This is a small place that does not seem fancy at all. When you walk in it feels like a fast food place. You go up to the counter and order then you can sit at a table. They will serve you. They use real silverware and they clear the tables. Now for the import part....the food. It was very good and they also have wine and beer (but a limited selection). After the initial hesitation we really enjoyed Italian Twist and we will return. The only downside was the air conditioning. It was turned down way too cold. It is also obvious, they do a big take-out business also if that is better for you. read more

For basic pastas when you absolutely cannot and do not want Noodles and Co, for the same prices and "make your own pasta bowl" options, this is a great alternative. They have a great online ordering menu on doordash. I was going to use their website but the service they have charges more for an online pickup order than doordash pickup. I do not at all recommend their breads though. It's not great. Very frozen-to-oven tasting. You are better off stopping in the same shopping plaza at Panera and getting a baguette. They have special dine in lunch prices that are even cheaper than the online ones. You can find them on the menu board next to the register when you go inside. read more

Oh my God! I love this place! They recently added beer and wine, which is a plus... But the food will carry it! I love being able to go get a bowl of spaghetti for lunch, and not spend an arm and a leg... This is homemade and truly delicious. I'd take less pasta with the same amount of sauce. the cheese bread was $9 for mush. I can't imagine they get repeay customers. would not recommen. Very good pasta joint and neat concept. We tried the carbonara and it was saucy but that's how we like it. Also tried the garlic bread, which was glorified texas toast basically, nothing too special to note there. Overall a nice quick Italian stop. For fast casual this place is amazing. The shrimp dishes are great, and my daughter loves the chicken parm. Don't go here for "atmosphere", it isn't a fancy restaurant. It is like noodles and company atmosphere. The prices are great, the service is great, and the food is delish. A great stop if you are out shopping etc. They even have a small selection of wine. We ordered delivery through a popular app and got the rigatoni with vodka sauce, carbonara, garlic bread, a side, Caesar salad, and both the tiramisu and the chocolate mousse. Everything was fresh, hot dishes were very hot, and everything was super delicious! I think across the board the Italian food here beats all of the other Italian restaurants in town as far as the pasta goes. We came here on a whim as I wanted Italian food, and it had good reviews. They offered a GF pasta option, which caught my eye. I got the GF Linguine in the Pesto Alfredo and added grilled chicken. Almost $20 for the meal. My partner got an Italian Club with fruit and a small size (2 pieces) of the garlic cheese bread. We asked for a side of sauce for the cheese bread as well since it doesn't come with anything. First, there is no place in the front area for the employees to wash their hands after handling cash, which they prefer. And they just remodeled. Maybe I'm the only one that thinks that way, and I did notice she was washing the tables in between, so her hands were going in that bucket of sanitized water, but I'm just saying. The people were very nice. Our main meals came first, which is ok, I would have thought everything would have come together. The bread should have been the fastest, but it did come a bit later. The bread, as you can see, was like a garlic toast type topped with cheese. It did look like there were herbs on it. I didn't care for it, my partner said it was fine, but he wouldn't order it again. We never got the sauce to go with it, and it needed it. My partner really enjoyed his sandwich. He said he would get it again. I really enjoyed my pasta it was REALLY GOOD. And though I feel it maybe have been a bit overpriced, it is a small business, and I get costs are going up. Overall vibe and feel. The vibe to me is like a fast-food type of Italian place. The ingredients are fresh, food is made to order, and at prices we can all afford. The portions are two healthy meals worth. We really wanted to like our delivery meal from this quaint, casual, family-run cafe. Unfortunately, it seemed like we had ordered directly from Sysco's institutional Italian menu. Both the meatball and sausage sandwiches were sub-par (sorry for the pun, but it's fitting), with their disappointing breads and flavors. The salads--Caesar and Cobb--had that unmistakable factory-made, mediocre quality and taste, kind of like what you'd expect from a hospital or civil courts facility. Today was our first time here, we will definitely be back! The service was amazing, the manager was on top of EVERYTHING. The table next to us dropped some food and he came instantly to pick it up and brought another one without a thought! He was super sweet and when we slowed down, offered us a box to enjoy the deliciousness on our plates for later. I only like one thing better than I liked this meal and that's Rita's frozen custard lol. I ordered lasagna, a French baguette, a house salad and the tuxedo bomb. Literally everything was absolutely perfect- from the warm crust on the baguette to the chilled butter, homemade raspberry sauce for the tuxedo bomb and the perfect blend of flavors in the lasagna. I had a great lunch at this restaurant today, The Italian Twist! I ordered the manager's special and it had sausage, shrimp, mushrooms and spinach with of course noodles and a creamy red sauce. I ate the whole thing. I can't believe it, but it was so good. I also had garlic bread with cheese on it. It was so good too. The portion size was huge so I know I won't be eating dinner tonight. The atmosphere was great. I took a picture so that should be included in this review. I sat outside, had a table with an umbrella, so it was nice and cool and the beautiful potted flowers made it nice. Lastly, I'd like to give a great review to The manager , Paco. Ordered delivery...mid-afternoon. Time for delivery relayed via email was 3:45p. It came and went...no food. They told me the order was cancelled. I was looking forward to it and would NEVER had cancelled. They said they would refund my payment, but they never told me WHO cancelled the order...instead they kept repeating there never was an order. However, I was given 3 different delivery times...so there must have been some kind of order at one point....that someone else, other than I, deleted. Crappy! I'll never go there again or order from there. Their food however was delicious...the one time I got my order...a long time ago. read more

I picked up food from the catering menu for a group dinner. The entrees can either be salad and breadsticks making their prices very competitive. I found it very easy to order. Everything was ready when I arrived and several staff helped bring the hot food to my car. But the most important thing was how much everyone loved the food. Today was my first and last visit to this restaurant, I love Italian food and gave them a shot but it wasn't it. Walking in during lunch today there were a few other patrons inside, waited in line and when it was my turn I was taking a minute to order because I've never been here before. I asked for the shrimp feed and was charged $13.99. Waited for 5 minutes or so until my order was ready. While I was waiting I noticed a sign next to the register but easily visible is a lunch specials sign. The shrimp Alfredo should've been $11.99 and come with a choice of salad and bread. When my order was ready I asked if he charged me for the lunch special and he said no. I advised him as a new customer I would've liked to know about the lunch special because it comes with a lot more food for less money. He seemed indifferent shrugged his shoulders and said ok. The noodles were rubbery and the Alfredo sauce was runny like water not sticking to the noodles at all. It advertised grilled shrimp but these are clearly frozen and tossed in not grilled. Poor quality for a high price I'll just go elsewhere with my business. read more

It's so sad that his place doesn't give you bread with your meal. Instead, they expect you to pay almost $4 for a pc of garlic bread to eat with your Italian meal. New to the area and pleased to find an Italian restaurant here in the Harvest Junction hood. Originally from NJ and even though I have lived in CO many years, remain quite particular about Italian food. While another review said "you don't need a pic of Frank Sinatra on the wall to have the best Italian in the area", I think you kinda do. The food at The Italian Twist was tasty (A+ for the savory "gravy") the food generally could have been made better with bolder spices/herbs (ie. salt, basil, oregano). The cafeteria-style setting and lack of real Italian ambience did nothing for me and my partner. This dining experience could have really been elevated (for example) with a more intimate setting including iconic red-and-white checker tablecloths, Sinatra's pic on the wall AND music on the sound system and for the price of dinner, a really nice touch would be to add a cup of minestrone and garlic bread to every meal, gratis. read more

I got the special of the day the Italian twist pasta. It was fabulous! A creamy spicy sauce and there was plenty of sauce, with a mushrooms, spinach, sausage, shrimp and bacon. I got this to go and it was a pleasure to open the package and find it completely filled so the portion size was excellent. I've been here many times before and every time the food is fabulous.! I always get a couple of sides of meatballs because the meatballs are so delicious as well! The service is always very friendly and they have renovated the inside. The restaurant is always clean! I met a date here. We had read such great reviews about it! Hm. It is a small, order-at-the counter place. I ordered a shrimp pasta dish, and a small Caesar side salad. I don't drink, but thought it a little odd to have an Italian restaurant without wine. Food came quickly. My Caesar salad was delivered-- only it wasn't a Caesar salad. It was a side salad with Caesar dressing. Ohhhhkay. Then I started eating the pasta dish. Needed salt, so I went to the counter to ask for salt and pepper. The guy handed me two little shakers. Been wanting to try this place for a while and so glad I did. I visited around 2 p.m. on a Wednesday and place was nearly empty. Great service and ate in their casual dining area which was simple but clean and inviting. I got a Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo lunch special which included a salad, garlic bread and a nice-sized entree. Everything was so fresh! Pasta was al dente (as it should be!). Nicely seasoned.
