. Getting breakfast for tomorrow! Build your own omelet; egg white, mushrooms, broccoli, peppers, cheese & pancakes ordered. The worker was nice, but did warn that it could be a while. One chef. They do not take calls to order. You have to go in. It's in the very back upon entering. Very nice. Safe and clean. Calm. Waited for it to be ready in a side booth by the register. Fountains going. Luckily, it didn't take very long. The worker was kind. Received shortly later with thanks. 7/5/25 Happy Sunday everyone! Omelette split. My half was Really DELICIOUS! Great veggies, especially jalapeños to spice it up! Flavorful! It came with country potatoes and those were Great too! Seasoned with peppers! Great kick! I have stayed twice now at this hotel and both times have had the Lemon Chicken Piccata, both times it was delicious. Last night i was served by the bartender Jeff. He is such a fun and charismatic bartender, and you can really tell how much he loves and enjoys his job. It made the whole dining experience that much better. Eating indoors at a hotel restaurant with buffet during the pandemic. Came here during the Dixieland Jazz Festival here at the Doubletree Hotel  by Hilton July 9-11, 2021.   All hotel employees masked and wearing gloves. You order like at a fast food restaurant, right at the front counter check in desk, pay for your meal, and find an open table, waiting for the meal to come in a take out container. Black styrofoam containers, plastic utensils, and paper cups. Beautiful setting, eating indoors in the 8 story atrium, with waterfalls and the glass elevators in the background.   Place has changed during the pandemic, with limited hours and limited menu. Lunches and dinners no longer have buffets, with no weekend lunches. The breakfast no longer comes free for Hilton Honors Gold or Diamond members staying at the hotel.  Instead you get a $12 daily credit per member toward meals. Wife and I arrived Friday, got a $24 credit for Saturday dinner and a $24 credit for Sunday breakfast, when we left. The credit is applied for meals eaten at the International Cafe. The menu is similar to the room service menu with the same prices. Wife ordered a $13 cobb salad and I ordered the daily special $13 meatloaf for dinner. Beautiful presentation, and large serving, with cobb salad coming with lettuce, tomatoes, sliced eggs, onions, sliced avocado, sliced ham, olives, with dressing on the side. Meatloaf comes with vegetables, potatoes, and at least 8 ounces of sliced meatloaf, covered with tomato sauce. AYCE breakfast buffets at $13.25 reduced in price from the $16.95 AYCE buffet breakfast prior to the pandemic. No pancakes, and no eggs benedict.  Continental breakfast items include orange juice, refrigerated bagged pre made pastries, croissants, apples, oranges, yogurt, sliced fruits over ice, and toaster for sliced bread. Did not see any waffles or bagels.  Wife always fills up her thermal container with hot coffee.   My ex would have filled up her styrofoam container with the hot items of AYCE breakfast scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, and roasted cubed potatoes for take out. Only the standard hotel rooms here have no microwave ovens to heat them up! read more

The salmon udon meal used to be great. I've had it ten times or more. The last two times, the Udon was not cooked properly and inedible. It should be chewy and savory, but now it's crumbly and off-putting. A small change could make it a 4-star meal. read more

Breakfast here is average and is ok. But dinner is exceptional in my opinion. Kassandra is amazing and super nice. I love coming here to eat dinner and appreciate the kindness of people. This place is FANTASTIC if you like hairs in your egg whites, the greasiest and slimiest hash browns on the west coast, and a server with the warmth of North Pole, this cafe in the Radisson is just for you! My husband and I were hesitant to try this place out because a bad yelp review but the area didn't offer many breakfast places. We came here and ordered breakfast and I was pleasantly surprised!! The place was pretty busy and the service was still good! Great prices and tasty food! I got the two egg breakfast and my hubby got the Spanish skillet. Both were very good! Not one complaint. Side note, the hotel has changed owners and is no longer a radisson which is probably why food is better. read more

Well,it's "convenient". We're at the hotel for a music festival,and nobody else in our party seems to want to take a short 1/2 km.walk to a place where we might get a decent breakfast. Least know what to expect here,and pay a steep price for it! Well,we did indeed have our breakfast there,and it about met expectations;fair at best,although the coffee was decent . Yesterday eve. we had supper there,and the Angus beef patty i had was afflicted with 3rd degree freezer burn,was in some sort of flavourless bi-coloured slices of bread,with particle-board fries on the plate .The pasta dish the Mrs.had was nothing to rave about either!And everything was quite pricey.The Sierra-Nevada ale was very good,as always ,but they didn't make that,did they.The servers are quite a good group of young people ,and deserve every consideration . My family and I came to this place after my graduation commencement held across the street. Though there were well over 2,000 people across the street, we were pleasantly surprised at how few people were dining. That's about where the pleasant surprises stopped. After being sat at a table we waited for at least 20 minutes before we had our waters filled. By the time our server got around to fill out water, everyone at our party were ready to order. 40 minutes later, after we noticed several table which were sat after us received their food, we asked our server if there we and issue and if something could be done. He offered the manager. When the manager (Kathy) came out she stood, staring at the members of our party. When we stated that we had been waiting for an hour she, in a very short and dismissive tone, stated we had only been waiting for 30 minutes according to our ticket. The classic "it's not as bad as you think" defense! She left as quickly as she came, but not before shooting our table a glance of equal parts disgust and distain. Our food finally came. Mixed reviews. Predominantly a resounding "meh." Pretty pricy to boot. One might assume the manager would come out and check in to make sure the customers were taken care of after a situation like this. Kathy was never to be seen again. Full disclosure she did give us 30% off of the meal. All in all, skip this place. read more

As it was sort of late, and guest at the hotel, choices were limited. Geez I wish I had of gone out. I decided to eat at the bar and I have to say, the bar staff are great. However, the food leaves a lot to be desired. The appetizer of the crab egg rolls was good. They were light flavorful and presented well. But the main course, what a disaster. I ordered medium rare steak. Not too hard you would think. It came extremely well done, bland and just plain old bad. The bar staff were very apologetic and tried hard to please. Everything comes out well presented, pity it just isn't well cooked. Get a better chef, someone who actually can cook, and then it will be worthwhile. Definitely avoid if you're staying at the hotel, plenty of better options within a few blocks. read more

Standard hotel food. The food was mediocre but convenient. Our biggest disappointment was the service. We received the wrong order and when talking to our waitress about it she said that we hadn't ordered the meal by it's complete name so she assumed we meant something else. This place just gets worse! Very expensive food for bad quality. With so few places to dine downtown, they kinda "got you" if you can't drive. My date night was two entries and two beers each for $100 with tip. I ordered a $11 burger. It was an obvious frozen Sysco patty and dry as leather. My wife had the piccata and had no flavor; none! Where's the lemon or caper taste. Save yourself! Drink lots in the bar, and order in. This place is just getting worse. read more

What a shock! The restaurant at the Radisson in Fresno, CA is terrible. After a long morning hiking in Yosemite Nat'l Park, and a 3 hour drive we settled in to the really not bad 3 star hotel across from the Conference Center downtown. My family and I were tired and decided against my better judgement to just grab a quick dinner in the hotel rather than pay for a cab to a better place--big mistake! Service is terrible, food is barely OK. It's best to take what this hotel can offer--good rates, OK location (near airport), a 'we-try-harder' attitude...but stay away from the restaurant. A nearby Castillo's for Mexican food would be a far better bet. read more

We have often found that hotel restaurants aren't that great, but . . we decided to try this one for convenience sake - and SOOO glad we did! First, please note that it is in the Doubletree, NOT Radison Hotel - they changed a year or so ago. Our server was VERY pleasant and there is a nice variety of items on the menu (chicken, steak, fish). We had crab cakes to start with. My husband really liked them; I thought they were OK and have certainly had better. Our main dishes were good - my husband had the soup and salad bar which was very nice - 2 types of soup and several very nice salads - and I had a grilled veggie sandwich which was very good (on a focaccia and with garlic aoili.) The ambiance is nice - very open and overlooking the hotel main area with an indoor cascading water fall. We would not hesitate to eat here again. read more

after 8 days driving and 8 hotel/motel stays we opted for the doubletree. knew they would be able to feed us. so many times hotels just serve get by food, but we really enjoyed our dinner. we ordered the flat iron steak and the chicken Jerusalem and found both entrees completely acceptable. our server was perfect, polite but not too too friendly. no complaints other than the wine list leaves much to be desired. we live by the Hyatt in downtown sacramento and their restaurant, Dawsons could take cues from this location. if I lived in fresno I wouldn't hesitate to dine there again. read more
