The Raven is hands down one of my favorite in the Upper East Side. Perfect Guinness every time. The food is worth while as well: wings, burgers, and few creative options too. Solid pub to watch the game. I came here with a friend to watch the Knicks and we scored a good seat at the bar. They have a small cocktail list, as well as a draft list. I also saw some folks ordering food but we did not partake in that. Plenty of seating. Restrooms are clean. Music playing is good. Plenty of TVs with all different sports. read more

They serve up complete and total slop food to their customers, overcharge their customers compared to every other bar in the area, and refuse to stay silent past public quiet hours. Went here for a football Sunday. Would recommend this place as the vibe is more relaxed and doesn't get overwhelmingly crowded as compared to other bars on the UES. Service was efficient and attentive, something you don't get at every crowded bar. They serve food- got the nachos which were really well done, awesome portion with even toppings and great for sharing with multiple people. They demonstrated some food chops with their spice bag, a chicken tender and fries in a dusting of curry spice mix. Was good to try. The Raven is a neighborhood gem. An Irish sports bar with delicious food! Great atmosphere and really friendly service. They do a Smash burger deal on Wednesdays and it's my favorite burger in the city! They also have a great cocktail menu with seasonal additions. If you are looking for a cozy chill sports bar on Upper East side look no further. The Raven was just that. It may have been because I went at an off time sort of but very few people were there, bartender was super nice and beer selection was great. They have games through out the bar for us to play. Jenga and connect four just to name a few. I am sure it gets crowded on weekends a d for sports games. But nothing bad to say about this bar at all. Highly recommend checking it out. read more

One of the neighbors favorites, always lively ambiance good music and affordable drinks. This is a must if you are looking for a gun place to hang with friends, spacious enough for big groups, and no table service which is great. This is a pretty standard NYC pub. They have a decent number of tables and high top seating, as well as a large bar. The tables were not cleaned off when we first sat down so we initially had to move used glasses out of our way ourselves before the waiter came over. This place is a disgrace. Bar was half empty and decided to give it a shot and watch rest of the game. We were rooting for the Chiefs. The bartender kept ringing the bell for the Bengals. We were drinking water and got one Diet Coke. We weren't in the mood to get alcoholic drinks and they didn't serve food. When Chiefs made a big play we were like "RING THE BELL" the bartender gave us attitude and made remarks we were "cheeky" because we were only having water. For a new place that is looking for service that is definitely not the way to build a customer base. I originally said are you serious and after he was cursing at me I then got hostile back. Never in my life have I ever gotten into a fight with a restaurant worker nor have I been chastised for drinking water. This guy has a serious attitude and should be reprimanded. Great pub to hang out with a group! I went with a group of about 15 people on a Sunday. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The bar is clean and family friendly with plenty of TV's and good music. The kitchen wasn't open yet when I went, but the bar tenders let me order food from a nearby restaurant to be delivered. I don't think I've ever had a worse bar experience in my life. Worst atmosphere not because the bar was half empty but the bartenders are extremely rude and have no respect for customers. Even made a disgusting comment towards Americans. I also watched each bartender charge different prices to customers and there are no prices listed on menus.
