They answered all my questions regarding my aunt , who is elderly and a cancer patient . She has been super dehydrated and in need of vitamins. I wasn't sure if they could service her, but they did . A wonderful nurse named Nissan ( like the car , LOL) came to the house and was amazing with her. He was patient and professional. The Dr. followed with me as well; I am very impressed and will be using again. I've tried to schedule appointments twice with this company. Both times, they took my money and booked an appointment for me and both times they failed to send someone at the time we agreed to through their booking system. It's been a day since they've claimed to refund my money and yet I still don't have it in my account. My experience is that they will process your payment instantly, not send anyone, then tell you you have to wait 3-5 business days for a refund. There are other companies in Chicago that offer a similar service and operate with more professionalism. I would strongly suggest you go to one of those instead. read more

I was in bad shape this weekend. I would have gone to urgent care, but the one near me doesn't do IV treatment for dehydration. The other option would have been an ER visit, but that would have taken hours. I was in no condition to get in the car. My husband found The IV Doc online and called them. The receptionist explained the pricing and process. We booked the $269 Revive treatment and paid the extra $20 "within-2-hours rush fee", which honestly I thought was annoying because why would anyone want to wait longer than that? This is an on-demand business, so just build that $20 into the cost. That knocked down a star for me. My nurse, Jason, arrived 2 hours later, quickly set up and got me hooked up. He was social, attentive, and professional. He called the Doctor with my stats and what he was administering. The Doctor also spoke to me to make sure I wasn't having pains/symptoms elsewhere that would warrant further medical attention. The whole treatment took 1 hour (2 IV bags, nausea medication, pain medication, sour stomach medication). We also got a text the next day to see how I was feeling, or if I needed another treatment. All in all, I recommend this service. The total cost was worth it to me: on-demand, at home, don't need to travel anywhere, and I felt tons better after the treatment. The extra rest and speedier than expected recovery in the comfort of my home.... priceless. read more

They are great. The only reason I say 4/5 stars is because I had to pay $30 for a rush but it still took a full 2 hours. I've used services that don't do that and that are faster. Don't waste your money on the IV doctor. I did. I got them to come to my hotel room. Took Advil for a headache and the nurse told me she could not give me the pain relief (ok- no problem). But then they still charged me for it. I can't submit it to my insurance because it is fraud. The company is full of BS. Just drink water and get some rest, you will feel much better when you wake up and your wallet is still full. This company is a joke. Terrible to deal with. I told them that I didn't get the pain relief medicine and they still charged me and then they told me that they would have to charge me $20 more for a different plan. Even though the bill is broken out with the charges. Its a complete fraud. IV doctor did not help me feel any better and I chased them for a bill for 3 weeks- following up weekly. Two hours later they sent me a text saying they were trying to "secure a nurse" and asked how late I'm available. I was extremely ill after a long night out and was desperate for a resolution. I called and they came to my house within the hour. They added anti-nausea and anti-vomiting meds to the IV and I felt better within 5 minutes of getting the IV. Doesn't take more than 30 minutes. Don't use the IV doctor for PCR tests service is appaling . We paid $890 for 2 tests and a doctor check first and were promised the results 2 days before we were due to fly ...... I had to chase the doctor as he didn't call , they didn't turn up to do the tests despite me confirming appointment and nobody had the courtesy to contact us and nobody answered their phone, eventually I emailed them and they called me back and were rude on the phone , they turned up 3 hours late after the doctor apologised for being so rude and reducing me to tears! They then said they could not confirm when we would get the results so we had to pay another company for further tests !! The IV doctor results came 3 days later as we were at the airport ..... I did complain and the lady was very understanding on the phone and I was offered a 50% refund which I said was unfair as I never got the service offered ...... I have written back 3 times but no response and I even accepted the 50% refund to put the matter to bed but as yet have not been paid back .......... Stay away!! I used this company recently and it was a disaster. Not only was the process of booking extremely difficult and fuzzy, but the actual appointment was horrible and painful. It took multiple attempts (for my arm and my friends arms) for the IV to be properly connected - each of our arms were a total mess for days after. Had a great experience with the IV Doc crew last night. After 12 hours of suffering from food poisoning, I was ready to try anything to feel better. Cue the IV Doc. A couple hours later and two wonderful nurses, Donna and Adriana, arrived. I was given the food poisoning kit - a couple bags and meds to get hydrated (I was extremely dehydrated). I wouldn't recommend this to any trans clients with chronic health issues who can't leave the house easily. I called to make an appointment at 3 because I had been vomiting on and off from a cluster migraine- I couldn't leave the house without vomiting. They offered 8:15 after an hour of waiting them to schedule. I asked to cancel. They said they could re-arrange the schedule. I said okay. They offered 5:45, I said okay. Laid down to rest, 6:00 came, i followed up to receive a response that they had hIt bears game traffic. Okay, shit luck on my part. They were an hour and twenty minutes late. I could've gone to innovative care in Ashland & Fullerton and received an IV for less and been done there by 5:00 at the latest. They get here, go through the schpeel, ask me about when I had last period. I said I'm trans. The nurse proceeds to ask if "I've had the surgery" which is completely irrelevant to my treatment. They then go onto prep my hand for the IV, where she pauses and says "oh your hands are soft they're like girl hands", and then goes onto asking me "when all this happened". I'm sick as shit with a migraine, with two people in my home, trying to receive some medical care. Honestly things like this can be resolved quickly by running through a sensitivity workshop & making sure chatty nurses understand that not everything is on the table for conversation, especially stuff that's very personal and private.
