Not bad for a hotel restaurant, but not great. Breakfast burrito and croissant breakfast sandwich are good. For dinner, try the pork chop if it's available.

Eating indoors at a hotel restaurant with buffet during the pandemic. Came here during the Dixieland Jazz Festival here at the Doubletree Hotel  by Hilton July 9-11, 2021.   All hotel employees masked and wearing gloves. You order like at a fast food restaurant, right at the front counter check in desk, pay for your meal, and find an open table, waiting for the meal to come in a take out container. Black styrofoam containers, plastic utensils, and paper cups. Beautiful setting, eating indoors in the 8 story atrium, with waterfalls and the glass elevators in the background.   Place has changed during the pandemic, with limited hours and limited menu. Lunches and dinners no longer have buffets, with no weekend lunches. The breakfast no longer comes free for Hilton Honors Gold or Diamond members staying at the hotel.  Instead you get a $12 daily credit per member toward meals. Wife and I arrived Friday, got a $24 credit for Saturday dinner and a $24 credit for Sunday breakfast, when we left. The credit is applied for meals eaten at the International Cafe. The menu is similar to the room service menu with the same prices. Wife ordered a $13 cobb salad and I ordered the daily special $13 meatloaf for dinner. Beautiful presentation, and large serving, with cobb salad coming with lettuce, tomatoes, sliced eggs, onions, sliced avocado, sliced ham, olives, with dressing on the side. Meatloaf comes with vegetables, potatoes, and at least 8 ounces of sliced meatloaf, covered with tomato sauce. AYCE breakfast buffets at $13.25 reduced in price from the $16.95 AYCE buffet breakfast prior to the pandemic. No pancakes, and no eggs benedict.  Continental breakfast items include orange juice, refrigerated bagged pre made pastries, croissants, apples, oranges, yogurt, sliced fruits over ice, and toaster for sliced bread. Did not see any waffles or bagels.  Wife always fills up her thermal container with hot coffee.   My ex would have filled up her styrofoam container with the hot items of AYCE breakfast scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, and roasted cubed potatoes for take out. Only the standard hotel rooms here have no microwave ovens to heat them up!

Had a steak dinner and food was just ok, wish they had better sides to compliment the food.

So good! This place is FANTASTIC if you like hairs in your egg whites, the greasiest and slimiest hash browns on the west coast, and a server with the warmth of North Pole, this cafe in the Radisson is just for you! Now, I wasn't actually looking for any of those things so I found the entire breakfast disgusting and inedible, but hey that's just me.

    Great breakfast!

My husband and I were hesitant to try this place out because a bad yelp review but the area didn't offer many breakfast places. We came here and ordered breakfast and I was pleasantly surprised!! The place was pretty busy and the service was still good! Great prices and tasty food! I got the two egg breakfast and my hubby got the Spanish skillet. Both were very good! Not one complaint. Side note, the hotel has changed owners and is no longer a radisson which is probably why food is better.

Fish & chips from kids menu. Yummy!

We have stayed at the hotel and eat almost every day here two years ago, food was great! This year we are enjoying it too service a little bit slow... but we are in no hurry :-)

I'm not too close to Fresno but would recommend this to anyone who is in the area. I would make it a point to come back again if I were in the area for sure! My husband got the chicken and waffles while I ordered one of their specials of the day - rib tips. I got mashed potatoes and macaroni on the side (they were delicious but definitely regretted not trying other sides). The rib tips were perfect, smokey and tender. The fried chicken was sooo crispy and juicy. I do prefer crispier waffles, but it still went well with the very crispy chicken. The portions are plentiful, I had enough for a second meal.

Our favorite: fried green tomatoes and okra for appetizers. The sauce was awesome. 5 stars! The sides: collard greens were very salty for my taste but full of flavor. Rice pilaf was flavorful but was also salty. Sweet potatoes were perfect. Corn bread was just ok. 4 start. We met Chef Paul himself. He was nice and very funny! The restaurant is small so there will be a wait. We got there around 2pm so we didn't have to wait too long. Maybe just 20 mins. We'll be back for sure if we're back on that side again.

However, it is definitely worth it! For a while now I have been wanting to try this place and finally for around to it. The staff was great very kind and friendly as soon as we walked in. Our waitress was amazing, she was always checking up on us, making sure we had everything we needed it and that we were comfortable. I ordered the Fried Chicken Biscuit with Tater tots and for my drink I ordered the OG Lemonade. Starting with the sandwich, the chicken was nice and juicy, very crunchy as well. The flavor of the chicken was very good as well. The buscuit added that nice hint of sweetness that just tied the whole thing together. The tater tots were definitely crunchy, which I loved. They give you a very well serving of tater tots. I did not end up finishing mine, but they had great taste and texture. The lemonade was very refreshing, and it just hit that spot so well. It was appealing to the eye and tasted like freshly squeezed lemonade. Overall experience was 10/10, I would come back. The place gives off vintage coffee shop vibes even though it is not a coffee shop. Seating is definitely very limited inside. However, they do have outdoor tables with umbrellas which is a nice touch. Price-wise I would say it is a bit pricier compared to other similar restaurants I have visited. The total came out to $45 for two plates of the chicken biscuit and two lemonades.

But while the food was delicious as usual, everything else was surprisingly mediocre. Despite not being busy when we arrived, we had to wait over an hour for our food and watched while other couples received theirs and ate before us, despite coming in 15-20 minutes later than us. And even though it all tasted great, my food was cold, as if it had been sitting for a while. We were told a couple of large to-go orders came in that disrupted the timing of our food, but in reality, it seems like our order got lost in the mix. It finally came 70 minutes after we arrived, and I was surprised that when my partner asked for a refill of their tea (which they naturally finished well before our food came), they charged them for a second drink and didn't even offer to comp the refill for the long delay. I don't expect freebies when I go out, but it just seemed like we were more of an inconvenience to them than anything. It's unfortunate because their food is always great and I want to see them continue to succeed, especially during this difficult time with road construction outside. But this was a pretty frustrating experience, and will unfortunately make me hesitant to dine-in again in the near future.

Hahaha I got to visit them last year at end of February. They have plenty of parking in their lot. The place looks nothing special, but it's that animated lady and the food that makes it fantastic! :) When we got there, the place was pretty full. Most people ordered their normal items. You don't see "Bomb Ass Shit" on their menu because it's a secret item, but the lady wears a shirt promoting the "Bomb Ass Shit"! LOL.. We got the Bomb Ass Shit of course along with two drinks. We found a table in the back and waited for our food. Not too long later, our number was called. As we're approaching the counter, she's happily recording with her phone while I was trying to record too, but unfortunately, I forgot to push on the "start" button so I didn't get any footage. Thank goodness that she was filming so I just save her video from her page later that day! :) She's so interactive, funny, and happy! She definitely made the experience fun! She asked if I was Korean, and I was like "No, I'm Chinese." She told me that she's Cambodian. The food was big portioned and very tasty! We'd loved it! We also couldn't finish it all between the two of us even though it was just one order of Bomb Ass Shit. They have a restroom on the side of the place which you have to get a code to enter. It was clean. I would definitely return again the next time I'm passing through the area! :)

I had enough on my plate for two people but I ate as much as I could and brought the rest back home. Pro tip: cook and over medium egg the next morning, warm the rice on a frying pan or Nuke it, place the over medium egg on top of this amazing fried rice and you got yourself a bomb breakfast. The ambiance is spacey, relaxing and clean, before I walked in they were mopping the floors and cleaning all tables so I know how clean it is and how thorough they were to make sure it was prepared for the rush on a Friday evening. Overall I really enjoyed me Experience, people complain about the price but for me that was more than enough food for two people and the quality of meat, produce, chicken and authenticity of style of cooking, and that personality when you first come in is something you can't pay for, and an experience worth trying. I'll be back again and thank you for the amazing food.

The photos online don't fully represent what the place actually looks like. The restrooms were in very poor condition, to the point that I didn't even feel comfortable going inside. When we first walked in, there was no greeting or direction from staff, and it wasn't clear whether we were supposed to seat ourselves or order first. Another frustration was that there were no prices listed on the menu. It's difficult to order when you have no idea what you're spending or how much the drinks cost. I ordered a large Americano, which only came with two shots of espresso. For that size, I would have expected three or even four shots. The coffee wasn't very strong, and instead of fresh half-and-half, they only offered the small packaged creamers. My parents ordered the Number 3 and requested it on a plate. The eggs were overcooked, the beans lacked flavor, and the potatoes were not crispy at all. We also found it odd that it wasn't served with bread or even a tortilla. I ordered the Number 1 as a torta, and I would say that was probably the best thing we had. The chorizo was flavorful, and overall I'd give the torta a 7 out of 10. Unfortunately, the atmosphere and overall food quality did not meet our expectations. Based on our experience, we won't be returning.
